So sad to see such a unique place being managed so poorly! Waited over an HOUR for our food with our kids starving. Food came with buns rock hard, so kids couldn’t eat their burgers. One ate half of his on only the top bun, the other ate his fries. Manager REFUSED to take my other son’s UNTOUCHED burger off bill because he ate his $1.50 fries, WITH both meals nearly untouched. This was on top of my gravy being cold, my burger so small in my rye bread that every bite was nearly all bread AND my cheese cardboard melted then cold on it.Further, Manager argued nonstop with me about it and told me that just because I was the customer that didn’t mean I was always right. I was only asking to not have to pay for the untouched burger - not counting all the rest of the mishaps with our other meals! She “would ONLY” take 10% off of our bill, totaling HALF of one burger, and REFUSED to do anything more while telling me “Good luck calling the morning manager because I AM the manager!” And, refusing to tell me who the owners are and when they’re in; only mumbling how they NEVER bother even coming in!One can only conclude that this manager is attempting to shut the business down for personal unemployment benefits. Otherwise, there is NO WAY that ANYONE in customer service should have acted the way she did, MUCH LESS served such garbage!

Couldn’t wait to eat!!!!We came here specifically for the Baked Spinach and Artichoke dip.It’s served in a bread bowl accompanied by tortilla chips and little toasted bread slices. We also ate dinner. The French dip is very good.Stop here if you want really good Spin Dip 🥰

Extremely disappointed in this establishment!!! Staff are NOT knowledgeable, dont even offer to find out for the customers when they do not know the answers, food was ok, it was a little to spicy for my liking, but thats my personal preference. So we had over 1/2 a pizza left. The temp of the food was good and hot. I did get a to go box . Left it on our table to play games, we were seated right next to game area, went to go grab our stuff and it was gone! So went up to pay my bill, asked where my to go box was and they replied they tossed it in the garbage, and said they were sorry, and offered to grab it out of the garbage!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!?? The reason we went there was so me and my son could play pool, and games. Something for us to do, because Fargo doesnt have a lot for kids over 10 to do. If this place stays open after reopening, I will be very surprised. So disappointed.

This place is great for a fun, easygoing experience. Fargo Billiards and Gastropub offers a variety of different activities, not just pool, for all ages and skill levels. Aside from billiards, they offer pinball, pingpong, bags (cornhole) and darts. Gastropub also provides a full menu and bar, just in case you get hungry or feel like wetting your whistle. While the service might take a minute or two extra to take your order (its a big place) its worth the wait. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Its a great place to go as a group or just on your own.

Great place to go with friends. Pool, table tennis, darts, bar games, jukebox, air hockey, etc. this place has it all including friendly staff, cold beer and great food! Will always be back!

Heres my new thoughts:• Wait Time - It took a couple minutes to get a table, just because they were busy helping others. The place was relatively busy at this time.• Game play - Decent blue nine-foot Gabriels tables are presented to the left when you walk in. The tables play well and have a good coast time for balls.• In-house Cues & Bridges - In better shape then last time. Bridges were placed near the table, not under. Most of the in-house cues were in good enough shape to play a game with. They could, however, use more cues. It was a struggle to find good ones with an exceptional weight (19-21) and when we did, it wasnt long before someone from another table nabbed it from us.• Wait Staff - Good people who will help you with questions and with placing orders. However, if you dont talk to them, they wont talk to you.• Pro Shop - Not Reviewed• Other games (Cornhole, Darts, Ping-Pong, Pinball, etc.) - Not reviewed. However, the Pinball machines are no longer crammed in a corner and the ping-pong tables were getting a fair amount of use. They seem to be really solid tables for the average players.• Food & Drink - Cheese curds have a bit of a kick to them and their house made pizzas have toppings piled on nicely! A very good selection to choose from. Drinks are served in a timely matter and are made nicely.Would I recommend this location to a friend? Yes, but for larger groups. For a more intimate game, I would recommend the Moorhead counterpart.Would I visit this place again? Busy and loud. Fun place to get together with friends. The food isnt too bad either. The service was sorta slow but nothing too bad. Overall a good experience for our group. Peyman was an amazing person to work with and very professional with great service. We had a few people who served and helped us but she was definitely exceptional.

