Really good experience taking my Triumph here! Had a weird problem (kickstand spring attach point broke off) that they were able to fix for me. Terry and Kevin were super helpful, and communication over email and phone were very quick responsive. Definitely will be taking my bike here for future needs

I have been bringing my bikes into Fairfax Cycles and ATV for a good 10 years and have been nothing but happy with everything.

My partner found Fairfax Cycles and took his bike there. He isnt easily impressed, but pretty much complimented this shop from the jump, starting with excellent customer service and speedy email response times. Terry and Kevin really took care of him, so when my Triumph Bonneville continued to have a tough time starting (was unreliable at first, and then would only start running if Bump started), I brought it by Fairfax Cycles. After getting all the parts, they worked on it pretty much right away and it was ready for pick-up within days. It runs great, starts up every time, and I really appreciate the low-key, down to earth vibe of the shop. I can tell they just have so much knowledge and experience across all sorts of makes and models - its really impressive. Quality service at really great, more than fair prices, and great customer service. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

These guys are AMAZING. I caught a flat tire the day before a Memorial Day ride out to the Shenandoah Mountains. I was super disappointed because I thought i wouldnt be able to get on the road on Monday.I stopped by Fairfax Cycle on Sunday evening and the guys said that if i dropped off my bike they would take care of me Monday morning. Sure enough at 9:45 right after they opened my bike was ready for the road! These guys saved the day! Extremely courteous and professional, and they didnt even break the bank.They have earned a life long customer. Highly recommend !

Rip off!!!! If you have a Harley take it to dealer. These guys gave an estimate and charged me 25% more!!!! They charged $25 to clean air filter ON TOP of the 5k service. Absurd!!!

If you’re over shops that waste your time and keep your vehicle for weeks without any updates, look no further - ffx cycles is fast, reliable and you won’t be spending money on things you don’t need. Terry has serviced both my bikes and is always honest about what he thinks he can do. I needed a part that was out of stock everywhere thanks to covid - Terry found a place that had it and even arranged a pickup for me where I wouldn’t have to drive further than I need. Updated me every step of the way and had the bike in and out of the shop in just a few days. Friendly, professional, I for sure will be coming back.

After being ripped-off a couple of times already by the stealership, and due to recommendations from some of my riding buddies, I went in for a tire change.Giving that It was going to rain around the time it would had been done due to the workload on the shop, Terry made all in his power to have my bike ready with time to spend. He even made me aware of a dangerously (if not criminally) thin rear brake pad, not pushing the repair, but making sure I take it easy on my way home before replacing the pads. Needless is to say I did and thank him for the great work he did.Ill be coming back to him and his crew from now on for anything with my current bike and the many Ill buy later in life

Absolutely amazing, top notch service. I have had bad experiences with other dealerships, but Fairfax Cycles is far and away the best motorcycle repair shop in the DMV. If you live in the area, don’t bother to look anywhere else. Terry is honest and professional and he keeps you up to date with everything that is going on with the repair process. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

These guys are so busy they cant take new business for at least a month. They have a great reputation but thats not a good thing because theyre so shorthanded. Add delays waiting for parts to arrive and some repairs may be delayed a couple months

Not impressed. They said they were not equipped to change or repair a scooter tire nor did they have any suggestions for me. Are you kidding me? Definitely wont be recommending them to anyone!

I own three motorcycles and have been riding for 30+ years. I generally do my own tune-ups and repairs but do not always have the time. I took my Royal Star 1300 to Fairfax Cycles for a tune-up and oil change and check-up before my wife and I rode down South to do the Tail of the Dragon in Tenn. The folks at Fairfax Cycle (Terry and Kevin) were great - I really noticed that the bike was riding much better after they worked on it - Terry let me know what they were doing and I felt like they did a great job and I can trust them! I will definitely be back and really appreciate finding a mechanic I can trust with my and my sons bikes! Thanks Fairfax Cycle!! We appreciate the great service! These guys have been servicing my bikes for as long as Ive been riding. Genuinely great people. They are one of the busiest shops in the area, but they are not a large crew, so it can be a bit of a wait. But Ive never been dissatisfied with the quality of work.

