Hands down this was the best and easiest experience buying a car. Everyone at this dealership is amazing, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. I worked with Larry and he is the best. I would highly recommend anyone to visit Scap Auto Group.
Worst service ever. Phil Conte the service manager is spineless and doesn’t return calls. He puts everything on the nice ladies up front to deal with problems. No communication, no calls back, no accountability, no common sense. I’ll leave it at that.
Great experience unlike any other and I’ve been leasing for over 20 yrs. Larry, the salesman, was great to work with. He was prompt and reliable and his finance person, Tori, really went the extra mile to negotiate a “better than anticipated” deal. We had the exact Jeep we were shopping for in days ! Was truly the overall best car leasing experience I’ve ever had. I live on Long Island and love life here but I’ll never shop for a car here again. Larry, Tori and the sales manager Rick were top notch! I’ll be back for sure
Robert in the bodyshop was a complete professionalHe took on a daunting task of restoring the exterior of my 05 dodge magnumI shopped around other bodyshops in the area and no one would do the jobI took it to Robert and he did not hesitateHe painstakingly restore my magnum back to newThank you Robert and the men in the bodyshop
Great work. Fair prices. Trusted siteThey help me threw a difficult time with a terrable insurance comp. All State
Total scammers. I bought a work truck from them recently and they told me everything was 100%. We went on a quick test drive and everything seemed fine. They made me sign something saying i was buying it as is. I pulled out of the dealership and as soon as I hit 60mph the whole truck starts vibrating so I call them and they told me sorry it was sold as is. Very dishonest!! Wouldn’t trust anything they say.
The ladies are nice at the service desk. Always helpful when I have to get my car serviced.
Bought my mother’s car in for service, and it was the worst experience I have ever had a dealership. Told them what was wrong and felt as though they disregarded how I felt but yet everyone after me was well taken care of...told them I had a problem with the spare key and the women who works up front said I never mentioned that to them, when I literally said it about 3 times, definitely not returning to this place. Went in for a simple oil change and left with the biggest headache.
The sales people and Jeep vehicles are great so I have purchased four new cars from Scap in the past seven years but that is where it ends. My service experience with Scap has been terrible!. Each time I bring a vehicle in for repairs or maintenance I am treated worse than the previous visit.
Was in the market of shopping for my sons 1st car as a late graduation/birthday gift.I inquired through Car Gurus and I received a call right away from Ernie. It was the start of an AMAZING experience. Spoke with Ernie, went up to Connecticut to meet him and he had the car pulled out and ready for me. There was absolutely no pressure, he knew this was my first time doing this and my first stop. Ernie quickly became a friend, we sat and talked about EVERTHING under the sun after we talked the car. I told him I still wanted shop around over the weekend. He even gave me tips on what to look for in making my decision, even texted over the weekend to see how my search was going. His sincere concern, interest in us as the customer and professionalism was what made me want to buy the car from HIM.Ernie was NOT the pushy, high pressured, fast talking sales person we were prepared for. He worked with us on the price and even went as far as asking for the video of me surprising my son with the keys (my son cried).I told Ernie I WILL be a repeat customer and a friend!! He was GREAT!!!
Pete and Tony were great. They both worked hard and found me the best price and best deal. I would definately recomend them.
BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE ALMOST KILLED ME. AFTER SAYIG THEY FIXED MY BRAKES, my brakes went out and I couldn’t stop at a red light. They didn’t apllogize. They wouldn’t reimburse me. What’s more, they wanted more money to do another “fix.” WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
Ive been meaning to write this review for a while but kept forgetting. I bought a 2014 Jeep from Scap in may of 2014, the vehicle had just come off lease and had low mileage. Prior to finding Scap (by accident), I went to 4 or 5 other dealers and I was really upset, yes actually upset, with how I was treated at all of them. I found several jeeps advertised online for certain prices and each place I went to not only didnt have the same car, but tried to bait and switch me into an older model for MORE money. I went to the dealership in Norwalk and that was my last straw. I was driving by Scap on the way home and decided to stop in even though I was frustrated. Again, this was a total accident and I never heard of Scap prior to me dropping in. Ultimately stopping at Scap was literally the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Scott showed me the 2014 Jeep and gave me a price that was much better than any other dealership. I agreed to buy the car within the first 30 minutes because I knew they were not screwing me around and were perfectly upfront with the price and product. I did my research over and over again and they offered the BEST deal. It doesnt stop there... I am from MA and I needed MA plates and reg. I think there was a small fee for doing this but the dealership took care of everything from soup to nuts over the course of a couple of days. Ive purchased out-of-state vehicles before and never had any problems, but this was just extra smooth and quicker than I was accustomed to. Finally, they offered me a very low rate with ZERO money down. I do have a very good or excellent credit score but I own a business and sometimes banks hesitate to lend money because of that. I honestly still cant believe how easy everything was and Ive never been happier buying a car. The Jeep itself is awesome and is everything I expected, but the whole experience was just simply amazing on top of it.
I just made my last visit to SCAP Auto, ever. The service is unpredictable, sometimes good and others poor. The parts department is the worst I’ve ever visited. During my visit today, I asked the attendant for 2003 Jeep, black frame paint. He first came back with a huh, so I repeated “black frame paint for a Jeep.” His next response was “We don’t carry that.”So, I went across the street to the service department just to confirm they sell black paint for Jeeps and the attendant said of course they do but I needed to go over to the parts department. It is sad when your local parts supplier has such a hard time finding Mopar parts. On the way home, I stopped in at Napa and was able to find a paint substitute for Mopar black frame paint as well as a substitute for SCAP Auto parts.Cheers
Horrible service center. They have had our car which was bought new from them many times and more than one occasion its had to go back for re fixes and another time rhey had our car 2 weeks and couldnt fidgure out what was wrong with it and never called us to make other arrangements..... they proceeded to just put the parts they had taken off back on the car loosely so when it was towed to another shop oh boy dis they have a mess to deal with.. another time the cashier told me honey get ypur man to buy u a new car !!!!! Mu car is less than 8 years old ! In my opinion their mechanics are a bunch of idiots
BEWARE!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! Worst place.!!! Bought a 2005 jeep wrangle from them paid cash. They fix nothing I on the car that we had agreed to . they tell after a week the car is ready for pick up. I go there my jeeps carpets are not in, the jeep is not washed you can not even see out the window so dirty, rear view mirror is hanging, no wheel lock key they can not find it. the car was ready the day before they said . i think they got it ready that day.. Also no gas, and the radio in a different language, drive from fairfield to wolcott get home front bumper is not even bolted. and someone cut the wires to the speakers. maybe that is why radio was in a different language. next week i take it to have some front end parts replaced. A couple days later it is running i am putting my dogs in it, the jeep catches on fire. someone have removed all the tape from the wire harness and it up against motor and melted. I called them they said no warranty, but only had the jeep for a 2 weeks . and the first week it was getting front end parts. They said nothing they can do about it . Dont buy from them. IT took me 2 years to save . now it sit in the back yard until i save enough to have the jeep rewired. thanks scap auto now back to no car again .