We are here from out of town and were taken here for a night out... the server was great .... kept the food and drinks coming .... a couple of us went to pay the bill and leave... we watched the so called manager treat her busy understaffed staff horrible. And we did not get any better treatment from her. I wont be going back.

So glad they are back open. The food was great on Friday and loved the Pizza. What we really enjoyed was there was a bunch of games and activities for the kids to do. I dont want to drive all the way north of 94 for my kids to enjoy some games. Billiards was great.

30 minutes for a beer. 90 minutes and my wings still have not shown up. Took an hour for the pizza. The service here is unacceptable. I wish I could tell you how the wings were but I never got it. Waitress said after hour she just put the order in. 90 minutes after the initial order she was going to put it in, again... If your hungry go somewhere else because they will either mess your order up or you will never get it.

Best service that we had for my work meeting, food was awesome and services provided, we had no complaints, easiest group to work with for what the serviced said for the service, we would like to do it again

This is the first pool hall Ive ever gone to. My husband had been to others and said that none compared to this one. So many tables! Plus cozy sitting areas, a bar area, ping pong, foosball, corn hole, arcade games (including a 4 player Pac Man!!), And a mini casino... All under one roof! Oh, and did I mention dining? We had planned on eating but were still full from an earlier meal. Their menu looks amazing, though, and Im sure another time we will try the food also. We had a great time, very relaxing and enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next trip there! They are open very late, also. Perfect for those night owls!

I have been to Billiards a few times; however, this is the first time Ive rented one of the private rooms. The experience was great and the server was exceptional. The food from the gastropub was delicious as always.

Best place in town for events, food and drinks! There are so many options for games to play, including: pool, foosball, pinball, cornhole, air hockey, darts, sand volleyball and ping pong. The service is great, the food is so good, and its clean.

Was hoping for a better evening with new owners, but it was not so. Still mediocre food at best and still bad service.We had to ask for another pitcher of beer when it was empty & had to ask the server to take the empty as she was otherwise just leaving it on the table. When our food finally came, after a loooong wait- btw the big building is no excuse considering the game tables take up the majority of space- some of the the food was wrong, burgers were overcooked, fries were overcooked & then came to the table cold, and we werent given sides/condiments that are supposed to come with the food. And we never even got the appetizers we ordered right after we sat down.They do have a lot of new games to play instead of just pool so if thats all youre looking for, youll probably enjoy yourself. But if you have any intention of eating or drinking, save yourself some frustration & spend your money elsewhere.

Great place to go for some indoor fun! They have a bunch of billiard tables, darts, ping pong, beanbag toss and foosball! It is family friendly and also a bar in the middle of the building. They have a restaurant attached also and the food is decent. Prices to play are reasonable but for the food prices, I feel they are too expensive for the taste. I mainly go here just to play and have a good time 😁

I havent been there in a while and my kids havent ever been. The tables were mean! I got beat by my 11 yr old haha. It was really fun for my boys and me. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and thought it was pretty decent. We will be back!!

Great tables, great place for kids as well

We had a company party here, and it was a very modern environment. We were probably the loudest group and it didnt seem like it bothered anyone. The serving staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was definitely decent for banquet buffet, and the drinks were awesome and affordable.

Good food, good service just wish there were more 9 tables and some action going on.

We had a large group for an office lunch. It took a while to get the food out, but when we got it the food was delish! Their pickles are amazing. I had the pulled pork and loved it. The fries are the big thick steak fries. Yum.

Playing pool is really fun so being able to enjoy pool with friends later in the day while most places are closed they are open so fun!

