Had an overall great experience working with Alex and Jeremy! They were both very knowledgeable about finding the right car for me! I mentioned I didn’t know much about jeeps but would love to try one out and Alex was a major help with filling me in on everything there was to know about them! Jeremy made sure everything was set to go before I left the lot and had the car looking great! He is very reassuring and made sure I was set to go!

So disappointed. Been waiting for my car for a week and a half as they were waiting on a part but now there isnt one to get. So happy that it still wont be fixed when we haul it away........ *Edit* my husband drove it home (he was told it was fine to drive) to find the sensor to the exhaust off and gateway cut a wire to it. 😡 Lets do some teaching and training or hire people who know what theyre doing.. Nice to pay for the diagnostics check even after you do nothing but ruin my car more oh and $75 to put in a light bulb!? No thanks. Im happy we bought the car from you guys a few years ago but I cant wait to be done with your messed up service department.

Nice place for Chevy and GMC auto repairs. Even with a full main garage they got my tire fixed and oil changed within 2-3 hours while it was busy. The waiting lounge is nice and has a very nice coffee machine for guests, as well as water. Customer service was very nice and quick without a lot of hassle. The price was a little high, but the service is pretty good quality. If you need repairs on any Chevy or GMC this is the place to go.

The problems started at drop-off. I showed up a couple of minutes early for my prescheduled appointment. I was not acknowledged although there appeared to be many advisors around. After an awkward wait being ignored, I was approached by Matt without so much as a greeting. He annoyingly started the check-in process and set me up with ashuttle ride. I was informed sometime after that the parts needed to repair my vehicle were not available for 7 days. I was then informed that no rental or loaner vehicles were available at the time of that. I explained that I understood that to Matt and expressed my vehicle requirements as we have 3 children. He called back and insisted I take a Chevy Colorado which I explained would not work. Matts demeanor was annoyed and upset that I wouldnt accept the rental. He called the next day and informed me he had signed me up for a Nissan Titan and I needed to come to pick it up. I refused that rental as it was not suitable for our needs. I made another arrangement for a vehicle personally. I returned to gather a car seat and other belongings from the vehicle and I was met by an annoyed Matt again slamming his phone down to ask me what I needed as I wanted at his stand. When I returned to pick up my vehicle a week later I was informed fluid and shop consumables were not covered by my Elite warranty so expected to pay $50 on top of my deductible which was not ideal! Thats a lot of break clean and paper towels! Matt then mentioned that he would submit my rental to the warranty company for payment I then reminded him I had not received a rental. He acted unaware of this and confused. I then met Matt outside to receive my vehicle which was delivered with non-functioning brakes. I returned immediately to inform Matt that the brakes (the original issue) were not functional. I was then asked to wait for 30 min as they attempted to repair them. 30min came and went so I found a ride back to work. 4 hours later I was contacted that the vehicle was fixed and that keys were in it waiting in the parking lot! This whole situation wasnt handled well! It lacked sincerity and customer service on a basic level! This is the second bad experience I have had in the last 6 months with your establishment!

Our sales person was dismissive and rude to my husband so we worked numbers with the sales manager. He and I agreed to numbers over the phone (we’re out of state) and when my husband called FROM THE AIRPORT to confirm, his sales person said, verbatim, “I could sell you the truck at that number but I’m not going to. We could get more for it at auction” I left multiple messages for the sales manager I spoke with AND the General Manager and none of my calls were ever returned.I’m a woman working in automotive sales and even I’ve never been treated this badly at a dealership.

I was impressed with the dealership staff from start to finish. They went the extra mile to address a problem that was part of a GM service bulletin. With my Corvette only having 6800 miles and the warranty had just expired, Gateway Chevrolet worked with GM to cover all the repairs. I am an hour away from the dealership and had to leave the car an extra day before I could pick it up. The dealership kept my car inside the dealership away from the elements until I could get down to get my car. I am extremely satisfied with the care that was given to me as a customer by Gateway Chevrolet.

Everything went fairly well. We had a little bit of confusion with the final billing but managed to get it resolved. We were told about a transmission warranty if we continue with flushes on a regular basis. I would like to have something in writing to verify this warranty...