The Crew there is second to none. I have been going there for several years now and they have always done right by me. All of the guys up there are down to earth and will explain everything to you if you want to know. They have done all of my custom work from LED lights to putting in a full exhaust. Anytime that I have needed anything, they have responded with different options. As long as this shop is in business, I will bring my bikes. Their prices are reasonable and sometimes if it is a mi or job, they will do it on the house. The crew is always personable and treats you like family and not like you are a customer. Highly recommend having your motorcycles/atvs to get serviced.

This place is awesome. The customer service is friendly, professional and prompt. They also are good at what they do. Ive had other shops unable to properly fix my Honda Magna four-banger, but they fixed it perfectly, promptly, and professionally. I highly recommend their shop

I brought in my Daytona 675 to get both tires changed. Extremely good price and done in a little over an hour where most shops want over a day. Ill definitely be visiting again. Great people and a very friendly atmosphere. You can tell that they know what theyre doing.

I have wintered my bike with these guys for a couple of years now, I have also had them handle a number of repairs and to check the bike and inspect it each spring before I take it out to make sure everything is ride ready. They do not do the official state safety inspections but they will check everything over to make sure its ready. They have always done solid work and at a fair price, I often expected the cost to be higher than it actually was. These guys are solid, fair and honest and know their way around the bike.

They even walked me through what they had done,and actually rode the bike to make sure it was in good shape before they gave me a call to pick it up. I strongly recommend this shop for the following reasons: honest advice and pricing, excellent workmanship, and timely and on schedule service.My personal experience with Terry at Fairfax has been great---I have had multiple tire changes and upgrades completed for my bike (CBR 650) that were completed quickly and at low cost.

I brought my bike to Fairfax after a horrible experience at Coleman, to which they failed to fix or correctly diagnose my problems. Fairfax was able to diagnose my electrical issues (yes, plural) in the timeline they provided. While it took a little longer for the work to be completed, I do not mind as they were always in communication with me, it is the busy season and all of the work was top notch. I should not that it was due to the painter (outside of their shop) that was the small delay, but it was because the painter was not happy with the clear coat and re-did it to make sure it was perfect. When I received my bike they went above and beyond the work I had originally requested and my bike runs better than it ever has. The mechanic, Kevin, is very knowledgeable and personable and Terry is awesome too. Bring your toys here, you wont be disappointed! We will be bringing all of our bikes here from now on.Work completed: electrical work and tank painted. Tank looks great!

I was referred to Terry by Dante. I have to say I have had more than one place work on my bike. I like how they conduct business. Very laid back people.My bike had some issues and has been at their shop for two months. Terry has been keeping me up to date on weekly bases and allways returns my phone calls.I would really recommend them to all the guys in town. I will also be taking my brothers R6 there.

By far the best shop in the DC area, service is fast, every time that I come here they are able to get me and my bikes in and out very quickly. Best part is that these guys are very straight foward no bs what so ever, also their prices are so good I feel like I’m scamming them. At this point would never take any of my vehicles any where else.

Took my FZ6 here for a chain adjustment and throttle cable adjustment right after I bought the bike (used) and had a great experience. They took a look at the throttle cable and clarified that it didnt require adjustment, took me without an appointment, and had me out the door in 20 minutes. If you are looking for a shop to take your bike to in Northern Virginia, these are your guys. I will definitely be returning here for all serious maintenance needs.