What a great place to bring the family or just for a night out with friends! Pool for the family, ping pong in the bar, and a nice side room for private gatherings. Great customer service. Definitely worth going if just for their incredible food.

They call themselves a gastropub which is, by definition, a pub that specializes in serving high quality food. Their food, after been given chance after chance, has been less than mediocre -- at best. After the 3rd, and worst time, I simply stopped ordering their garbage. Their service has also never been better than pompous, if anyone is around for service at all. Im giving it two stars instead of one because, at least, it has an ample amount of pool tables. However, with food and service this bad, I question if its worth it.

Amazing food, NONE of it is from frozen like some fool said previously. It is reasonably priced, enough to keep most low-lives and drunks out. Great atmosphere. The music is classy, Im not saying a livestock auction isnt classy, but the music played at Fargo Billiards is more on the up scale side... But then again, the whole place is upscale. I love it.

Used to love the food. Some of the menu items have gone downhill. Jalapeno poppers, fries and burgers have a 50/50 chance of being good. If you are sitting away from the bar pay cash for drinks instead of a tab, I have been double charged multiple times. Otherwise its a fun place. Has a nice layout, plenty of pool tables and a good atmosphere.

Ordered a steak. Later told by the waitress that they were out of a steak. Ordered hot beef sandwich. Good food with large portions

Great place to play pool, pinball, and trivia nights! Sometimes the staff either get distracted, busy, or forget and theyll take quite some time to return to your tables for drink or food orders. Most the time theyre on top of it though.

Good food and drinks. Waitress was fun and liked to bs with us. Seemed to taper off how much she checked on us after initial few stops though. No big deal as she did have other tables

Nice tables and equipment. Drinks are fairly reasonable and the food wasnt too bad either. The tables are spaced enough for a lot of people to have games going side by side. Also, it definitely seemed like a beginner friendly environment.

Get ready to play pool!This place is pretty awesome. There are pool tables everywhere & you can have good old food service delivered to every pool table.You dont have to be 21 to go here. The whole family can eat & play pool. You still have to be 21 to drink something stronger though (wink).The great thing is that they dont charge you per game so rack up the hours as you rack up those balls.

The service is absolutely horrible. we barely had any service at our table the whole 5 hours we were there. then when we decided to play pool, we got absolutely screwed on the price. last weekend when we were there, it was $5 for the whole night no matter how many people were playing. then when we come tonight, we got charged $17 for playing for pool for a half hour. we played 2 rounds of pool and were done. the manager who charged us accused us of not telling her how long we planned on playing. THEN, when we signed the credit card receipt, she books it away from us so she didnt have to deal with us. We do not recommend going here. nothing but horrible staff and horrible people and attitudes. we will never be coming back!!!!!

Atmosphere was dim and cold. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged by the waitress. She saw that I was seated with my white friend but only took the energy to address her and not me. When our long island iced tea came it was a cup of ice and syrup. Worst drink Ive ever had. After drinking the barely minimum she didnt even engaged in a conversation or asked if we like the drinks. Considering were partner with the FCC this was by far the worst service ever.

Took 13 minutes to get a table with a single group ahead of us is line with tables open. Took quite awhile to receive orders and could barley close our tabs. Every experience here seems to be involved with longer than expected wait times. They must be shorted staffed regularly or just have low standards for theur employees. There were pool tables that were well equipped, must have recently added ping pong tables as well.

Ive been there three times and each time has been a disappointment. No one Ive gone with has been greeted, ever, they hardly even acknowledge your existence. The prices for there food is too high for low quality/quantity. The service is pretty bad, its never been all that busy when Ive gone and yet Id still hardly see the servers. The thing that really ticked me off the most though, was the last time I went, I ordered a strawberry shortcake. I was given a few slices of pound cake with canned strawberries poured on top. I took a bite anyway since I was really hungry (being very pregnant at the time) and ended up burning my tongue. Someone heated up the strawberries! Apparently, no one there knows what a strawberry shortcake is. Strawberry shortcake is whipped cream and strawberries in between a sweet biscuit with more whipped cream and strawberries on top. Thats it, its not supposed to be hot! I wonder if they microwave their other desserts for no reason. I will never go there again, what I was served was an insult to that classic dessert.

