This place is so cute! Theres craft beers downstairs for sell, upstairs is so cozy in the restaurant, outside are additional seating in the beer garden. The menu is affordable and I can say the chef is amazing. I started with chili and ended with a shrimp salad. Im not disappointed. They also brunch on the weekend. It ends at 2pm.The location is great,Its right off 66, if you are va and want to explore a new menu. Check out Dominion Wine and Beer. Its definitely a hidden gem.

Amazing locale in Falls Church with a great selection of beers and wines. Not to mention the very large outdoor beer garden in the back parking lot. Dominion is also very family friendly. Your as likely to find couples as you are families all enjoying a beautiful day in Falls Church.

My husband and I have loved Dominion and it’s been our go-to place to unwind and get a date night away from the kids- we always loved the staff, food, and service! We had not been there since prior to COVID and just went tonight. We understand that the staff obviously changed but service was ABHORRENT per my husband’s words- they were so focused on cleaning up the dishes and did not attend to us at all- they messed up our bill and because we are honest we actually asked them to charge us more since they didn’t include our drink. Coming from the small community feel and connection that the previous bar experience provided we were extremely disappointed to the point we would not go back and this used to be our jam spot.! So sad Dominion fell to COVID as well! Had hoped they would have survived it but this new staff is not going to help out Dominion in our opinion!

Go here for the beer, great service, and fun environment - outside tent a bonus for COVID risk mitigation. Food is also pretty good. No kids menu.

Very nice outdoor beer garden seating and menu. The food was very good as was the service. I had the smoked bratwurst and my wife had the smoked turkey sandwich, Both were very good. They have a good selection of local beers on tap. Will definitely go back.

We love this place. We drive very far to still frequent this location. The staff, the food, the selection have always been great since they first opened. Today, was way off (service wiSe only!).For the first time, today (Monday) is an off day. Food was great; however, after 15 minutes my wine didn’t arrive. Our tab always exceeds 120+ and tip 25%+ for the team because y’all do an amazing job! Today, well my alcohol didn’t arrive, the food runners came out 1 entree per food runner person (3 people on staff?) and drinks kept flowing for everyone else. Food runners were not very engaged and moved very slow for the level of capacity (outside) at 60 percent capacity. We said thank you for food delivery but zero response. Drink runners, as always, were on point and had that sense of urgency we always observe of this hard working staff.Not sure what happened today for a semi-busy day… new team members please keep in mind those returning customers. We hope the new members working today grow to learn the dominion all star attitude and service energy.We gladly support your local business, applaud the all star team that’s been here since opening and have enjoyed new team members that make the commute to a great place. Hoping today was a one - off.

Dominion Wine and Beer is located in Falls Church VA. They carry a nice selection of craft beer and wine. Food items include Appetizers, Salads, Burgers and Sandwiches. There is ample outdoor dining under cover. Worth a visit.

The apps were delicious- especially the Brussel sprouts. Also, I got the #9 beer, something with pumpkin that was 8% ABV, and it was delicious. I got the Veggie burger - it was ok. I have yet to be impressed with any restaurants house made Veggie burger. I kind of wish they just used an impossible beef patty, or even a beyond burger. But, other than that, solid spot.

We came here expecting happy hour prices from 4-7, but we’re surprised when the bill came and they said it ran from 4-6.Dominion — Please update your happy hour hours so it’s not misleading to other patrons!

Best beer store in the area! I’m a lover of sours (and recently got my husband on board), and it’s hard to find a decent selection of sours. Their selection of sours, and their overall selection of beer for that matter, is outstanding. We have only made our way here twice, but it will definitely be the place where we buy beer from now on. Their staff is SO HELPFUL and knowledgeable, which makes this place that much better. We haven’t had the chance to grab drinks or food here, but plan on doing so sooner rather than later.

We’ve been coming here since they have opened. The drink runners are always extremely polite and have great people skills. The food runners are extremely unprofessional (lately) and do not speak when spoken to on our last visit. We say thank you and they grunt and give dirty looks and walk away. We came on 9/06/2021(labor day) at 6:00pm. Our server was new and was trying to tell my wife she couldn’t add a protein to her salad as she replied to my wife’s request, “ yea we don’t do that here” with regard to the requested protein. We love the old staff that was there.

Fantastic beer and wine selection. Food arrived on time and was delicious. Friendliest staff on hand. I would give a full 5 stars but there was this one server in particular that would ignore my table and go on to do something else. He couldve preoccupied with something else which I can understand, but when my friend waved him down for assistance, my table would be ignored this one particular server. Other than that the experience was great.

