Just bought a brand new AR 15 pistol that they built it was beautiful when I shot it it was even more what I could’ve ever expected if anybody sees this posting before you go anywhere check them out first they’ll always have my business

Nothing special about this place. Its just an average gun store for your needs. They do have an owner who is a master gun Smith but he isnt there often. It probably better to work on your own guns if you have the ability & just order the necessary parts you need for repairs like most people do. I mean if you own any forearm & cant tear it down to clean, work on or do repairs then you probably shouldnt own a firearm to begin with.

I Visited lighthouse gunsmiths LLC. For a firearm today. Walked in,And was greeted buy a dog first. Totally a plus off the bat💪😄👍. Requested the firearm, talked about the firearm, and walked out in a matter of short time.Good folks in my book, i will be back in the future.

They really need to close up shop and get a different career sorted. Both gentlemen were extremely rude. Condescending and hateful. Skimped me on a 50 round bag of ammo. I hope you get raided and shut down.

Definitely a different place than when Gary had it. If you havent been in a few years go it wont disappoint. Large selection of new and vintage firearms. Good pricing and very knowledgeable staff. And some pretty cool stuff in the store too. I like it...

Needed a gun they did not have in stock. Emailed the staff for information got a response within the hour from the store manager. Went to the store, got the specific gun ordered, received it two business days later at a better price than any gun store around. Staff followed up with me as soon as my order came in. Best experience Ive ever had with a gun purchase. Staff was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They seemed very family oriented which is an important thing to me. Will be going to this store for every gun I purchase from here on out. Anyone that says theyve had a bad experience at this store is probably someone that looked or acted like they should never come in contact with a firearm. Overall I could not have been happier. Thank you guys for your excellent service. Everyone, buy your guns from these folks, you wont be disappointed.

Bad Customer Service, We Were Judged by Our Color because We Are Black, They Didnt want Us to Purchase anything We Were told to Leave. We Were Never Greeted upon Entering the Store Either.

Best Gunsmiths in town. I had an older revolver that would not advance the cylinder. I took it to a big chain gun store and three weeks later their gunsmith returned my gun in pieces (26 pieces) in a ziplock with a note saying it could not be fixed. I took it to Lighthouse and in a couple of weeks they had it fixed and operating like a brand new fire arm. As far as I am concerned Lighthouse is the only gunsmith Ill take a gun to.

I dropped off a rifle to have their gunsmith look at it about 9:30 AM. The gentleman behind the counter told me that the gunsmith would be in a little bit. I didn’t hear anything throughout the day so I called back around 4:30pm and the gentleman that answered the phone told me that the gunsmith had not looked at my rifle and was backed up for a few weeks. I went and picked up my rifle. There wasn’t an apology or anything. I suggest anyone reading this goes to spend their money somewhere else.

They are very knowledgeable, helpful and have awesome customer service. I called about having a gun drilled and tapped as a surprise for my Dad they told me to come on in and had it done in less than an hour. With great craftsmanship it worked prefect and my Dad can now shoot his favorite gun agin. I can’t thank these guys enough they are awesome and would recommend them to everyone. Really great place for what I went there for they got my gun fix let me know when it was fixed with that Prospect the place is amazing.

First time ar-15 buy and staff was quite knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Took home a DPMS with handle and scope for a reasonable price. Later I bought a HK VP-40 which shoots very nice groups. Highly recommend this store and also their remarkable website.

I have had good experiences every time I have been there. Easiest place too order a firearm. Good deals most of the time and a great place to order hard to find firearms. It is easy to say you have had a bad experience at a gun shop, most people dont know what it is like dealing with the general public. You cant make everyone happy it is impossible I have tried. There are to many firearms to know all the details on all of them do your own research if youre interested in something and give these guys a chance they have been around 25 years for a reason and are more with the times than a lot of other local gun shops I have dealt with.

My favorite Gun Store in the area. I have bought many many guns here. They always have great prices and great service. Best of all though is the advice they give regarding the guns and the upgrades (sights, flashlights, etc). I usually take my guns here to have them worked on and everything has worked out great. The Gunsmithing here is awesome. They have also found me several hard to find guns. Everyone I know loves this shop and the guys that work there.

