Its years between visits . Bigger better store than I remember

They are lax in stocking the shelves and they gouge on prices. The store isnt on Cape Cod but they feel they can charge residents as if it is Cape Cod. I hate this place.

Go ye forth and shop there! They have more sales than any other store I know of. I gave it four stars because bagging is spotty.

Kyle is really nice. I see him often there. Always with a smile and very friendly.

Great selection and always fast service

Prices beat the competition by at least a dollar on just about anything. Produce is great with a nice variety. Deli & bakery very reasonable. Good quality. Definitely will continue to shop here as ive done for years, even though it may not be my closest option. Cashiers always friendly & willing to help too.

Store is clean & well priced. Only downside is they let people come in without masks. I saw one walk right past a few workers and no one said anything, they just let him walk around like that.. disappointing.Edited to clarify - EMPLOYEES are letting CUSTOMERS walk around without masks on. The employees always seem to be wearing their masks/practicing social distancing, but dont care is the customers do.

This is a great store. I have shopped at stop & shop for many years in different towns. This store has great choices of merchandise great variety. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and healthy looking. I can find just about everything here that I need and then some. Their personal items like shampoos etc and so forth is incredibly well stocked. Its almost overwhelming. And this includes shampoos hand creams etc. It is easy to check out because they have an area where you can do self checkout and theres always someone there to help if you get stuck on something. If you go through the regular line and have the checker ring your order up, theyre always efficient and get the job done quickly. all in all its a very pleasant store to shop in and I shop there every week.

We love stop N shop because they have fresh good fruits and vegetables variety. Clean and organized. Awesome place to shop. Highly recommended.

Fine store but I had trouble finding some items

I need to process that this is solely written on the lack of management oversight for this facility. Having toxic family members who go into regularly shop at other Stop & Shop sites for many years it is come to the following attention. This site has lack of management oversight for the protection of their elderly customers in the customers in general. I do not see anyone posted to help coordinate and support customers to safely and in a respectful manner utilize social distancing and use of face masks. Just today as I was shopping a woman, middle-aged Indian summer garment, was blatantly not using a face mask. Not once did any stuff stop her and tell her not to shut up. I saw many elderly customers around her. I am not blaming any of the stuff as this is a top-down issue. Where is the managerial oversight to actually protect the customers? Its clearly not there. Sing many of the reviews it looks like the manager spend far more time trying to clap back at reviewers instead of implementing those within the organization. Please do your job.

This is my usual store for late night trips, Im in New Bedford but this Stop & Shop is a lot less busy than the local ones at night. Produce and bakery sections are both good, the meat section is a little small compared to other stores but all the Stop & Shops are like that. This one doesnt have liverwurst in the bacon and sausage cooler for some reason, which is basically the only thing that would make me decide to go to the Kings Highway or Dartmouth St ones instead.

Stop&Shop in Fairhaven is very customer oriented. The employees are helpful and social. I was shopping during a busy time and was surprised to see the store manager bagging groceries. The produce dept. looks great and you can see the pride they take in their displays.

Store clean and neat. Staff friendly and self checkout was a breeze.

We bought a big container of water melon and kept it in a cooler it was spoiled by the time we put it out for dessertVery sad about that

The worst supermarket in the area. Overpriced, constantly out of stock on many items, and never enough registers open.

Not my first choice unless something is on sale. Prices are too high. Fairhaven location is preferred to pay utility bills

This store has a refrigerator malfunction everythin is defrosting in their freezer they are using stop and shop towletts to absorb the water and still putting stock out! What kind of sick manager does this!

Good for most stuff but the deli and fresh produce are not as good as Shaws.

I only go into this facility if it is my last resort. Over priced when compared to Shaws and terrible service when compared to Seabras or Truccis.

I get that you guys dont sell booze, but its becoming beyond inconvenient that you guys cant take alcohol bottles and containers. Shouldnt have to make 2 trips.