There are definitely nicer ways to convey changes in policy - Im certain I used to be able to taste on the bottom level and split four packs. Im not a fussy beer drinker, and I love going to small businesses and picking out a bunch of singles to try new brewers and types of beer. I was floored when I was told they dont break up packs when I wanted to buy 2 each of Commonwealth and Oozlefinch brews Ive never seen before (how do they get the individual beers on their shelves if they dont break up packs?).Hoping my last couple of visits were just unlucky but Ill probably stick to Norms in Vienna for the friendly people and beer selection.

Great evening, happy hour, and late night (10:00 and on) scene! I appreciate the hosts for serving drinks while handling a lot of guests waiting for their tables. We didn’t wait long ( l maybe 29 minutes total) for a table for two at peak Friday night rush. Very worth the wait for consistent service, great food, and a lovely June Falls Church evening!

Stopped by a few weeks ago. Ordered some great out-of-state beer for pickup. Decided to stay and enjoy some on-site food and adult beverages. Awesome place. Reminds me a lot of Downtowm Crown in Gaithersburg.

This place was a fantastic find. It has a beer and wine store.... Buuuttt, if you go around back theres a place to drink the beer and wine outside with a great food menu. It was all outside (not sure what they do when it rains?) There is a tent to sit under that could handle some rain. Ate the ribeye and cheese for dinner, which was pretty tasty. I think my husbands burger tasted better though. Great beer selection. Our server recommended an app, called DigitalPour, to check how much was left in the kegs because, of course, the beer we wanted was tapped out as soon as we got there. It gives you a live update of what they have on tap. Overall, great experience and food.

Bottom Line for me: Good people watching, decent - albeit expensive - beers, eat at home first and dont expect much from the service.Went for a few beers and some food after looking at their menu online. We came at about 8pm on Sunday and there was a good crowd, but no wait. We originally say under one of the tents, but moved since the table was right next to the trash can and by 8pm in the heat it smelled pretty bad. Beers came quick, I assume theyre pre-poured through the night, but they were ok. We got the steak and cheese sandwiches which lack a degree of description - the beef wasnt the thinly sliced beef youd expect on a cheese steak nor was it strips of ribeye like you might expect as well. It looked like someone put beef and onions into a blender and pulsed until it was just shy of being finely ground. End result was a strange consistency that was very greasy and lacked much flavor. We waited nearly 35 minutes for our check and were about to ask for a manager when our waiter finally reappeared and we cashed out. We may return just for the beer and some people watching, but $70 for three beers and two soggy sandwiches seems a little steep.

Pretty disappointing. I called twice to confirm they had the ribeye and was told that they do both times. Was excited to come here for my birthday dinner but when I got there they told me they didn’t have it. Food is otherwise good but after spending 50 dollars for 2 salads and a beer I’m on my way to the grocery store to get my steak :/

Cannot think of a better place to find the best beers in the area. Specifically some of the ones you wouldnt expect a fine. Theres also a very nicely managed selection of wine. And if you arent sure what you were in the mood for, just ask for a suggestion and you will get a great one from an attentive staff.

This place has a great selection of craft beer that you wont find at a spot like Total Wine. Was especially happy to see that they carried a solid variety from Commonwealth Brewery and some other micros in Virginia. I didnt go upstairs so cant speak to that piece, but the wine and beer selection is eclectic so hats off for that. Im knocking off a star because the service was pretty nonexistent until I paid and even then it was mediocre at best. No one spoke to me until I paid and while I was browsing there wasnt another soul in the place. Im not needy, but personable service def helps. Ill still be back though. No hard feelings.

Really great all around - nice selection of beers and wine. The food upstairs is spectacular. I only with they had a bigger space and more seats! Today we popped in a left because it was mobbed and we didn’t want to be smashed along a wall trying to eat.

This is a top notch shop! I dont know how they get so many beers of great quality and almost no fluff, but they do. This shop typically has beers that never make it to some of the other notable shops in the area also.They have a handful of draft lines with beers every day that rotate also. And they opened a new bar upstairs that has an even more impressive selection of brews on draft. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

Wonderful little place, but I do mean little. They use the shelves they have well. The selection of beers is diverse and they even fill growlers. Half the shop is dedicated to wine so I assume the selection is just as good. Im at this place all the time and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is I wish the store was bigger!