Super nice guys, helped me with all my rifles and very fair with prices. Took all the time needed to help me with my decisions. Also built me a custom ar-15 in house the same day. Highly recommend

I think having a week to take a barrel off an action with the correct tool a gunsmith should have is reasonable. Use a savage wrench for a savage barrel, not maybe a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench, a 40+ year old gun does not have shiny new marks on the nut. Im glad i picked up the gun he could do anything else to it poorly

Bad business!!! My only dealings with this place, I bought a pistol grip for my ar-15. I put it on my gun as shown. Took it to the range, while I was shooting I noticed that the grip was loosing. So I took the tool to tighten down the grip and it snapped in several pieces. While disappointed, I figured I would exchange for a different one or upgrade it. Took it back to the store the guy told me he didn’t have any in, but assured me they were on order and would call me when they arrived. After a week went by I haven’t received a call, I called up to the store to check on the status of my part. The same guy told me he can’t warranty it due to abuse!! I tried explaining to him I installed it correctly and the grip began to loosen with the recoil of the gun (starting to fold down) instead of listening to me he goes on telling me his theory on how it broke. He offered me a discount on the same part!!! Absolutely unacceptable by all means! I will buy from someone with a better product and who stands behind their word!!! Just bad business!!!!!

Excellent place to purchase a firearm. This place knows all about guns. If you need answers, they will have them. this place has been here since i was a little kid and long before that as well.

I went into the shop on 6/12/13 and asked if they had any .22 lr ammo. They quickly said no. I happened to look behind the counter and there was a 500 round box sitting on a self under the gun rack. I asked What about those? One of the men behind the counter responded Those are for people that buy guns, I assume because of his inflection that he was insinuating that I wasnt going to buy a gun from them. Well after the response I got from him I wont be. What kind of gun shop only sells ammo to people that are currently buying a gun?

Go to the small shops and support them, good variety lead movers in all calibers with everything else to with them. They can also fix, modify and repair your lead movers.

Everytime I have gone in there I have gotten great service and even if I dont intent on buying a gun from them they will check out the gun i want to purchase and give me more knowledge on the gun. True from what most people say about Gary not being the most personable person BUT he is very up front and honest. Id rather do business with someone that will be up front and honest then some of the other people in the industry that will say whatever to get you to buy from them.

Went there on my lunch break yesterday to check out what they carry in store. The selection is great, lots of different big name brands and a name or 2 I wasnt familiar with. They have a large selection of handguns, a handful of AR platforms and shotguns, some bolt rifles, and many different kinds of holsters.But the bad.The customer service.The prices.Customer service is pretty important to me as a gun enthusiast. If Im going to buy a firearm from a business, I want to be treated like a customer and not like an annoyance. When I walked in it took a solid 5 minutes for anyone to notice me when I was the only one there. There was a man sitting at the counter staring at me, and he replied only with one word statements or grunts. I asked him some questions about the Mossberg Shockwave and he LITERALLY stared at me and didnt respond at all. I asked him the same question and he again, stared at me, and didnt so much as grunt. So my questions went unanswered and I felt like I was an intrusion, which is opposite of what a business should strive to achieve.The prices were ridiculous. 499 for a M&P Shield? I understand that Smith always has deals on these handguns, but the average price without a major deal is still usually 375-400. What a joke. Right next to the Shield was a Glock19 Gen 4. Usual MSRP- about 499 to 550. Their price- $599. Mossberg has the Shockwave on their site with the MSRP at $455, this store has it set at $499. Only a difference of $50 but seeing pretty much every firearm as a high price makes me think theyre just trying to rip everyone off.

Bought my first handgun from Gary ....can anybody help me with this ....I have a glock 17 and the first pin looks like it came out and now the gun will only fire as a single shoot can Gary’s gun adjust this pin?HELP James G Spearman

I bought an m and p shield from them paid 524 when at target world they were charging 450 for it. I will never go back in there if they dont know you they will tax you and then the gun jams up. If they dont know you at least try and get the price lowered or they will charge out the ass. Just save yourself some trouble and go to target world. I could have probrably bought glock 19 for a little more than what they charged me.
