The folks at this comic shop are the BEST! My daughter and I came in because she wanted “a nature comic about sloths” and I was looking for some of the new Magic the Gathering cards. After we completely befuddled the friendly person working the front desk, my daughter took a seat to rest and I went card shopping, figuring such a task would not be fulfilled on this day. Well, as the equally lovely person at the rear desk answered all my questions and showcased various products, the valiant front desk attendant tracked us down with A NATURE COMIC WITH A SLOTH IN IT!!! Quest fulfilled! Not only did my daughter get her comic, but I pulled some truly exceptional cards from the bundle I had purchased. Five stars are not enough for this crack squad. Kudos all around.

Very nice comic and hobby shop in Falls Church. They have a great supply of new and back issues of popular Marvel/DC and more. I would say that their prices for back issues are a decent bit higher than surrounding shops however. But a counterpoint is they seem to have a larger collection due to it. Lots of various collectibles, statues, and action figures ranging from GI Joe to Star Wars and more. They also have a nice gaming section, with lots of D&D, and also one of the few stores to carry Star Wars Armada. Only other negative is that there is very limited parking. Staff was very nice, but didnt have much interaction due to it being quite busy on a Saturday.

Awesome comic store! They always have the new stuff, are very organized, and are super friendly and helpful. I’ve never read a comic until covid and they helped set me up on a new release subscription (per my request) and I haven’t had any problems or missed an issue since!

Excellent selection, funny/helpful customer service, and, above all, honesty in dealing with customers.I came in looking for something they didn’t have (and, foreseeably wouldn’t for quite some time) and they set me straight in a way that was helpful, but also informative. I still left with an armful of unnecessary, but awesome comics (much to my wife’s chagrin).Check them out.

A fun shop for nerd culture fans. Theyve got new comics, graded and raw back issues, TPBs, HCs and art books galore, extensive MTG and Pokemon singles, RPG books and tabletop gaming including miniatures and paints, and all the peripheral supplies for all of these hobbies too. The only downside is the small amount of parking since the massive Target was put in next door.

So im torn on this one... staff are super nice, but no board games. Comics are stocked, lots or magic cards, its ok.More then likely best around but i wish there were more board games.

Went in for a couple board games. Their selection was well organized and easy to navigate. The prices were as good or better than prices online. I had some questions about some of the games and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable--I highly recommend Victory Comics!

I just love coming into this store. First time I came into this store was some years ago when I was looking for newly published Bruce Lee series & these guys helped me to keep track of the issies that came out simultaneously. Now if I need whether it’s just some trading card protective sleeves or some Star Wars cool items, this is the first place I’d come. The guy behind the counter & the cashier girl, they’re really kind & helpful. Definitely my favorite store in the area.

Its a bit out of the way for me and my friends, but this is our go to comic book place for weekend outings! Great selection of singles, volumes, and variants. I wish they had more manga but its not a big deal for me. Good place to get TCG supplies, be warned though: they do not currently have Pokemon cards at MSRP.

Victory has been one of my go-to LGSes in the area for many years. Their staff is top notch and its one of the best spots for MTG FNMs or pre-releases.

Great local shop for MTG games and products

They have most of what you would want from your hobby and everything comic wise. But the little twerp that sits in the back (hobby/gaming portion of the store) is by far the most unbearable person to talk or deal with. Comes off very rude and annoyed to answer questions. But that might be different for Magick the gathering questions idk I dont play that. And dont ask about stuff that isnt out yet they get annoyed by that. Honestly its mainly the guys that work there that act unprofessional with questions. The other workers are fine.

Has a good blend of current comics with a decent selection of back issues and volumes. Has a separate room with different games, and also has some good collectibles available for Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. Limited manga collection for those interested in that.

The prices that they are selling pokemon products for is actually criminal. They are selling items that released for 20$, has a market value of 40$ online, for 60$ in the store. Wont be going back.

