I went here to get my transmission rebuilt. It was recommended by my shop mechanic. When it was detailed what could be the problem, how it could be fixed and how much. Drop my car off for about 2 weeks while I was out of town and returned and it was fixed and running properly. Excellent service, respectable price, and a definite recommendation for anyone looking to get their transmission fixed

Terrible customer service, along with leaving customer vehicles that are outside waiting to get worked on, unlocked. When I dropped my vehicle off, I parked it where I was told, and locked the doors. Went back a couple days later to grab something, and the doors were left unlocked during non-business hours. Not only were they left unlocked, my vehicle had been gone through, and things were missing. They also tell customers they will get their vehicle in by a certain day, and then still does not get it in for at least 3 weeks. Every time you call, they just keep telling you 2-3 more days. On top of that, the transmissions they rebuilt lasted less than 40,000 miles, and when you go back to use the warranty they tell you they have, they make up an excuse as to why your issue is not covered. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So I got a referral from a local service guy. Best advice I have got. Was able to get me in right away. Figure the issue and gave a 3 yr 100k warranty. WOW. And the communication was excellent price was good with the warranty. I had the vehicle a couple days and noticed a squeak. Brought it back it it was a backplate to a brake. Nothing to do work I had done. They spent a couple hours on it. Fixed it. Charged me nothing.I highly recommend North Country transmission.

The do quality work and stand behind it. My transmission works awesome.

Honest and dependable. Dallas checked my car out and found it was an electrical problem, not the transmission. He didnt even charge me!
