Where do I start, Latina Styles Inc IN DALLAS has got to be the worst encounter Ive had. With one person specifically, Lupita Colmenero. I had an interview with them and Lupita is extremely unprofessional, which is very confusing because I am a Latina and they stand with Hispanic women, well at least thats what they claim their organization is all about. Lupita belittles you, makes you feel like dirt during the whole interview process gives you nothing but backhanded compliments (insults) and evil smirks, and at the end she bearly gave me a decent professional handshake. Very unprofessional behavior coming from her and her role. If youve had a bad experience I would recommend to share it, as of now this is the only place you are able to leave a review. This is not acceptable and I will make sure people will be aware of this. Lupita is a sad example of a true latina I am sad to see someone with such unprofessional behavior represent us all.

Latina Style Magazine is either being misled or clueless about the reality of how women and minorities, in general, are treated. I helped spearhead two class action lawsuits against the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in the mid 2000s, one based on ethnicity and the other on gender. The lab settled both cases. The latter, based on pay disparity for women, was settled for $18 million plus attorneys fees. So how in the world Latina Style Magazine can view LANL as an exemplary employer for women is beyond belief. Indeed, its insane!