This is unequivocally the finest wine retailer in both Arlington and Falls Church. Bar none. Selection. Knowledgeable staff. Oh did I mention selection? Surprisingly good food for a beer and wine specialty establishment. We enjoyed our food. Our server could have been better. She was abrupt, didnt explain the menus well and was not attentive at all.

Excellent recommendations by staff. Growler prices seem very reasonable. Staff seem very knowledgeable and ready to help. They even helped with bringing everything to my car. This place is definitely going to be my first go to for trying new beers. Very convenient location in Falls Church. Lots of wine as well which I didnt take a look at.

I love this place. They have a great selection, and the staff is really helpful. They offer great recommendations when Im looking to try something new. They have free beer tastings on Fridays after work, and wine on Saturdays. Theres a really nice sense of community, and everyone is friendly and happy to be there. Love it!

We came first during soft opening and the place was already packed and food/drinks were great, service consistent. We came back recently on a Thursday night for some dinner and drinks. It was packed and super lively! Always appreciate the lighting in here - its dim enough for an ambiance but still enough light that you dont need a flashlight to read the menu. We tried a few items on the menu we had not tried previously. Definitely order the 16oz ribeye, its really stunning, especially at $37 AND its from the McLean Butcher! Talk about quality. The philly cheesesteaks were good, all the food is just great. Service is fast and friendly. And the rotating flavors of ice cream sandwiches are still delicious and creative with the brownie sandwich covers. Still solid and going strong!

Let me tell you if I had to pick a restaurant thats my soulmate its this place. Its the hidden gem you didnt know you needed to check out! I live in Fairfax and Im thinking I would move just to be closer to this spot. Okay so to start off you walk in and its craft beers on the left and wines on your right. They also have a small bar downstairs with craft beers on tap. FYI any of the 36 BEERS on tap you can get canned RIGHT there on the spot for you. The only ones that you cant get canned are because of rules the specific breweries have; in short if the brewery will allow them Dominion will can your drafts. Also you heard me right they have 36 amazing and rare craft beers on tap. The other bar is upstairs to get there go by the wine and there is a tiny stair case on the left. Once you get up there it is so modern and fresh upstairs. I could literally see myself chillng there for hours. The staff is also super attentive and already knows me on a first name basis after serving me ONCE. They are very knowledgeable on beer recommendations. I enjoyed the lamb burger for lunch which I got with a side salad which had no additional up charge! The burger was better than I could have imagined and it had a yogurt sauce and a homemade not-too-spicy harissa sauce that was busting with flavor. If you havent been you seriously need to check it out ESPECIALLY if you like beer or even just GOOD food! Ah Im completely sold.

Ive been going here since they opened several years ago because after my first visit it became very apparent they are the best beer and wine shop in the area. Sure Total might be bigger and have a larger selection but when it comes to customer service Total does not compare.The staff is very knowledgeable and also very friendly. They do a great job with their selections of beer and wine which they sell and their prices are competitive with Total and blow other closer spots like Harris Teeter out of the water.The owners are opening a bar here in the same building one floor up from their bottle shop. Cant wait to see what they do because all signs point to it becoming the best craft beer and wine bar in the area.A+ operation over here, highly recommend!

I dont know what this 1 star reviewer dominion beer was thinking when he said that you cant get anything good here that you can find elsewhere. Maybe he was looking for Budweiser or Sam Adams. Whole foods, Giant, Total Wine, etc all have enormous beer aisles, but when I was looking for a good Gose selection over the summer, I could find them here (and not anywhere else). When I want to learn about new Va breweries, I come here. Its always hard for me to decide what to leave with because they have such a great, interesting selection.

I dont normally review places, but the staff at this place has gone the extra mile the last 10 times Ive been in. They are always nice, super knowledgeable, offering samples of the newest draft offerings. This place has a better selection of the beer I want to drink than Total Wine Mclean down the road, which is saying something considering the size. This is a high quality independent bottle shop.

Cozy little gastropub with a substantial and varied offering of craft beers with a some nice, crisp hard ciders. Food more than stands up on its own merits- they have some of the best fried chicken sandwiches Ive ever had.

Dominion has really upped their game over the past year and a bit. Its quite a lot packed into a tiny space. The addition of the new growler/crowler station is a huge bonus, as otherwise their beer selection (while good) mostly focuses on harder to find national brands. Their wine selection mixes some top shelf varietals with more gift-friendly options.