I put my motorcycle in this shop because I needed a part for my bike cuz this tow truck driver accidentally drop my bike on the ground, so I search which motorcycle shop is good and honest mechanics can give me a better rate. because of all the comment and reviews are great, so I decided to put my motorcycle in this shop, after a week, I follow up how much is the damage including labor for my bike, and they told me about 8K plus, and I said thats insane!!...I just need them to replace front fairing, left fairing, left mirror, ignitions switch, and gear shift, and that cost in about 8k?....and because they found some little scratch of the right side fairing and signal light even at the back of the bike, they said that they need to be replace too, because its not going to pass inspection....who do you think there talking too?..an 8yrs old boy? and dont know anything about bike?....even the brand new motorcycle has a tiny little scratch on too....so dont give me that crap!!...so I just told them just replace the ignition switch so I can ride it home and fix it myself, and they said, they wont do it, because they dont want the shop to be responsible for anything if theres something happen to me, and I said fine, just give me some document that if I ride my bike home you will not or the shop will not resposible for anything and I will sign it, and they still wont do it. NOT RECOMMENDED

I have been taking my bikes there for years and Terry has always done me right. I have refered various friends with bikes to FFX cycles and they were all very happy with the work that was done. I cant say enough nice things about Terry and the folks at FFX cycles, they are the best Motorcycle repair shop around, dont even think about going to Colemans!

I am so sick of places quoting a price, then changing it. I was quoted winter rates and then FC said because I did not order parts from them they wanted to charge me more! I told them on the phone I had the Tubliss system 2 and new tires and brake fluid before I dropped. When they had my motorcycle the price went to $300 dollars just to do the Tubliss and mount the new tires. The original price was already high $260.I think Fairfax Cycle and others hope since they have your motorcycle, you dont want to go through the hassle of going back and pick it up. Since you took the time and effort to drive down and drop off And not having anything done. Or another example they say you need a new top end or whatever when you do not! One shop said I needed a new top. I asked what would make them say that, I asked if they road the bike or performed any test, is it suddenly smoking? I raced the bike afterwords never had any issues with it before or after. Are all the shops in this area full of po@p like Coleman Powersports, etc.? All my friends and acquaintances have nothing but bad experiences with Coleman. This was my first and last with Fairfax Cycles.

Not my real name (I dont trust google). These folks worked on my Yamaha Roadstar, and they did a super job. I thought my bike was a gonner, but they opened the case and found an $11 spring that broke. I shudder to think what the repair place in Warrenton would have charged me. They do great work at reasonable prices. I wont take my bike anywhere else for work. I cant praise these guys enough!

I normally dont write reviews, but fairfax cycles impressed me with their honesty and affordable prices. I have a gsxr 600 k6 and the regulator went out and I tried to repair it myself, but I couldnt get to the airbox. I looked around for shops to take my bike to and fairfax had excellent ratings on google. I decided after talking with Terri to take my bike there. They took a little longer the than I expected, but they informed each step of the way. They ordered the part and put it on for an excellent price. I was late picking up my bike, but they waited and even let me stay about an hour pass closing to wait for my wife to bring me my riding gear. I highly recommend this shop and anytime I have something wrong with my bike or want to accessorize this will be the shop I will go to.

Best place to serviced your motorcycle in Fairfax.

I took 2 ATVs to Fairfax Cycles, first one was an old 89 Yamaha MOTO-4 350 with a tired out engine. They kept it way too long but parts were hard to get, they rebuilt the engine and carb and the bike has never run so good. Did not realize how it was suppose to run til it was rebuilt. It survived Busco Beach in North Carolina no probs and runs very strong. The 2nd ATV was a Kawasaki Praire 360 I bought used and had them go thru it found the 4 wheel drive actuator switch not working expensive part but fixed quick and perfect and this bike has survived Busco too.Both these bikes were repaired 4 months ago so I waited to do a review until after using both bikes a lot. I highly recommend these guys to fix the right thing, for a fair price, and the first time,

I was a little frustrated that a part I had ordered was taking longer to come in than it should have, but apparently the shop was understaffed at the time. They ended up comping me the bracket, which didnt quite make up for a lost week of riding, but was a nice gesture none the less.