Stopped by for the first time last week, had a very solid selection of games, minis, toys, and comics! Not a huge GW section, but a very solid selection nonetheless!

Victory Comics is absolutely incredible! We are so lucky to have a wonderful game store around the corner, and have spent countless hours here. Reasonably priced, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and great stock. Weve had friends come from out of state and insist on visiting with us.

They have good prices and a membership that can really help you save money if you go frequently, they also offer military discounts

One of the DMV’s best comic book stores. Excellent selection of comics and trades, excellent customer service and a welcoming environment. This is best comic bookstore on Northern VA. I can not recommend highly enough, and would say co e to Victory Comics for your toy, gaming and comics needs.

They have tons of cool collectibles too and all these neat tabletop things as well. Free Comic Book Day each year is always a blast with fun, games, an artists alley, and stormtroopers walking around! I look forward to it every year

Ive been going to this store regularly for the past seven years. I started when I was 10, now Im seventeen. In those seven years, nothing has changed! Every visit has been great, the staff has always been helpful, and I love the community that has been built and the friendships I have established in that time.

This store was a great place to shop. Clean, neat stock, a great mix of older and newer trades, and not overwhelmed with toys and collectibles. I came here with my daughter and was thrilled by how we were treated.

We came because we won a coupon through the library and I took my kids all under 6. They each found such cool stuff. We enjoyed our visit and the guy who was working was super nice and helpful.

Staff were extremely stand-offish, unhelpful, and arrogant, especially the gentleman named Steve. With that being said, the store has a lot of product by way of table-top board gaming. If youre interested in comics or graphic novels, its worth it to go somewhere else. I wont be back.

I was surprised with how big the store was! I was in the area and decided for a trip to get the Predator bank I saw in a photo of theirs and they still had it! They have everything you would need to start a collection and old and new comics! The employees were very nice and I was able to get in and out without any problems. I’m definitely coming back with my boyfriend.

Nice little shop with comics, TCGs and miniatures, and a small section for D&D. The MTG draft tournaments are small and comfortable, the players are fun to hang out with and to play with, and were very helpful and encouraging to someone like me who is returning after a 15yr hiatus from the game. If you go there, talk to the players, not the staff. The players are much more helpful and friendly.

The staff: (and they know whom they are) unable or unwilling to do the bare minimum when it comes to interacting with the public. It does not surprise me that the one-Star review given has kids crying in it by the end of the interaction. Poor social skills and a general sense of malaise infuse the store, and to be honest, it’s because the people can’t and don’t know how to interact with other living beings. Additionally, should they decide to do a little training on how to give customer service, they should also make sure that both sensitivity training and training on diversity wouldn’t be lost on them, either. Do better Victory- the name is your store is misleading.

I honestly NEVER complain or write reviews, but our experience here was so bad I just had to write this. I brought my three kids in to the store to trade Pokémon cards, get a small number of them appraised, and hopefully get enough store credit to buy new packs. They had been looking forward to this all week...even had to do extra chores and really earn this trip to the store.To start, the store clerk seemed extremely annoyed that we were there. The kids were being respectful, polite, well-mannered, QUIET, waiting their turn—yes they were excited to see what their cards would be worth, but still remaining quiet and non disruptive. The clerk sighed when each of the kids handed him their small stack of cards to be looked at and even rolled his eyes when one of my kids said “no thank you” to his offer.Then when we were checking out, my one kid who was buying something (with his own money out of his piggy bank) handed the clerk his wad of cash, and the clerk refused to count it. He rudely said to my child, “YOU count the money and find the total.” While my kid was struggling to do so, the clerk sighed again. I eventually had to step in and help him count it, because my child was so embarrassed he couldn’t concentrate.One of my kids left silently crying, the other two said they never wanted to go back there! This individual took something that my kids were looking forward to and ruined it for them. They felt awkward and ashamed for asking him politely to simply do his job.I usually try to ignore rude employees and chalk it up to them having a bad day...but this was awful!! I had to write something! Someone needs to be informed!

