My first time to visit this place and I just bought taro milk tea and taro smoothie because it’s our favorite with my boyfriend and my disappointment taste are like water. It’s not even close to taro taste.

I come here occasionally. In an area dominated by Starbucks, it’s better. In an area where milk tea is strangely hard to find, they have decent milk tea. The staff have always been courteous and attentive to me. The breakfast sandwiches and pastries are good.

Their seasalt vietnamese coffee is amazing. Good baked goods as well

A friend recommended this place and Im so glad I found it. Ive tried a few different coffees and they have all been good. Highly recommend the Cuban coffee and the Java Cappuccino. The tuna salad sandwich is very good as well. I havent tried the desserts yet but they look amazing!

✍️I stumbled onto JAVA LOCO on Van Dorn Street in Alexandria when in the area on business last Thursday and noticing online JL has a second location on Leesburg Pike in Falls Church a reasonable distance from where I live in Vienna. I went JL FC for coffee yesterday to see if it is any better than JL A. The FC shop is newer, larger and cleaner but it is not any better than the 3 stars I gave JL A. The A location at least had some charm. The FC spot seemed soulless to me, a characteristic of the zone that Joel Garreau, author of Edge City, discusses in fair detail in his specific study of the prototype edge city, Tysons, in his book.I only ordered black coffee which had the character of the interior ambiance, blah. JL FC had identical offering of pastries as the A location which was a disappointment and I did not want a repeat here so I just had coffee. The FC shop is set far back from LP as the JL A is from VDS. Both are destination locations.

Me and my girl went to get some pick me up drinks from here and i was highly impressed with their green tea bubble drink. Im from delaware so we dont have a lot of places like these but the drinks were amazing alongside the nice owner and worker that rung us up 🙌🙌

Great coffee

It sooo expensive and the people are so rude!! I bought boba from here some time and it was so expensive. Yesterday, me friends and I were thirsty so we went in to get a water cup, and when I asked for a water cup she said I can only give ONE….?!! What??!! She gave one to my friend and said “if you want another one, you have to pay” are you kidding???? What place makes you pay for a WATER CuP??!!

Awful service. They sold me wrong drink and this girl was very rude.Before today 9/2/2021 service was good.

Excellent Ocha milk tea, and their Vietnamese Ice Coffee is amazing. Ive had the Vietnamese coffee both with sea salt and without, loved it each ways. Very good.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick coffee to-go. The restaurant is very clean and decorated nicely! It would be a nice place to sit and chat or work when the pandemic is over.The coffees are great! I had a Caramel Macchiato which was perfect! It wasn’t too sweet like Starbucks, but just sweet enough for a treat. He had the Italian Coffee which was also very good. The serving sizes are generous for the price.The service was very fast, polite, and friendly.There are bagels and sandwiches on the menu. We weren’t hungry at the time, but have agreed we will definitely be returning to try them out!Great new local find!

I ordered for taro milk boba milk tea, she filled glass with too much ice and it’s tasted like Oreo milk shake, felt like not pure boba

I love this place! It’s a really great addition to the neighborhood. The staff are very kind, the coffee is good (my fave is the java cappuccino), and they also have delicious sandwiches and cakes. It would be a quaint place to sit and catch up with a friend.

Not a bubble tea connoisseur, but the milk tea at this location is very delicious. the two ladies working were both friendly and helpful, i was recommended the pink rose milk tea and it was pretty life changing. 🤤❤️

They should not say they offer Italian espresso. Far off quality :( no creama no flavor, this should not be called as espresso

Got an iced vanilla latte and it was so good. I appreciate that they dont put too much ice or too much syrup in. It was just right

I was so bummed when Peets closed at this location because it was within walking distance of my apartment and my go to spot. THEN I realized this place was opening and I was so so excited. I went on the 9th of November and ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee and it was one of the best things Ive ever had!!!! It was always such a beautiful, calm store, the staff was really friendly, and I will definitely be frequenting from now on! ☺

Delicious coffee, but VERY poor customer service

What a beautiful place! This coffee shop is spacious, extremely clean, and overall beautiful. I had their Handmade Tuna sandwich and a Sea Salt Matcha Latte with Honey Boba. Both the sandwich and the drink were very delicious! Highly recommend everyone try this place!

They reheated coffee for my mocha in microwave and dumped bunch of sugar in it, the taste was disgusting, never come back to this place.

Coffee is too strong, not impressed with the quality

Unfortunately, almost every sandwich has red onions. I ordered a vegan sandwich without red onions. The girl that took my order decided to stop and take another customer and passed off my sandwich to another person 😒. So you guessed it red onions. I spent 10.00 for a sandwich I couldnt eat.
