Your service is not complete. They forgot the molding on my front windshield its kind of a big deal. When I pointed it out to them, they said it was complete . Im in the process of trying to get a service with them theyre hard to reach nobody wants to give you a call the best you can get is somebody to text to and they want you to do a warranty service. Complete waste of my time. Looking at the windshield they installed it may not even be the right one for my car theres a big gap on the sides. Do not take your car here if you care about the way your car looks in your car overall.So you guys can take the time to reply on a review but you guys cant take the time to call the customer back a paying customer to handle and settle the problem which was pointed out at the time of pickup you guys are a waste of time not professional at all 100%;
Never again. They didnt contact me as stated they would to go over things and the pictures that were sent. Was told pics were never received. He said my windshield couldnt be fixed. He didnt even look at anything. They are not the only mobile windshield company around. I would never use them again. My first experience about 2 years ago with them was awesome. Tired of companies using the pandemic as an excuse for the horrible customer service.
Once a correct appointment time and place was figured out everything went very well.
What a joke. Took the day off for a repair at my home. Got several emails stating the technicians name and reminders...I finally get though and im told the appointment was canceled BUT they didnt have my correct number. YOU do have my correct email though? Safelite please get your act together as im going elsewhere because my time is very valuable to me but apparently not to you.
After much trouble from my own insurance company for over two weeks, I was very, very apprehensive about getting my windshield replaced. The paperwork end of this claim was problematic.After a few minutes after I arrived at the Fairfield location of Safelite AutoGlass, Anthony introduced himself and was very personable, and he assured me that he would take good care of my vehicle. When I told him about the problems I experienced, he said we will fix it, and there will be no problems! He was quite professional in his briefing and was obviously very knowledgeable and highly skilled. He confirmed my windshield (Original Equipment Manufacturer -OEM) was in stock and that he would be doing the actual work. He explained that there were sensors behind the windshield that would have to be calibrated, and it would take a little extra time. He answered all my questions, and his thorough answers gave me confidence in him.My confidence was confirmed. Anthony performed the work to very high standards, and I could not tell that the windshield had been replaced. He did everything he said he would do and explained exactly what he had done. I appreciate his professionalism. I told him he should be running the place!Outstanding work!
We used Vics glass in napa by the Subaru dealer. They really went out of their way to help, they did a great job.
Good luck! Awful customer service, sat on hold two separate times for over 30 minutes and still could not get a hold of a Rep . They also cancelled my appointment less than an hour before the scheduled time.

Wilfredo was great! I came from Petaluma to Fairfield because San Rafael location didnt have any openings. Brought my car in, had Wilfredo work on it. They estimated 3-4 hours of labor, but they were done earlier than expected. Thank you! My car is back to life.
We made a claim with Progressive a few months ago for a new windshield. We have been getting the runaround ever since! Safelight continues to tell my husband that the glass we need for our 2021 Ram truck is on back order. However. When we call other places they say different. Any dealer we call says they also have to go through Safelight. So how come they can get glass but we can’t here in the Fairfield, CA office? Do we blame Progressive for not helping us with this issue? Or is Safelight at fault? The staff has been unprofessional in Fairfield so the manager has had to take over our claim but still we have no end in sight. When will people stop blaming Covid for their mismanagement? Safelight has not been truthful in why they continue to put us on hold. We can’t pay out of pocket so we went through them because Progressive pays them and we pay our deductible. This is a monopoly! The staff in Fairfield told my husband many times that they had the glass only to find out when the appointment occurred that they had the wrong glass! But in the records it says we cancelled our appointments which we did not! There is something very wrong going on here!
This company is absolutely horrible. They have the worst customer service ever, they do not know how to communicate. They quote you one price and then turn around in charge you another and then play stupid. All I can say is save yourself heartache and stress and go somewhere else.
They were super helpful, though I scheduled two days in advance. And they didnt have the right glass. With that though it was a commercial account and the adjustments were made and expedition to the work was done. Overall I would recommend
I had an appointment that I made 10 days ago and I requested the 8 to 1 appointment in which they obliged. However when the appointment time came I waited until one oclock. No show no call I started texting chatting calling to see where my technician was just to be told that the manager would give me a call in regards to my appointment which as of 636 on the day of the appointment that call has not been made. This is very frustrating that theyre ignoring me and yet I still have a cracked windshield that needs to be replaced. I will not use this place again.

Absolutely terrible DO NOT USE!!! There is no lifetime warranty, they only credit you back what you initially spent. My windshield is still cracked and they will only attempt to repair it once. If it spread even a little they charge you for a full replacement…$500. SCAM!!!

They did a good job replacing the windshield. However, a few days later we noticed the passenger side door handle area covered with the windshield sealant. Impossible to contact the business as the number listed goes only to corporate. So I left comment on their web site. Waited over a week, NO RESPONSE. Called the number earlier this week, still unable to talk to the business, after being put on hold three times, once for 14 minutes, I was told by the apparent corporate person they would come by with their mobile unit and take care of it that afternoon (Monday of this week) . I waited all afternoon, no show. I am hesitant to notify the BBB because I think if a customer were allowed by the buttheads up the ladder to communicate with the business manager, things could be taken care of. At this point I am sharing this with my insurance co (Allstate) who set the appoint up.
My service was handling in very professional way from the beginning to the end.The observations I would like to mention are:1. The lobby & restroom need more atention.2. It would be a plus to have a shuttle service within a 5miles radius to dercrease the # of people in the lobby...Other that I am please with Safelite - Fairfield CA - service :)
I got a chip in my windscreen yesterday. Its 10am the next day, and its already fixed, like it never happened. Excellent service, fast, good job, on time, cant complain about the cost. Id definitely come here again if I got another chip, which I suppose is inevitable.
I had to bring a work van in for a quick fix.. they said it would hold until they came out to do the actual replacement . Well their temp fix didnt last. I didnt even make it to the freeway before it was falling off. So I had to go back.. side note I asked if it would hold and I was told it would..

