I just purchased a Toyota Corolla 2008. I found Bryan and Maria very helpful. They took the car to my house so I could test drive without going to the dealership. Then when I wanted the car, they took it to the mechanic which I chose. When the mechanic found problems, they corrected them, including installing a strut which they said might not be necessary. Bryan said it was to give me peace of mind.Then they took the car to be inspected in DC because I said I was worried about the DC inspection process. They accepted credit cards which helped me get points. Bryan and Maria are dedicated to knowing their cars. Bryan told me how he started at age 18, made a high salary at a young age and stuck with the Business until 20 years later he owned part of it. I feel very confident they will help me if there are issues in the future. They are a small dealership and not corporate. I recommend them.

I quoted for the repair of scratches on the rear bumper here back to the 2017. And I did not accept the repair. However, when I sell the car this year, I found they report the damage to Carfax. Carfax shows the car was damaged on their report. I have never authorized them to do so. Be aware when you quote or repair here.

I have zero issues with this dealer. Bryan sold me my 2005 Subaru Forester XT and its a great car Ive had no issues. Bryan kept it real with me I didnt feel like he was Bsing me. Told me all the issues with the car when I asked, when I heard a sound in the steering column in the car he had it looked into immediately. Bryan was very helpful in explaining all the ins and outs when it came to me registering my car in Washington dc. This was a very pleasant car buying experience. Maria was also very helpful when it came to me having questions with my title.

Ive been taking my BMWs here for years. I called Rich at about 4 pm one day. Our Jeep was overheating, and we were supposed to use it to move my daughter to NC the next day. Rich said, bring it in. They took it right in, not even seeming to mind that I unthinkingly had brought the Jeep in with the U-Haul trailer still attached, creating havoc in their yard. The Jeep was fixed, ready to go by about 11 the next day. Outstanding.

These guys are great. Not only did they come down on the price of the RAV4 to better fit my budget, but they also took care of a minor cosmetic issue on the doorframe between the time I bought the car and the time I picked it up a couple of hours later(even though I was planning on doing it myself after I got home). I had him inspect a vehicle and then perform repairs for any potential issues after telling me what was going to need to be done in the near future and further down the road. He even came in a little under the initial estimate he quoted.

I worked with Bryan and Maria in the sales department to purchase a 2007 Saab 9-3. I was in and out in less than an hour, they even made a couple simple repairs on some things I found on my test drive and provided a free second key since the car only came with one. IM Autohaus exhibited very professional behavior throughout the entire buying process. No questions asked, they let me inspect and test drive each vehicle at my leisure. At no point in time did I feel pressured to make my decision. At the negotiation table, my dealer, Bryan, sat down and explained exactly what we would be paying for and how everything would work. This dealership does not haggle, or at least not with me: your mileage may vary.Something I found interesting was that they let me test drive their cars without a dealer sitting right next to me. This gave me ample opportunities to see if the car was up to my expectations: without the hassle of having a dealer right there.According to Bryan, the cars are priced according to their actual value. Interestingly, this car was priced fairly within my expectations. So perhaps the no haggling clause makes sense.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Some advice I would give would be to bring a checklist so that you can check out the car inside and out: They give you the time, but you have to have the tools and the knowledge. to truly take advantage of this.

They were extremely helpful when we had a car trucked directly to them from Wisconsin, repairing and inspecting it and getting it legal in Virginia. We bought a used Volvo in 2018 for very reasonable price, however, eventually learned the engine had not been well cared for and needed to be replaced. Going through the dealer to obtain a rebuilt engine would have cost much more than the car was worth so we looked into alternatives. Richard at IM Autohaus did a great job locating a used engine and installed in our car for a reasonable price, and now the car runs better than ever.

IM Autohaus is fantastic. Their staff provides great customer service for both routine maintenance and bigger issues. I have a SAAB 9-3 and I know there is no one more knowledgeable in the surrounding area than these guys. They are not cheap, but they are not overpriced either. I would call it reasonably priced. And I feel like they always give suitable options when they can to minimize the financial impacts of various major and minor auto repairs. I have been a repeat customer of theirs for 10 years and will continue to be.

