The service at this place is excellent. I didnt even buy my rig there, but when I come in with questions or need help with something the staff is always quick with some helpful guidance. Nice to know that for a novice like myself, there is a place like this.

While not a giant hobby store, theyll get what you want and have a little of everything. The guys working there are extremely friendly and helpful with answering any questions you may have! I will definitely be back to pick up more fun things to build!

It was nice to find a hobby place besides the one other popular hobby place in town.This place is more for the serious hobbyist then the average crafter. But they had a selection of paints and colors unavailable at the larger more popular store.It was refreshing to walk into a place and actually find what I wanted instead of hearing frustrating reasons why they dont have something or cant get it.And the staff at Hobby Hut were very knowledgeable. They spoke from experience not conjecture, so I felt confident in my purchase.I intend to return to expand both my supplies and experience.

They were super helpful! the person I talked to when I got in was able to help me pick out upgraded parts and replacements for my traxxas car within 15min! Super impressed with their knowledge and I took their advice on certain parts and that was an amazing decision!

Its primarily a place for model trains, cars, and planes. However youll find some cool, unusual board games, miniatures (with paint), some small scale electronic kits, etc. There is also a small selection of roleplaying books. Worker was friendly too.

Bought a used car over the weekend... Decided i wanted to upgrade the motor from a brush motor to a brushless motor... Then went in the day after memorial day and bought a Traxxas stampede... Got advice from a staff member named Addison who really took the extra time to help us and is extremely knowledgeable. Great store and a lot of items for the small venue. Its nice to be able to support a local (ish, I live an hour north) hobby shop. The expertise they have was instrumental for someone starting out in model railroading. Prices are good too for a local shop, even had some locomotives at a steep discount (including a Union Pacific Big Boy that was $150 lower than MSRP) You can tell the employees are passionate about their hobbies and I often lose track of time. Matt helped me out with building techniques and wiring. Even helped me when I explained I was getting kinks in my flextrack, which seems to be a common issue with new hobbyists. Going again tomorrow and I know I will not be disappointed!

Only Rc shop in fargo but these guys know there stuff i have a total of 9 rc cars and they have answered every question about every car i have and i have diff brands i suggest check out there stock and buy from them before going online and possibly make an exspensive mistake

Had everything we needed

I took my son there to get parts for his RC car and was completely talked down to and the associate rolled his eyes at me. I had to say what brand it was or they couldnt even help us. I realize its not a $3,000 RC vehicle but really...there was no need to be disrespectful and rude just because we dont spend thousands of dollars on toys. All in all, they were unhelpful and we ended up ordering our parts online. Also, way to make a child feel like his toy is unimportant.

Clean looking store. Friendly customer service. Alot of RC stuff as well as model trains. But the reason I go is for Gundam models, hobby paints and DND minis.

Ive been to a lot of hobby stores and this one was the most unfriendly establishment Ive been to. I read reviews online prior to stopping by and unfortunately, I got the complete opposite. On 6/22/19, I came in with my girlfriend and received no greeting at all whatsoever. I took it in consideration that one of the employees was helping out a customer but the other couldve said something. After the customer left, another customer came in a few minutes later and received a warm greeting. Once I witnessed this (since the store is small), that gave the signal to leave. The customer came in quickly for a return and was gone before I left. Even as I left, they didnt even acknowledge me at all whatsoever. Although they didnt have many model airplanes, they had one Ive been looking for and was willing to buy it. However, I will not be purchasing from this place at all. Very Rude and simple customer service was distasteful. I will not return, regardless if they had what I want.

I went to Hobby Hut with my wife a week back, I was so excited to see the stuff, staff was very friendly and helpful, I just took a round of the shop saw the price of the cars and came out of the shop. Actually I need to buy remote control motorcycle which I didnt find it there, I think I will go one more time I might get something good.

Hobby hut is awesome! The owner is always so kind and friendly. Very knowledgeable group of guys all around. Deffinetly recommend buying your hobby toys here rather then online, you may pay more in taxes, but support the locals please!

Out of magazines that was looking for. He is having trouble getting them in due to the Pandemic.

The have a good selection of scratch building supplies. Especially the styrene and various brass wire and piano wire. Also plastruct beams and tubes. Good paint on hand and always all the train and fine scale modeling magazines. Armor vehicles models are here and lots of war games and dungeons and dragons.

Go to place for model rockets. Love the selection and the people who work here are amazingly helpful. They also have a decent selection of board games, tabletop RPG books, and model painting supplies. It seems like model trains are their forte, about a third of the store is dedicated to them. Kinda makes me want to get into it.

Pretty good I went to get a battery and paddle tires they had the perfect battery for my traxxas slash but they didnt have paddle tires but thats just because its winter and everyone wants paddle tires I havent been there in 7 years and I still know where most of the stuff is.

The have postage stamp diecast which is awesome. They also have a little of everything else.

If you are into surface vehicles, and model trains ect... great selection. Id say reasonable on prices. However the fixed wing aspect is lacking. Would be great if they had scratch build items such as props, motors, escs, push rods ect... I think that would appeal to alot of people like me. I would rather drive 45 miles and purchase something in person v.s. waiting for shipping. The hobby shops across the U.S. are slowly dwindling away. Id love to spend money here, just not much for fixed wing items is my only qualm. Overall they have a great selection of other items.

The little kid in us, will appreciate this store..i enjoy being able to act like a kid agian, and talking of building model trucks, and kit bashing multiple kits, model rockets, HO scale trains, rc cars, helicopters.