Gateway helped find and put us in our new GMC, and we couldnt be more appreciative!After our car was totaled, we were Walking between dealerships trying to find something affordable that would actually last. We ended up runnjng into our salesman (Jeremy) who brought us in, asked about our needs, and pulled options on the spot.Next thing, were test driving this car thats nicer then we thought could even be an option, and it was perfect.Jeremy was amazing at understanding our situation while being kind and really helpful at the same time. So a personal thank you to him.Michael and Ryan were also amazing at helping push everything through!*** After the sale...Unfortunately tbh after having the car for a couple hours, our GMC started to have bad steering wheel vibrations.We called Jeremy and he asked us to come back to service right away. We received a nice loaner while they looked at it but our hearts sunk thinking this was going to cost us more.Turns out, it had a transmission related issue 😱But they took care of it!! Just truly good customer service and honest way to handle everything. Even with an appointment it took 2.5 hours to get an oil change. I was told upon checking in 1.5 hours in and out (which is still way too long in my opinion). Will not be returning for oil changes any time soon

I work 45 minutes out of town so I had to get a rental to be able to get to work while my suburban was being worked on. Traci was kind enough to have my suburban dropped off at the car rental place so that I would not have to Uber to Gateway after dropping off rental to get my vehicle. This was a huge service to me! We are headed to Pine Island Idaho from St Cloud in sub zero weather pulling our trailer of snowmobiles when our truck needed service ASAP. We pulled into Gateway and the cars were lined up already at 7 am. The owner personally heard and understood our plight and got things rolling for us. Within 2 hours we were back on the road. That was some of the best, kindest service I have ever seen. Super impressed that the owner of the place was at work before 7 on one of the coldest mornings of the year overseeing his staff and helping where needed. Lots of good people in this world!

Good service, but the serviceman doesnt know my car needs its oil changed every 2000 miles. My car tells me when it is due. they put 6000 miles for the time it needs a new oil change. Please update your service policy for the higher performance v8 engines. thank you

I have brought my Impala here whenever Ive had a problem and theyve always taken care of me. Dan is the best service rep they have. He is very honest and isnt trying to just take all your money. The shuttle service is so convenient. The waiting area is clean and nice. The show room is packed with options. Ive only ever had one bad experience here, but it didnt stop me from coming back. I always trust Gateway with my vehicles.

I went in inquiring about an oil change. The gal did not tell me no nor did she tell me they were closing soon (not from Fargo and I had bad information on closing of service department!) They happily took my vehicle in for the oil change and even did the rotate I had mentioned but said if they couldnt, not to bother! It was not until after they serviced my vehicle I found out they were closing in meer minutes. Fastest wait time for my vehicle - all hands on deck for the last service of the day!! If I could give them a customer service award I would! They definitely earned it!!

I came in for a routine service and asked for an inspection. The inspection turned up an unknown issue that I was 50 miles away from having covered under warranty! I am glad they caught it! Saved me $1500! Dan was my customer service associate. He was great and kept me up to speed. I didn’t get his name, but the young guy with braces took over after Dan left and set me up with a rental since my car was in over night and I had a date for my wife’s birthday!

I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. I am from out of the area and honestly was ready to trade my Chevrolet in for another brand of truck. I broke down out side of Fargo and limped my way into town. I went to Gateway and was met by wonderful technicians who were brutally honest about the time it would take for me to get my vehicle repaired. Michael was my service advisor and made arrangements for a rental car for us to get home as my vehicle was under warranty. the next day I got a call on the repairs and parts were going to be 4 to 5 weeks out. Eric in the service department got the parts in a week and the repairs were completed that day. I was 4.5 hours away and could not get the rental car back in a timely manner and the dealership went out of their way to get my truck back to me. My faith is restored in Chevrolet and the exceptional service that is available. Great Job Gateway Chevrolet and to your team a special thank you. Terry Madden

My wife was the one that started the inquiry but ended up not being able to take the constant phonecalls we received from Gateway due to her job. I took over taking phone calls but Gateway would call my wife twice before contacting me and if I was busy call her again. There was no communication between employees causing us to receive several phonecalls that had already been discussed at least once before with someone else. The main offended was Michael Blythe. Unfortunately, due to the current vehicle climate we had no option but to deal with this dealership and we did purchase a vehicle. We will never work with Gateway again. Id recommend doing your research like we did and only show up at the dealership if you are confident you want the vehicle they offer. Never give your phone number out prior to purchase. This was our primary issue but we had other issues we had that gives them 2 stars.