Over all good service. There was a misfire with the parts number and exact part description which led to a delay. Finally they scheduled me for a mobile appointment. The service tech was good and finished the job in timely manner. The negative is that the wipers of my car wont work now. I did not check that immediately because the tech asked to wait for sometime before I moved the car. One would reckon that the tech should have checked everything after the completion of the job but probably not the case. Result, I would have to make another unnecessary trip to the place.Recently went for a chip repair. Spot on service . John was great and did the repair perfectly and in time. Updating my review to 5 stars.
I was greeted when I walked in the door and all of the staff was friendly and professional. The repair was made quickly and looked great from the outside. The only complaint I had from this visit was that a bit of debris from the windshield removal was left inside the car littering the shifter area. Overall, it was a good experience.

I scheduled a morning appointment through my insurance. But I got a confirmation of service from 8am - 5pm. I tried to call the shop to figure out will the technician arrived before a certain time but the call number is useless, hung me up and referred me to the website.
They did an outstanding job. I was very impressed.
Each of my cars windshield has been replaced once now and Ive always taken them to Safelite. Never had any issues with their workmanship and the parts that they use. I definitely recommend and bring my car here if I ever need a windshield replacement.
Their warranty is really not a warranty at all!

Had a small crack in my windshield. When tech tried to fix, it spread and now I need a whole new windshield. I also have to wait a whole week for my appt. I would have appreciated someone giving me precautions on how to keep the crack from spreading further as I drive to and from work. My first experience here and I cant tell you how disappointed I am.

Friendly quick service. But unfortunately expensive. Auto insurance coverage doesnt cover the cost at all as Safelite says in their commercial. All I got with my Triple AAA insurance is a 15% discount at this place. That didnt do much. I would have given this place a full five stars for this review if the insurance did actually cover the cost.

I dont even wanna give them a star. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. THEY ARE ALL LIARS. You may have to wait more than a week for replacing your windshield. In my case, they ordered a wrong windshield two times that made me wait almost for a months. What happened to the next? The very next day of replacing the windshield, it got again broken by a very little stone, the point of hit was not even visible, but impacted a long crack. A friend of mine who worked in a body shop told me that it could possibly be installed in a wrong way. It was covered by insurance, but still took too long time for the replacement. I am waiting for another week to replace the windshield in a different shop. I hope you dont experience the same thing.

I was having a terrible day and I want in to fix my windshield that got cracked by a rock. They said the repair wouldnt look great but it would fix it from cracking further but it looked great everyone was so kind and it took about 15 minutes max. It was a great experience.
Good folk. The interior is very simple and modern. There are large visible stains from spills on multiple seats, making it look rather messy. Other than that, its a very clean. The bathroom is clean and orderly. The repair was done in about 45 minutes as they said it would. Safelite is Geicos preferred glass repair and installer. Was a painless experience.
While on vacation my truck window was broken out, and Safelite came to the rescue. I didnt have an appointment but they got me right in. I cant believe it only took one hour and 15 minutes. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the technician, Charles. The glass was the same shade as original and looks great. Thanks to the Safelite team for saving my vacation!

For the first time, Safelite was scheduled on a date, but never showed up, never called. I called Geico back and they didnt know what happened. But, they rescheduled again and everything was fine. Not sure if it was a Geico / Safelite communication issue. Ill give them a benefit of the doubt.The tech, Maryanne however, was very professional and courteous! Completed the job as expected. She cleaned and vacuumed my car too! Way to go Maryanne!! Keep up with the positive attitude and your smiles! :-)

Made Zero Effort. My car was broken into and the window smashed. The next appointment was a week away so I drove down there to be there before they opened. Once they opened, there were a bunch of workers standing around doing nothing and I was told they would not even attempt to squeeze me in, that the next appointment was over a week away. I would have been happy waiting around, but was told no and I should go somewhere else.

The guys braved the smokey ash filled air here in Napa from the recent and ongoing fires and they did a great job. Glad I had some extra respiratory masks for them so they could breath safely. They were on time despites the extra traffic on their way here.
Ive unfortunately had to come in twice in the last few months (different cars) and while it sucks to have car problems, the people here make it manageable. Theyre very polite, the service is good, the repairs are good, and they get you back out in a reasonable amount of time.

Had passenger side window broken by vandals at a local eatery in my home town. Cost to repair fell into my out of pocket expenses. Heard about Safelite AutoGlass repair on TV so I thought Id give them a shot. Used a local shop in the next town. Service manager and technician provided excellent Cust. Service (which, unfortunately, is not common these days). They not only replaced my window, but replaced the motor that operates my electric windows. Awesome Job!! Nice working with Safelite to replace a broken window on my 2019 vehicle, had to order a part from Toyota and they wrapped my window in some plastic until the part came in. I wish they had a direct phone line to reach them rather than going through the central call center though.
