I went into the store looking for a rocker. I found a clean Canadian rocker for 12.99. I asked for help and Jamal came out. Friendly smiling and he gave me the slip. Next I go to Chrissy the cashier, fun and made me laugh. Onto the pick up area. I met Chris. He told me he couldn’t put the rocker in my little Corolla but he told me how to turn to get it in. Thank you that helped a lot. Please tell you workers what a great experience I had meeting them all. The rocker is awesome!

I just called this location to see if they had any fake knife props for halloween in stock Because I’m having trouble finding any in store and I spoke with a man who couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful He went and looked on the shelves and found they had only one left in stock And he asked for my phone number because he wanted to send me a picture of what they had so I didn’t need to waste my time going there if it wasn’t the correct thing, As it turns out it was not the right one So I am still on the hunt however this man saved me a trip down there and also was extremely friendly and went out of his way to help me and that is rare to find in customer service nowadays.

Always with the vintage finds at Savers! Check out these awesome pieces of furniture they had this week.A couple of them are Danish mid century modern, another is a retro piece by Lane. The fourth, I couldnt find a makers mark and the quality was poor so I didnt bring it home. Left the Lane behind too.The Danish Mersman pieces came home with me though!

As with a lot of the older buildings in this area and a lot of thrift stores it could definitely be cleaner. That being said Ive never gotten anything unusable or undesirable in terms of being sold dirty and the staff here is always so friendly and helpful

I will never donate to this store again. When a female senior citizen is struggling to donate a table and chair set that they will make good money on and I’m told “Just put it over there” I almost put it back in my car. They will never get another donation from me!

I used to love this place. Great spot for thrift shopping and finding great buys. Lately though I am finding that the quality isnt they way it used to be. And the prices are a lot higher than they were so I dont shop here too often anymore. Probably still be able to find something though just not what it used to be.

Colleen (manager) so rude, I went to the Fall River location Yesterday to do a little Christmas shopping after dealing with her I walked right out and will never return again. She is a walking monster to the customers and employees it is very sad to see I felt horrible for all of them that have to dealWith her daily I will not recommend to anyone! Unless the store fixes the current situation with that aweful angry woman they placed in a management position I will Never set foot in this place again I have been coming here for years with my family and we will not be coming anymore i would rather take the extra trip to providence or New Bedford.

What can I say, I love a good thrift shop and Savers is one of the better ones around. I mostly go for books for my daughter but have also found some deals for myself among the typical bric-a-brac, pots and pans and clothing. Prices are average (and not always bargains) so as usual it pays to know the value of the item youre thinking of purchasing before thinking youve found a good deal that turns out to be just so-so.

Love this store. They do not provide plastic bags anymore. They have cloth bags for sale or you can bring your own bags

Youve really gotta dig to find some good deals. Sometimes they act like they know how much something is worth and then price the item ridiculously high. I found some old Wizard of Oz lamp that was selling for like $40 on eBay and they wanted $60 or $70. Either way its worth a look if you have the time to wade through the crap.

I have not really had a great experience with this savers. Its in a kind of sketchy area, coming from a guy who used to live in the city. The variaty is quite limited, as it is about only clothing products, a bit of furniture, a few aisles of random things, and a wall of miscellaneous items. I collect antique type things, retro game stuff, etc. Not anything I thought was that interesting in the times Ive been here. Ive only found around two things I liked, both being WAY overpriced. And for the electronic section, its so pathetic, that I wouldnt even call it one. I dont think its fair to call two microwaves and a cheap printer an electronic section. I have had a good experience with the savers in New Bedford, MA, as they have way more variaty, in a more welcoming area, in a way bigger store. I would recommend the one in New Bedford, as it is a way better store. I dont reccomend this store unless your a fan of clothing or furniture. If anything else, go to New Bedford. They have everything.

Cool finds

I donate to this location because it’s the only place that I know. The experience of donating here leaves a bad taste in my mouth every time! These people are ungrateful and NEVER say thank you. No one cares to help when dropping off donations and I have never been offered a receipt indicating the value of the donation. The aura of this place disgusts me!

Never full price for clothing and accessories. At this secondhand store you will find brand new clothes too. From clothes to furnishings, Savers is the best.

I always find great stuff here. Some things I do find to be a tad over priced for being second hand. It seems like they go by whatever the brand is then jack the price.

I havent visited in a while, but today I found the store to be cleaner and organized. I love finding things that I can use.

Well stocked second hand store. Can be pricey with some jeans going for 9.99 or a dress for 12.99. Book selection runs the gamut, but its based on list price. Would live to see buck a book days. You have to treasure hunt for bargains, but theyre there. Dressing rooms usually messy. I wouldnt go barefoot in there. Staff friendly and plently of people watching opportunities.

Sometimes you find great things at great prices. Some items are priced higher than they used to be but you can still pay less than buying new for new or almost new stuff.

I bought 4 CDs for less than half the price of 1. I always find something here.

Book prices are normally good but on days like today (May 23) when they are 50% off (on rare occasion they are even $1 each) I cant resist adding to my voluminous collection that I wont live long enough to finish. And you never know what youll find.Update: 11/2020 I dont know who stocks the book department but, having been to all the locations within at least 30 miles in RI and Ma., the Fall River location is by far the worst with respect to badly classifying titles. I spend so much time taking easily identifiable Fiction titles from the non-fiction aisle and bringing them one or two aisles over to the various fiction sections and vice versa. Today and in each of my previous 3 trips Ive transported over a dozen (at which point I stopped looking).It may not seem like a big deal to those who arent readers but when you are its very frustrating. Nevermind separating into the various front shelf categories like history, biography, humor...etc. I can deal with that though the other locations seem to handle that well too.

Today is Columbus day and the store celebrated with a 50% off sale. I noticed prices were raised on items that were normally lower and the aisles are too narrow.

This store gets everything from donations. There prices do not reflect this. They are making a huge profit on the donations that they pay absolutely nothing for.