Took my Saab in for an airbag recall and the staff at IM Autohaus were great. They quickly replaced the parts, identified a couple of other things that I should be aware of (brakes, minor leak, etc). They didnt pressure me to get repairs done, they explained the issues and even gave the car a quick wash. The waiting area was clean and well maintained with a TV and lots of magazines. The restroom was also clean. If I didnt live 90 minutes away I would go to these guys for all my car needs!

I had a wonderful experience here with my BMW. I had an issue with a liner coming loose near my front tire. It turned out to be a much larger issue. I received excellent service at a very reasonable cost. The gentleman, Richard, was extremely professional and thorough when describing the issue.

These guys fixed a rust problem that was plaguing both my driver and passenger doors. Somehow matched the paint perfectly! I’m so impressed. All at an incredibly reasonable price. I have come here since Autohaus has opened. These guys are great. They listen intently to the customer and, as a woman, I never feel like they are trying to take advantage. Trust is important. They have a comfortable waiting area with a good TV. Only problem is that if you are a tea drinker, you have to bring your own bag.

My husband and I live in New Hampshire and, thanks to Bryan, were able to purchase an awesome 2004 LR Discovery whose frame isnt rusted and rotted from all the snow -and salted roads- native to our New England winters. The entire process was speedy and seamless-- and done remotely! Bryan is transparent and direct in his business dealings and even offered to drop off- and pick up -the Disco from a nearby LR Dealership for a pre-purchase inspection. If that doesnt scream honesty, Im not sure what does! My background: I know about cars. I grew up in Los Angeles and Ive been an owner of at least 20 cars - many of them used and most of them German. My choice of IM was random. I was actually looking for another business nearby, and I was in a hurry because of final days to get the DMV inspection passed.From the initial phone call with David who offered me an early morning visit, I can only say it was the smoothest first experience with a service shop that I have ever had. I liked Richard (later I found out he is the owner) and his very direct no nonsense way. I liked Jack who is the cool dog that I noticed because of his special breed and I liked David who is multilingual. The entire experience was professional. The work was done efficiently, I left without a feeling that I got screwed, and I made a decision that this is where I want to return for additional work on my now older but still decent condition MB.Relationships and marriages sometimes they dont evolve well, but an unforgettably good start can happen and make a person feel that this is going to be a long lasting friendship. Outstanding! My 2001 SAAB was brought back to life by this Shop after being in retirement for six (6) months. They took the time to give my car the once over, were honest about what needed to be fixed now and what could wait for late and prices were fair. I have had no problems with my car since. I had my cars exploding airbag replaced at IM Autohaus. They were very professional, quick, courteous, and Dave went out of his way to make the replacement happen before I left for a long road trip. Their waiting area is pleasant and clean with wifi. They made it very quick and painless to have the airbag replaced. I would go back to them for any work my car needed.

In late August 2016, we took our Honda coupe in for repair/paint of the hood and to have the car detailed. Richard and his staff did a splendid and timely job, and my 7-year old car looks like new! Highly recommend this shop!

2008 saab 9-3, 90k miles with engine problems that no one else seemed to be able to resolve. Ive recently relocated to northern Virginia and reviews on this company seemed good so i gave it a try.Could not have been happier with the results. Blair kept me informed with every update over the period of the mechanics assessment. Four phone calls to address issues with proposed resolution and cost. Also indicated what was critical and/or could wait another 10k miles before addressing. No upselling here, just old fashioned honesty. Wow! Wow! Bloody awesome fella.The mechanic, Sean obviously knew exactly what he was doing. What had previously been believed to be a fuel pump problem was in fact a single spark plug. Ask for Sean if you own a Saab. We saved over a $1000 by getting the correct diagnosis by guys that know and understand Saab.Dont waste your time or money going anywhere else unless you have time/money to burn.

David and his crew were incredibly helpful in getting our old Volvo back on the road after a bad fender-bender during a cross-country trip, and obviously knew the cars in and out. Just what youd want from an independent shop!

