I worked in hardware stores for over 14 years and I finally had a good experience at a home depot. I dont remember the older gentlemans name but he knew exactly how to find the item I was looking for. Keep up the good work, the one in Napa still blows.
This Home Depot had great parking and a great Garden section. Cashier in Garden was super quick and on top of things. Aisles were clear they had everything I needed
It would be nice it they could answer the phone . It starts there .I’ve lived here for 22 years it wasent always like this and this Home Depot in Fairfield has the worst phone skills . After 42 rings and being transferred 2 times I decided to just move on .They need better phone skills . This is not rocket science . In fact solano county’s bar is low in the business and professional arena .

Kevin in Appliances stands behind his delivery service even though they failed to deliver my dryer when scheduled. I still don’t have it. When I spoke to have Kevin, he kept repeating he stands behind his delivery service. For a minute, I thought it was just a recording since that’s the only thing he said. Stay away from appliance delivery at Home Depot. It would appear somebody else had the same problems a month ago in reading these reviews. Kevin did nothing to help me. Hopefully the second time’s a charm.

Very discouraging experience. Many associates have no idea where products are and appear uninterested in finding out. Was looking for hooks for hanging plants. After asking 3 associates who had no clue and who had no motivation to help, I gave the plants to one of them who had resumed standing and staring into space and gave up and left the store. I purchased what I needed at another store.
Shorted me on the bolts I ordered. Had go get the right piece of hardware after an a societ claimed they were all gone. Stock said 8,. I found 8.

Today they didnt have the proper employee on the floor helping in plumbing! We waited almost an hour, because they were busy, but in the mean time someone else came by. He had zero clue in helping us and finally he came by to help but he only a bit more knowledge than the last person! I just left with a cutoff valve and a connecting line for under the sink.
I could spend hours in this place always looking for ways to fix up my house.
I love this place. I always get the assistance I need ..... and thats alot because I am in no way, manner, shape or form a carpenter, plumber or contractor. I just try to keep the home in good repair. These people always help me make the right choices of what I need for the job I am doing. No upsale pressure. I tell em what I am doing and what I need and one of them will walk through the store with me until I have what I need. That prevents me from having to make that embarrassing second trip for something I didnt know I needed. The cashiers are wonderful. They are talkative and productive all while having beautiful smiles and remaining professional.

I have to give it to home Depot this time service was great cleanliness was great. usually when I walk into home Depot and I need help everybody runs. Not this time they were very helpful and when I went to the self checkout they would not let me check out until they disinfected the area where the customer before me had been.
Good if you know what you want. Lousy if its not on the lower rack and you have to ask someone to get it down. You could die of old age first. There app tells you its in one isle, and its somewhere else. Why have the app?

It was great. I needed a chest freezer and got one for a really good price. I got help really fast and he even got me a flat cart for me.

Low Store Staff Quality and Very Slow Answering Phone Calls.This review is based on my visits to the store and one pending flooring project with the same store. First off, the flooring consultant on site should not be hired for the job. She cant communicate clearly and has zero patience. She speaks to her hearts content without listening to the customer. After 2+ hours working with her we still couldnt get the correct estimate. We received 2 obsolete/wrong estimates in email but not the correct one she printed out for us. So there is no way to move the project forward without going back to the store and start over.Second, if you have tried to call the store before then you already know the problem. Unlike all the other (4, 5) H.D. stores that I have called in the past, this store doesnt seem to care about customer phone calls. And, even when I got lucky to talk to someone, they can never complete the task without transferring me to another number. Which, of course, doesnt get answered and end up wasting more of my time.Even though Home Depot is enjoying a very healthy growth in business, this store is not servicing the customer right. I put the blame on the management and will try to avoid visiting this store from now on.

I just changed my rating from four stars to 2 Stars.I went in yesterday ready to purchase a brand new refrigerator.I was there for over 45 minutes ready to buy on the spot. I could not get anybody to help me.Now I will definitely end up buying somewhere else.Their service has definitely gone downhill.
They have almost anything youd want. Even though they didnt have what I was looking for, bread baking stone, I still check them out for other things: nuts, bolts, screwdrivers, etc.

My visit here was awesome! I lost my Mounting screws for my TV, and I couldnt find them right away so I asked for help. Jason in Hardware helped me find the right screws, he really took his time to make sure I left with the right thing. I felt taken care of! Awesome!

We ordered a garage door and installation August 1, 2020. As of today, September 30, 2020, we are still trying to get assistance from the Fairfield Millworks department, specifically Justin. The rail installed was not what the installer quoted and our garage door opener will not set up correctly (wifi). We have left messages, gone into the store and tried to reach the store manager but nothing has worked. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER will we use this store again. This has not been the first time their customer service has been horrible.