I called several times and was unable to talk to service specialist. I was able to talk with someone to schedule an oil change. I discussed with him about a trailer brake error I was getting and he said I would have to discuss that with the service specialist when I dropped my truck off. I left a couple messages with service specialist and also responded to Text message I received when my daughter dropped the truck off. Still no response until after truck was back home and was told I would have to make another appointment with main shop. Still no answer when tried calling the shop to discuss this issue.

My husband & I were on a 4 hour road trip to visit our daughter (from MN to ND) when we had car trouble. We ended up having to get it towed to Gateway on a Friday evening, without their knowledge (since it was past closing time). We showed up Saturday morning at opening time, to let them know the situation. Matt, our Service Advisor went above and beyond! He got us in right away, kept us informed, verified our warranty & got us a loaner car as we ended up having to extend our stay in Fargo for the repair. We were so impressed by his kindness & professionalism that the next time we buy a car, we will be making the 4 hour trip from the Twin Cities to Fargo. Matt is a great asset to Gateway!!

My service advisor Traci is the only reason I am not giving 1 star or a 0/10 on recommending Gateway Chevrolet to other people. She was super nice, kind hearted, and understanding, I felt like she was working to truly help me with my vehicle issues.I brought my car in because my lights on my 2007 suburban pulsed (they would dim and brighten constantly). I asked to have that fixed, I asked the team to look at the battery or the alternator to see if those could be the issues.I received a message later that same day stating the alternator was fine and the battery needed to be replaced. The technician also stated that I needed: new wires/spark plugs, to change out my transmission fluid, and a new power steering hose. I told Traci I just wanted what would fix my light issue. I was lead to understand in order to fix my chief complaint I would need the new battery, and new wires/spark plugs. So, I declined the Transmission fluid and the power steering hose as I only wanted the pulsing lights issue fixed.They replaced the battery and wires/spark plugs in a timely manner and I came to pick up my car later that day. Once I paid my bill, they brought my car around and gave me my keys. I walked outside, started my car, and the pulsing lights issue had not been fixed. I went back in and talked with Traci, she came out and agreed the problem had not been fixed. She grabbed the technician and had him take a look. He said I would need to bring my car back to have it looked at again.So a week later I brought my car back and left it for the day. Later that day, I was told I now needed to have my alternator replaced. Why did it not need to be replaced at the last visit? I agreed to replacement of the alternator. I paid to have the alternator fixed, received my car and the problem had finally been fixed.After that experience I feel as if the service department is trying to pull a fast one on me and just wants me to pay for things that dont even need to be fixed. Did I really need to have new wires/spark plugs, did I need a new battery? Im just glad I declined their other recommendations of transmission fluid replacement and new power steering hose as I feel those likely do not need to be replaced at this time.I feel like the mechanics at Gateway Chevrolet solely want to fix problems that are not even problems, and they dont care about the chief complaints of the customers.Do the mechanics not look over their own work to make sure the problem is fixed? The pulsing of the lights on my car was so obvious, all you had to do was turn the car on to see if the problem was fixed or not. The interior lights pulsed when they were on, the headlights pulsed when they were on, Traci said the pulsing lights would have given her a headache if she had to drive that car for long (thats how obvious the pulsing was). The mechanics need to do their job and check over their work before charging customers money.I plan on finding a different GM certified mechanic in Fargo for my further maintenance. Though, I will miss Traci and her positive attitude.

Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Excell, he was very professional and courteous. I explained that I was coming in from out of town to get an oil change and that I was near and hour early. Without any questions I was told that they could handle it. I was given directions to the waiting area and 45 minutes later I was road ready again. I brought my Silverado in for the rear window recall and an oil change. The service department was very prompt and courteous and took care of the work as promised. I received a complimentary car wash after the service, this was much appreciated and a nice touch. I also was also offered a ride home while the work was being done, the dealership called me when the work was finished and sent a driver to my house to pick me up so I could pick up my vehicle. The driver was very courteous and prompt, keep up the good work!

