Went to pick up some vans for my girl. Staff here acted like I wasn’t there. When someone finally helped me, I was told that they didn’t have her size. I asked if I could order them and they just said no. Didn’t even offer to help me pick something else. Whoever runs this store needs to find a better staff because right now they care more about talking to each other and flirting than they do about helping paying customers.
Horrible customer service! West Acres store walked out and will not waste my time or money here again. Rude staff, want to support stores to keep them open but will order online from another place before ever coming back.
I found shoes I liked but didnt buy them because the staff were not very nice or helpful.
Very helpful in finding my son find the perfect shoe. They didnt seem bothered by all my questions and were ready to answer them and retrieve as many shoes as my son needed without making us feel like we were bothering them. Very professional
Excellent service. Kalysta was very helpful!
I will never buy from the West Acres Journeys store again!!! I wanted to exchange a pair of Vans...I told them there WERE worn in the house to see if they would stretch some... The manager said they were with outside even though I told them different... The shoes were not in a condition that they couldnt be exchanged!!!
I bought a pair of vans for my daughter from journeys in west acres mall in fargo N.D. She wore them for about 3 weeks and they started coming apart on the sole right at the front where your toes are. I brought them back in to the store and the manager (Terri) told me she wouldnt take them back because my daughter was dragging her foot. First, I am wondering if she goes through some sort of training to understand if a shoe is wearing out in a certain area what how the person wearing it is walking incorrectly? Secondly, If you try to walk or drag your foot in a way that would wear out the part of your soul of the shoe that is right under your toe it is almost impossible to do. The only thing I could think of is if my daughter was doing the moon walk to much and I am guessing that is not the case. Finally, She was just rude and another employee of the store was just standing behind her shaking his head yes over and over. She kept telling me she was the manager of the store (I think that made her feel important) but she needs to learn how to deal with people in a better way. When I was walking out of the store she said very sarcastically, have a nice day. The best part is I called the Journey website and they apologized for the way she acted and emailed me a return address slip if it was within 30 days of purchase (which is what it was but the store manager didnt care). I bought 4 pairs of shoes at that store in seven months (I have six people in my family) and I will never shop there again. Guess its back to old faithful Scheels where there are never any questions about what is wrong and telling me I dont walk correctly and the service there is so great. Also, I have never left a bad review before, just really frustrating service.
The manager working at the West Acres mall location made me never want to shop there again. I arrived there with my sister and was promptly greeted and assisted by one of the workers while she stood by the counter BERATING the people working. Extremely loud and in front of a store full of customers. Almost yelling and repeating over and over how she’s the ‘manager’ and how they would like to take that stress on. They were obviously teens and I felt so sorry for them. I think a change in management is needed. No thanks, I’ll order from online from now on.
Very helpful employees. Minimal store space, with tons of sizing options available in all shoe options. Decent pricing on hoodies and backpacks as well.
Was going to buy a pair of uggs that had a price listed of $99, when they were rang up they rang up at 109.99 after the purchase we checked the price thinking it may have been my mistake but the price on the shoe said 99.99 the manager would not refund the extra cash even though the purchase was made a minute before. Horrible customer service. Will not shop at a journeys again.
I bought a pair of shoes, and the sales associate was poorly trained. She was unaware of what socks to sell me and told me to wing it. The shoes themselves are fabulous! But the staff is in need of some training.
Wow...horrible experience shopping here today. One girl working was visiting with a group of 5-6 friends in the middle of this tiny store for 5-10 minutes and not acknowledging any actual customers. One other employee got us the shoe size we needed, then disappeared in the back. After trying on, we stood at the counter for 5+ minutes to pay. Girl visiting friends continued to visit, even coming to the counter to get her Starbucks, look at me and return to friends. No other employees on the floor. Girl visiting friends finally goes behind register and tells girl in back “the store is full of people, can you help?” She peeks her head out and looks at customers and both girls disappear to back room. I left my purchase on the counter and will not shop here again.
Great place to get new kicks for the whole family. They dont jam shoes down your throat like Tradehome does.