I have shopped at this store for over ten years. However, my experience shopping here on 24 April 2020 was extremely disappointing. New guidelines for social distancing while present with floor markings (not bold enough to notice unless paying attention to the floor instead of the shelves) were not followed by customers, nor enforced by the store. More than one person per family was present in the store. This, despite a security person at the only entrance to the store. It seems the job the security guy had was to count people coming in and out. Only half of the customers wore masks. Many without masks went through aisles the wrong way. It was impossible to maintain 6’ distance. The store needs to step up and more vigorously enforce measures that our Governor has said are necessary to keep the general public safe. While S&S corporate headquarters advertises how much they care about their customers and workers, both with full page newspaper ads and on TV, what was physically happening in the store suggests otherwise.

Havent been here for some time. This location has all the regular things youd want. However its a bit run down and you have to sift through the carriages to find one thats not a beat mess. Drop in for a quick in and out. Not much else.

Had almost everything I went for. Decent sales with the card. I like the produce section here as it has more selection than the Kings Hwy location. Im so pleased for the employees winning their battle with corporate,so a BIG THANK YOU shout out to all you hard working Stop & Shop employees!

I like Stop and Shop, this atmosphere is friendly and positive. They often have decent sales and some items are cheaper here than other places.However they could improve, the prices are rather high, where Ive gone to other super markets and what price Stop and Shop has as a sale, is the everyday price at another place.I do have to say the store is clean and the employees are always friendly though which is nice.In conclusion, I think they could improve on their prices a bit, but the atmosphere of this specific location is really good and I recommend it.

Cleanest, most well stocked and organized grocery store in the area.

Little selection as compared to other stop and shops, or surrounding grocery stores. Staff is far from friendly and helpful. I was given attitude for the self checkout machine registering an extra product in the bag and all of my bags were searched. I would recommend traveling a bit farther to a surrounding grocery store.

Id just like to say whoever was working at the deli section this morning was incredibly rude. I watched her look me in the face and talk bad about me to another associate. It was a white woman with blonde hair, Older lady. I was very disappointed a stop and shop associate would do that to a customer... Another thing I was upset by was the toilet paper was supposed to be limit two per customer and people were walking out with three huge things of it. Thats not fair in my opinion.I do plan on calling and speaking with someone about the rude lady I encountered today because it was very uncalled for

CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES ON EVERYTHING !!! Especially shelf life stuff. I bought a lot of things yesterday and found out they are expired. Now I have to go back to exchange it. Very inconvenient !

Looong lines, minimally acceptable quality products. It used to be better but after the recent strike it’s gone downhill and hasn’t recovered.

The atmosphere is really nice and friendly here but there seems to always be only a few cash registers open. The people working them dont always ask you for your stop n shop card, so you get stuck paying full price.I also noticed that just today, the woman there scanned one of my purchases twice, so I had to pay for two when I only got one. I wish I could go back and have my money returned to me but Im sure they wouldnt believe me.

All the freezers were broken so there was no frozen food items. Once again looks like Im going to Market Basket. I should just listen to my husband and stop going to Stop & Shop.

Just wanted to drop a note about the Stop and Shop in Fairhaven, MA. They allow people to shop without masks and I was told by the General Manager, Blair, he was instructed not to confront patrons not wearing masks. I also pointed out to him all the employees not properly wearing masks. He also said that the Fairhaven Police said they would not respond if they were called about an issue with someone not complying with wearing a mask inside. I called the police department which said I was misinformed by Stop and Shop.

Much better this time. The other day the younger attendant was there and she poked her head out and stated she wasnt open. They open at 7:00 am it was 30 seconds until the hour. I reported it to a manager and also thanks for tying up 8 spaces for online pick up. Havent seen anyone there yet!

Its fine but often times, the front-end is understaffed. I have to rely on self-checkout more than I really want. But the rest of the store is fine with a decent selection of foods.