Well its easy to say that this place is hands down the best place Ive been to. I was traveling from Montana to Wisconsin and my truck went into limp mode. I brought it in for service and I was treated like I was family from the beginning. Not only did I show up without an appointment, I also showed up with a car hauler attached and my dog with me. They said no need for an appointment we will get this taken car of for you. They first gave me a spot to off load my trailer with my classic mustang attached to it. then the staff greeted me and my dog with open arms and allowed my dog to be in the waiting room. Everyone loved my dog and treated him like he was their own. They figured out the problem unfortunately they didnt have the part in stock but they overnighted the part. They got me a rental but the most impressive thing, they even went as far as calling up hotels for me and got me the best deal around. Took care of the reservation and everything for me. They truly went way above and beyond. They even went as far as picking up my trailer for me and put it in their secure lot so nothing would happen to it.Fast forward to the next day they got the part in and fixed it right away. And I was back on the road in no time. They also went and faught GM to have them reimburse the hotel I stayed at. I cant express how much it was a pleasure to work with them. I want to give a big about out to traci,jenny and all the lovely staff there thank you very much.

We also dealt with Marc Strahm, the sales manager. He was so professional and great to work with! We can use the same adjectives that we used above for Danielle, for Marc! This pair together were so respectful to us and to each other. It is so great to see a working relationship like this with true respect for each other. They both made our buying experience fun! Of course, we also dealt with the finance manager, Chris Lehfeldt. He was also very respectful, caring, kind, happy, smiley, great listener, explained EVERYTHING, patient, professional, and personable. The three of these working together and the respect they had for each other and us, was one of the best buying experiences we have ever had. (and we are in our 60s!) We cant forget the young man that washed our new vehicle for us before we left! He even came and showed us his smile and pride in his work, and to make sure we were happy with the cleanliness of the vehicle. We are sorry we didnt catch his name (next time we will!) Just bought a new van. Salesman was named Jeremy. Super nice, super helpful.. update after the sale is what counts the most. Previously rated 5 stars, changed to 2 stars. Different vehicle bought Previously brought in for service for the first time. Price was absolutely ridiculous! One coil and one little coil wire. $450! Within the first 10 minutes to diagnose your car and the misc. Shop supplies(the paper towel the mechanic wipes his hands on when hes done) we were already at $175. Factor in the 100% markup on the parts and another $135 hr for labor, I guess thats how you come up with $450 for an hour and fifteen. After totally putting the screws to me,, he did give me a $20 off coupon he found otherwise it would have been $470.Car only had 27000 miles on it, shouldnt have fell apart already in the first place. Wouldnt recommend the camaro to anyone. Thats okay, I am in the market for another car for my daughter. It wont be chevy...

Been waiting over 2hrs now for an oil change. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Nice waiting room and free coffee so thats cool I guess.UPDATE: 2 1/2 hours now. Might be better off heading over to the Bakken and pumping the oil myself.UPDATE2: Hey, they gave me $15 off for the wait. 2hrs 40min total.Im guessing it was just a bad day, hopefully next time will be a better experience.UPDATE:Stopped in there today for an oil change and the experience was excellent. Took about and hour, my service rep Heidi was great, and they washed my truck. Price was competitive to any place in town. The report they gave me was detailed and very understandable. I will go back again.

There was definitely regret leaving the dealership knowing that I paid $1100 in labor for 4 hours of work(2 hoses and 2 fluid changes). The hoses and fluid were $300 of that total. The invoices themselves are not as detailed as they should be indicating the hours. Fix It Forward will be the only place we take our vehicle in the future since they clearly and honestly give you a very detailed summary of work. I checked with other dealerships around town and Gateway has one of the highest hourly rates. The employees are good workers, but I somehow feel as though all that money isn’t going to the people who make that place run. Don’t be a Corwin...

I am a owner operator. I was on the way to pick up load had a welded clamp break on air to air on my 3500 hd. I called parts to see if they had it. Yes they did !! That was the best feeling. To top it off I asked if anyway at all they could get me in. Service lady went explained it to manager said might be 2 hours. I said super!! They were the best from parts to service from start to finish!! They had me in and did a recall as well in 2 hours!! It was easy work for them however not the point. BEST EVER TREATMENT AT A DEALER EVER HAD!! if they are not #1 in ND they should be for sure superb service not enough stars for the help. Thanks so much!!
