Klamath makes really good boats, and also provides great customer service. The staff gave helpful advice about the boat as well.

Awesome boat builder.I bought a 20 year old Klamath 16ft center console and it still looks good. Im going to refinish it so it looks more modern but the boat has held up great.I contacted the company for some parts and they have been helpful. I understand that a boat builder would rather spend their time making the boats but they have not shrugged me off for my small items.Imagine if you bought a new boat! Maybe that will be me once my little ones outgrow the boat.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!! I will never buy a klamath boat again based on this experience

I own a 14 foot Klamath boat that needed some work on the transom.Which i live 5 mins away from the facility in Fairfield.The guy ED wanted me to go to yuba city to get my boat worked on. Are you kidding me? I live 5mins away he said there’s no appointments available and I had to go to yuba city to get it worked on.I’m never buying a Klamath boat again!Due to poor product support at the facility.I figured that I would help out my local businesses by throwing them a bone. I’m not a penny-pincher.

Wish I could rate this business one way or the other. Let me explain,A) They dont answer the phone, ever, this is not just my experience, but that of a friend as well.B) They arent in their office very much. I have tried three times to stop by now and only managed to get a couple of workers that were in the bays, but no one in the office, and the guys building knew little of the boats, not even the sizes. Even waited around with a Comcast tech who had an appointment to do work at the business, thinking they would show up to get the work done at the appointed time - NOPE - Over an hour, never showed up.C) It doesnt appear that their showroom is complete and the pictures of boats that I see all over the web for the 152, 16 EXW, and 18 OPW are all interchanged in a misleading way.So, that said, the boats they build are from all accounts, and my experience -- AWESOME FISHING MACHINES -- They are simple, tough, easy to maintain and cheap to run all day fishing. Will I end up buying one, most likely, but they should be thankful it has nothing to do with my experience with this business.

I found thru first-hand experience with Klamath boats my experience could hardly been better.The owner,Ed showed that customers are important. Thanks Ed for your outstanding service