Best place ever

Just had my wedding reception at the Fargo Billiards and Gastropub. The service was wonderful and the food was great! The location turned out to be a great hit. I rented out rooms indoors and the outdoor area. We ate indoors and had the party outdoors. The DJ set up outside and it was great. Since the out door area is fenced in all the guests with children could relax a bit and let the kids run and play in the sand and grass. There was an area for dancing as well as an area for people that would like to just visit.Could not have been better!

A lively and bustling place to enjoy one of lifes oldest games and food that will stick to your ribs. The beer is cold and the food is hot. I highly recommend the Gastro Burger with an ice cold IPA. Great place for large parties as well as just the two of you. Five stars well earned.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings and my wife had a cheeseburger and fries. Both burgers were completely over cooked. They were like black lumps of coal. We sat by the kitchen and watched other peoples food sit under the heat lamps for well over ten minutes. Cooks were eating while prepping food. Even saw a waitress take a drink of a milkshake as she was taking it from the kitchen. This will be my last meal from this restaurant. My previous meal here was excellent. Must have been a different crew working that night. So disappointed.

Its a fun place. Probably a bit expensive, all things considered. Food is decent, good drinks, can rent about any type of pool table you like. Looks like they have frequent interesting events as well. An employee informed me that they have volleyball in the summer months outside.

The Gastropub is one of my favorite hang out places in Fargo! They have many pool tables, so having access to one is never an issue. Pool tables are charged per hour - we paid $14 an hour for the tables with the nice seating area.The service is sometimes a bit slow, but they always end up coming around. They have some of the best onion rings around, and there is a full bar with great bartenders. The pizza is also delicious. Definitely a great place to play pool, grab some food and drinks, and hang out with friends!

We have come here on several occasions with friends for a night out. The atmosphere is great, but the service is bordering on horrible. Once a server first arrives at your table so you can order drinks, they take an exceptionally long time to return with the drinks so you can order food. The food takes longer then should to arrive and the drinks never stay full, and you feel like you are an inconvenience by catching bypassing waitresses. Its a great place to play pool, great food, but not recommended for a social night out.

We had a group of 14 people some minors. We were seated in the dining room which worked perfectly for us. And while the adults had a drink the younger members were able to play games. The food was delicious and although very busy our waitress was very attentive.

First time we stopped at Fargo Billiards. We had our 13 year old son with. Very family friendly. Staff went out of their way to serve us and brag/show us all their facility has to offer. Food was phenomenal with homestyle flavor mixed with an exotic touch. Definitely will be returning!

Fargo billiards has a lot to offer inn the FM area. Not only do they have a large selection of pool tables yup rent by the hour, they have private rooms available for rent. Out back they have a nice patio with great volleyball courts. The only drawback that I can think of is that they really dont have many drink specials, but I think that had to do with the type of venue they are.

Service is not good in the volleyball area. A friend got charged for drinks that were never ordered. When this was addressed to the wait staff it took 20 min to get a manager over to fix the issue. Went here one week and got a french dip and it took forever and cold. Went there again and cooks cant get a burger right. It was over cooked and the center was underdone and mushy. The pool hall and patio is the saving Grace of this place. Play pool and volleyball but make sure you eat somewhere else. make sure to order 2 drinks because you are lucky to get one.

Good for a night out with friends or a casual date. Very clean as well, which is not usually a hallmark of a pool hall. Rarely a wait and the food is well prepared bar food with a few extras in there. The back patio is awesome when its open (warmer months) and just makes everything more fun.