The guy behind the register flipped out when I was checking the price of an item online. He does not want customers to have the best price and said he does not care about us but rather how is business does. This store does not offer the best prices. I suggest shopping else where.

Victory has an excellent selection of both comics and games of all types (card, board, RPG, miniature, etc.) The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have a nice space available for gaming; groups can use this in addition to the store events.

I go here weekly and it’s clear the staff genuinely enjoy what they do here. They have experience and are good at teaching new players (such as myself) various new games that I still enjoy a lot. While I’ve only been going here for a month or so, I can safely say this place is the best place for tabletop... anything.

This was such a fun comic shop. The staff were communicative, and helpful. Great prices on vintage and current comics, games, plenty of media and content for kids. We got our 4 year old Scooby Doo Batman comic, and it has been a joy to read with him. Really happy we came to victory comics!! Something for everyone

Amazing selection of comics and games- reasonably knowledgeable staff- great hours- and tons of events. This shop is fantastic. The local gamers here are generally nice and have a genuine passion for gaming which really shines through. Theyre queer friendly and have plenty of men and women alike so it isnt an alienating place no matter what your background is. A truly fantastic place.

Great spot to pick up a multitude of hobby related items- comic books, dice, sleeves, toys, trading and collectible cards. Ive gone here to play Magic the Gathering tournaments and I have no complaints. Store is clean and well lit. There is also a burger place within walking distance if you are attending for an elongated amount of time. Definitely worth dropping in at the very least to browse. Oh and the owner is a friendly guy.

Staff is super helpful and nice, store is extremely clean, neat, and organized. My only complaint is I wish they stocked more manga and foreign comics but other than that its really one of the best spots in the DC area for good comics.I went in thinking Id buy one or two books, then I found their discount table and walked away with over 10 (they were 2 bucks a piece come on), will definitely be coming back.

Great recreation location for folks of any age. Nice selection of games and comics, and really frequent tournaments. The open tables for free play of your own games or those checked out from the store is another great plus. The staff are always helpful. The only downside to this place is that its not always the cleanest. Lots of folks hang all day and have lunch and snacks so trash cans fill up pretty quick and folks dont always clean up the best behind themselves.

If youre looking for anything from comic books to Pokemon cards, from Dungeons and Dragons paraphernalia to the latest game featured on Tabletop, this is the place for you. The location is wacky and parking is iffy, but anyone that geeks out over games and comics will love it here. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly. My kids and I come here once a year to redeem our coupons out of the Fairfax County Library summer reading program reward booklet, and I always ask myself why we only go once. Its a treasure trove!

I go to Victory on a weekly basis and the store has begun to feel a bit like home for me. Staff is friendly and helpful, patrons are equally as nice. The shop is always clean and when its not, you can clearly see that even patrons will help get it back in order. Just a lot of mutual respect going on. Staff also hold events frequently, so definitely stop by and check it out!

This location has a great comic collection, tons of eclectic memorabilia, table top gaming supplies, and a good selection of standard rotation MTG cards. The back-dated collection of MTG isnt great, but given the wide range covered by this location its still a great shop in general.The staff has always been friendly and helpful.The only downside is that parking gets a bit congested.

Biggest comic shop Ive found in Northern VA. Have a good selection of modern age comics, and have a good collection of back issues as well. Looking through their bin I found some really cool older titles. Some were priced a little high, but everyone has got to make some money. Not only do they have comics, they also carry a lot of collectibles, and also have tabletop games. Overall, a nice store, and the best place to find a balance of old & new.

Well lit, clean, and well organized comic/tabletop store. Was in town visiting and was very impressed, especially compared to some of the other FLGSs Ive been in. Staff was friendly and it seemed to get a good amount of business. One of the cooler aspects was the demo rack, which allowed you to check out a board game before purchase. Really liked this store and will return when Im back on vacation!