It was the morning before Thanksgiving and the store was not too busy but busy enough, they had everything I needed and the staff was pleasant content and more than happy to help. I think thats the stop & shop I was raised with and the stop & shop Ill continue to go with. Five stars

Its a grocery store. Its huge. When I come here I want to spend a day because in New York City we have tiny stores, rotting produce and deli counters that look as sanitary as a swamp. This grocery is awesome.

Store usually is stocked however it seems what I want/need is always sold out or they arent carrying it anymore. Prices are very high in comparison to the other grocery stores in my area. Unfortunately I try to visit stop & shop for fill in items only when I have to. Staff could try to be a bit more friendly as well!

I used to like this store, but its been a miserable place to shop ever since the Shaws nearby closed. It is always crowded now, especially on weekends - to the point where I will buy food at a gas station rather than go to this store on a Saturday. The employees always seem exhausted and stressed out, and this is sometimes reflected in the way they treat customers. To be fair, they have their hands full just keeping the shelves stocked. Its not their fault that the store is too small for the number of customers they serve, but it would help if they were adequately staffed. Its pretty frustrating when theres a problem at the self-checkout (which cant seem to cope with coupons) and you have to wait and wait and wait for someone to come over and help you.The management does not keep up with the kinds of things theyd have to if they had any competition. For example, there was a malfunctioning light in the parking lot for weeks (maybe its still broken), leaving part of the lot in darkness. This was really obnoxious around the holidays, when the parking lot was getting full and people were driving around trying to find good spaces. Not a fun place to walk around in the dark.Hopefully a competitor will move into the old Shaws. That will ease up the crowding at Stop & Shop and force management to step up their game. Until then, I will go to this store as seldom as possible.

Im not particularly a fan of the Stop and Shop chain. Ive known employees and even management and they never seemed to happy with their jobs. Their prices even on Stop and Shop brands seemed to be a bit higher then other store brands (even some name brands).I wish theyd take a page out of the Market Basket play book and open more isles instead of making people choose between self check-out or long lines.Todays visit was due to crunch time at the holidays and even though there was one particular employ that was very helpful it will take me more than that then to get me to shop there on a regular basis.A few things from today...Unpriced party platters at the deli. (Different sizes too.)Not enough employees to help people find things in the store. Its the holidays and people were aimlessly wandering around looking for items.Long lines at the checkout. Maybe half the cashiers were open. Staff up S&S!And last but not least I couldnt find any Christmas cookies! At all! Not in the bakery section, cookie isle, or holiday isle.Speaking of the holiday isle... The Valentines stuff was already out! Come on already.Stop and Shop is the store to go-to if you have lots of money and plenty of time and you dont care if you get everything you want without having to go to a second store.2 stars just because the 1 employee helped me and was friendly. (He didnt seem to be too happy though.)Ill be keeping my business further down the road at Market Basket. Its too bad too because S&S is right down the street from me.Happy Holidays!!

I was looking for the st Louisspareribs that easy on sale for $1.99lb and in the place where they end supposed to be was stop and shop brand spareribs for $2.99 Lb which shouldnt have been in there because people will be buying them thinking they are the ones on sale for $1.99 seeing that is what the sign said above itThe store employee was very helpful when I asked him about them and did go looking for them for me even tho he worked another depsrtment

Selection OK. They dont carry things like rice milk + certain international foods, but everything we buy is usually fresh. Its conveniently closer than the larger grocery store and I hope they stay around.

People are very nice and helpful! Dairy guy actually stopped what he was doing to fetch heavy whipping cream for us......during the Thanksgiving rush!!!

Excellent mileage with this gas! I use it all the time! The Dartmouth Street Stop & Shop gas is much cheaper than Fairhaven. Why?

Clean - but look out for the floor cleaning robot lol. Definitely took me by surprise.

They had what I needed, and no lines, and used my gas points at the gas station out front!

Nothing ever rings up the right price, spend more time reviewing and fixing my receipt than I do shopping...
