Cant say enough nice things about this store. All the associates are friendly and they take time to learn who you are and what sorts of stuff youre into. They host fun events and always have great suggestions on what to pick up or what to reserve. The store is always super clean and well organized.

Worker was rude and rushed us. They werent even close to closing! We overheard them saying they wanted slurpees and think thats why they rushed us. We were browsing games and had some in our hands and he said you found your games Ill take them and get them for you then we werent done looking and he was behind the counter and said okay I have your games like he was ready for us to check-out. We also said our membership had expired, hoping he would renew it, he didnt even offer. Just overall rude. Then we got hone and one of our games was missing And we had to go back! Bad experience. Will not be returning to this location even though it is very close to home I will be driving further to get better service. I hope his slurpee was good because our service sure wasnt.

The store is great but corporate customer service is a joke. They don’t even answer emails, we have been waiting for a switch for 6 months under warranty.. how about a refund if you can’t meet the obligations of your contract? Glad I am an attorney and will deal with in court. Contact me if have similar problems for a class action

The people who work here are the best. Always super knowledgeable and quick to help me find exactly what I am looking for. I turned in a warrantied xbox one controller today and they didnt have the same one, so they let me pick from a few different styles (that were way cooler looking) at the same price point. They always have the answers and i appreciate their existence. Theyre so much cooler than the people who work at the one by my old house.

Went in today and it was all cleaned up and rearranged and nice and organized. The guy at the counter was knowledgeable and helpful as well, and down to earth.

Ive been a regular at a few GameStop based on where Ive lived but none compare to this one. No even counting the sheer amount of awesome stuff this location sells but James alone is a reason to keep going back. Dude is awesome to talk to and will genuinely take care of anything you need. I would drive past other GameStops just to come to this one if I ever moved.

Hands down best GameStop Ive ever been too!! Had a few problem but the store manager was more the happy to fix them and did right away. If I could give 10 stars this store would have definitely earned it.

This is my favorite game stop. I love to go here to shop for my Funko Pop Figures, T-Shirts, and video games. They also have a great selection of clearance items. If youre a gaming nerd or a nerd in general this is where you have to be.

Dont ever try to sell games/controllers here. You will get ripped off like at most game stops. They tried telling me my barely used Xbox controller joystick wear and wouldnt take it because it would have to be marked as a defective product. I sold it on eBay for $10 and the buyer has zero complaints.

Stood at the counter for over 15 minutes, one person working and he was on the phone the whole time. Walked out without buying anything (still on the phone, two other customers followed), went next door to Target and picked up the game for the same price..... Better off somewhere else if your buying new.....

One of the guys fought with me because he didnt want to give me the metal case THAT WAS ON DISPLAY FOR.PEOPLE TO GRAB AND BUY... for the GAME I WANTED. I HONESTLY THINK that he wanted tontake the case home it for himself... And then proceeded to basically tricke me and say Oh I almost gave you the wrong CD that would have been bad... I get home and it is the wrong game... went back up and he was gone but the person there tried to fix it but turns out they didnt even have that game in stock... If it werent for the 2nd person being so helpful I probably would have never come back just because I felt so cheated... he did It because I thought with him over a metal case when he had it displayed he could have just hid it behind the counter but whatever

Ive been going here all of my life and have always have had positive, and funny experiences. This is a great Gamestop no matter what new staff members come in and out.

Hate to review like this but is what it is. The normal staff and management is beyond amazing at this location. Had a African American employee be rude and argue non stop. Even once the manager took care of issue this idiot was still arguing with me and the manager. Complained to corporate about the idiot also. Fired

If i could give 0 stars, I would. Ive used this gamsetop for over a decade. When i recently bought my ps4 pro and had issues about 3 months into its lifetime. I had to send it to playstation because it was still under warranty (gamestop took 2 months to get me my reciept). In the meantime i bought a ps4 slim from them so i would have a system. Ive since gotten my ps4 pro back (playstation fixed it within a week). I went to trade in the ps4 slim today not return it and the employee went on to explain why they couldnt give me the full $200 trade value because he would need to charge over $50 for a refurbishing fee for some small scratches around the USB port. if it was refurbished when i bought it 3 months ago then the stratches wouldnt be there. I take excellent care of my things and i have no kids or anything like that. When Justin the manager left this location about a year back he unfortnately took the customer service with him. This location doesnt know what customer service means anymore. Do youself a favor and go anywhere else. There are plenty of places to sell/trade/buy games. I personally love disc replay in livonia about 5-6 miles from this location and they always give great service. Youve been warned

I wish I could give zero stars! I purchased an Xbox 1 at GameStop on grand river in Farmington hills Michigan. I returned it within the 7 day window WITH my receipt and credit card. I was told it Id get my money refunded to my account within 72 hours. That never happened so I called back the store and was informed that there was nothing they could do on their end. They gave me the customer service number.I called the customer service number was on hold for 15 minutes. Only to be answered by someone who hardly spoke English. I could not make out what was being said. I got transferred and transferred until I finally got ahold of someone whose broken English I could understand enough to carry on a conversation. They looked up my transaction and told me they were sorry but I was misinformed and it would be 7-10 business days. I waited the full 10 days and still my money was not returned to my bank account. I had to contact customer service again with another round of not being able to understand what they were saying and being transferred. I was apologized to and told to give it a few more days because I had returned my item on memorial weekend. Once again I waited a few more days. I called again. All of a sudden their story changed. They proceeded to inform me that they gave me a cash refund. THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! Why would I waste my time if I was given a cash refund?!I called my bank at this point. They issued a temporary credit. I received an e mail from my bank letting me know they were taking back the credit because GameStop provided them with a receipt that stated cash was given. I used my card! There was no cash. They somehow manufactured a receipt and now my money has been permanently stolen by the Farmington hills Michigan GameStop on grand river avenue.Im considering filing a police report. Ive never experienced anything like this in my life. More so then the money is the principal of the matter. I cant believe GameStop can get away with stealing my money!! Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am a 11 year old boy who was waiting for my preordered ps4. It was a birthday gift. I went to gamestop and ask the if the had it. They ended up selling it to someone els for more money. Now i have to wait in a line for one hour at another stop to buy it because a new game is coming out.

Garbage, the store is died. didnt accept my power up rewards discount because the whole idea is a scam and a rip off!!! its not even worth it, spend $500 for a $25 off discount?!?!? Im not coming back to this gamestop again, or any other gamestop at all. and besides, I live by 1 of gamestops competitor and Ill be happy to shop there.
