Great place with great service! Definitely worth a visit.

It was a very exciting trip out there to the Welburn Gourd Farm. The kids had a great time it was an adventure for them. Never knew that there were so many different kinds and sizes and so close to me instead of getting it from the islands.

We loved Welburn Gourd Farm. We stayed in their 3br house for a wedding. It was fantastic!

The Welburn Gourd Farm is very unique! Its located at the end of a long road, but the trip is worth it. The gourds are sold mainly for art pieces. There is a small shop which sells a few art pieces and supplies and has demonstrations on video. It is staffed by very friendly young lady. Plan a visit if youre in the area.

Was looking for a new hobby and came across this place online. We drove down with my daughter and her girls. What a great place. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. We bought some gourds, paint, cleaning tools and it was not expensive. So we are working on our gourds and have a new hobby. I will definitely be back to purchase more after I finish the ones I am working on.

I felt like I had died & gone to gourd heaven....once I finally got there.I took a wrong turn on the Tejana Truck Route & ended up coming into the farm from a back dirt road that I can only describe as heavy 4WD terrain thru a scene from Deliverance.Theres a 3 way white wood marker that has Tejana on two posts & hidden from the straight way is the other that reads Via Volcano. Go onto Via Volcano! Dont turn right on Tejana, youll end up at a community mailbox where an old man will tell you to keep going....& youll end up on the road to Deliverance. I must say though that when I finally had signal again & I was able to get thru to the farm, they offered to come meet me & to remain open. The staff were amazing, a young gentleman and two young ladies. One of the staff even showed me the correct road into the farm when I left, by having me follow her out...that road was beautiful, & paved. Just call ahead & be sure to take a physical map with you for when you lose signal. My thanks to their wonderful staff.

Great place for gourds and related supplies.

When you are in need of gourds, this is definitely the place to go. All sizes and shapes to choose from. Prices are very reasonable. Grab a cart and start going through rows and rows of gourds. They have a few that are cleaned as well, for a higher price. From mini jewelry gourds to huge gourds, you will find one perfect for your project!

You cant go wrong going there to buy or just look. The people there were just great. Nice gift shop. They even have gourds designed by Pamela redhawk. I collect her gourds and paintings. Never will you see so many different gourds in one place...bring a lunch.

Very friendly and helpful people. They have thousands of gourds of all sizes and shapes. All the dyes and equipment needed to create work9of art, also.

I have only been doing gourd art for a couple years but thanks to Welburn Gourd Farms I have created some amazing works of art and am having my first gallery showings this summer.The gourds I receive are thick, beautifully shaped and nicely marked.I usually use the gourd dyes but on occasion have used the transparent acrylics...both are very easy to apply and are quite forgiving.Love the free videos on the site for instruction on using the products and giving ideas for designs.This is so much fun!!!!All I really want to say is THANK YOU WELBURN GOURD FARMS

Went here for an interview. Had a ton of gourds to choose from and a lot of neat stuff to paint and decorate them. If you like gourd painting this is an excellent place to go!

The drive to the farm is a dizzy experience, but totally worth it. Expansive selection, and competitive prices. Cant wait to return to get more gourds!

I loved this place. Peaceful. Fun to get creative looking thru what must be a million gourds. Friendly lady there gavecus lots of tips.

Very interesting shop with finished and unfinished gourds for sale. Crafters are extremely creative in using the many sizes and shapes of the gourds grown on the farm.

Just received my order for 3 large standard canteen gourds. Contents had four gourds, all medium size, one with a structural crack and one marked free practice gourd. Im assuming they sent the free one to make up for the cracked one. I contacted customer service, sent them photos and received a quick call back with a return number to ship gourds back. Ive already paid $8.00 shipping charges but have to pay out-of-pocket the cost of returning them.Ive ordered large standard canteen gourds from Welburn before (I make gourd purses) and the previous gourds were much larger and had NO structural cracks so I was very disappointed in the recent shipment.I wish Welburn would ship what they advertise and not send substandard products with a gift to make up for it and then force buyers to pay shipping charges to return what was not ordered!!!!!!!!

I can’t visit this magnificent place. Im from Russia. There is no opportunity to come. I have great respect for people who are engaged in such a business 👍 grow pumpkins !!!