I went to IM Autohaus to look at a used Honda CRV that was advertised on their website. I was told over the phone that there was nothing wrong with the car, except the brake pads which had been replaced. I talked at length with the salesman about how the car was up to date, had been in no accidents, and it was ready to drive off the lot. I got there, and it looked fine, and I took it to my mechanic to look over. My mechanic found a number of issues with the car. The wiper blades were broken, the air filter had never been changed and was filthy, the rear bumper had been crunched up into the body of the car, the weather stripping in the trunk was all off causing water damage in the rear, the front pads were at 90% capacity sure, but the rotors were completely rusted through, there was also oil leaking into the engine that had been WIPED AWAY so you would not know it was leaking until after driving the car for a number of miles. Basically - this business is full of liars, and they wasted my time and $100 getting the car looked at when they could have just been honest that it needs work, and I could have been on my way. When I told my mechanic that it had passed inspection, he said sure because they do inspections there. My mechanic said it was illegal to sell a car this beat up, and it would never pass inspection. I was told a completely different story by IM Autohaus, and do not recommend you going there ever. For anything. CROOKS.

Every member of the team provides exceptional, friendly service. They provide free metro transport service, work with your schedule to make the experience as convenient as possible for you, and are incredibly trustworthy. Its an old car, so when they find more wrong with it than I expected during a given service call, they help me prioritize the repairs that are most important for the safety of the car, those which can be deferred to the next visit, and those which I could do myself (i.e. change out wiper blades). They also provide budget estimates in order for me to authorize the repairs and have even beaten those estimates when the repairs take less time than they expect.

Bryan and his staff have made my recent purchase the best car buying experience ever. They were easily accessible, handled every problem, and answered every question. Highly recommend!

IM Autohaus saved me $3,000 relative to what my dealership quoted me. I was originally told I would need a very expensive part and IM Autohaus went with the simpler / cheaper solution of cleaning the part I already had (it was filthy from years of dirt and oil) to find that there was no structural damage. If I dont understand the work needed, they take the time to explain the problem (sometimes multiple times) until I understand the solution. For the first time in 14 years, the SAAB wouldnt start this week, and when I called for emergency service (even though they were fully booked) the owner, Richard, offered to fit me in. He is a class act. In addition to SAAB, they also work on BMW, Volvo and others -- I have recommended IM Autohaus widely and have received nothing but the same feedback I am providing today. When strangers compliment me on my car, I tell them I owe 14 years of nearly flawless handling to the team at IM Autohaus. Im hoping I can hold on to this car for another 14 years. CVilsack, WDC

We purchased a car with them about 2 years ago, a few months ago we noticed the sunroof was leaking, we brought it in, they charged us $650 to fix it. A month later, the sunroof was leaking again, we brought it in again, they claimed it was a different issue (even though it was leaking in the exact same location) and tried to charge us $1700 to fix it - even though they said they had resolved it in the previous fix.We said no at this point, when we went to pick up the car it was ABSOLUTELY destroyed. The sunroof originally leaked into the footwell, but when we picked it up it was stained all around the sunroof, they had pulled out the fabric on the ceiling, and now the top ceiling portion is hanging down. We called them back, and they refuse to fix it.Its absolutely disgusting and dishonest, instead of fixing our issue they made it worse, then have even refused to fix what they did. I would never bring your car here, or trust them with anything. We are going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, but this is your warning via social media.

Awesome Service from Rick. Always willing to answer my questions and happily allow me to tackle things myself if I am feeling brave. Also, they never push unnecessary work on to you - in fact, they are as pleased as you are to see your car is in perfect working order. They even let me borrow a for sale car as they had no loaners in!

I have used IM Autohaus for several years now since VOB Saab closed its doors. The service and repair work they provide has always been fast and efficient. It is worth my drive from Southern Maryland to bring my 2010 9-3X to them to keep it in top running condition.

The only one shop in DC metropolitan area that can do professional job for Saab. They are honest and nice people and do not ask you to do unnecessary service.

A truly wonderful experience. Bryan was knowledgeable and easy to work with. No typical BS. Just straight-forward friendly service. In the future I will go to IM Autohaus first.
