Was there for a simple oil change. Not allowed to stay in car like most other places. Entire process took an hour. Was forced to wait in a room with no air conditioning on a 90 day. And told must wear mask.

WOW! These guys are my favorite mechanics. For years I went to another oil change place, and they were good, always busy, but the guys here are awesome! They know their vehicles. And they are so energetic about their work. Their prices are good, the work is quality, and they walked me through everything to know about an FJ Cruiser. I honk every time I drive by on my way home. Great work!!!

I went here to get an oil change because I had a Groupon. It also included a full inspection. The main guy walked me into the room where my car was and pointed out “rust rings” On my brakes and said I should get new brakes ASAP and that it was pretty urgent. He also wrote me an estimate for what that would cost. I then started calling around to other mechanics to compare prices and Hal’s auto clinic asked if I was sure I needed all new brakes and rotors. I explained the situation so they said to bring it in for free and they’d take a look. Hal’s auto clinic said I could have at least 30,000 miles left until I need new brakes and said if it were his car, he wouldn’t change the brakes. Needless to say I won’t be going back to Meineke for this reason.

Absolutely great experience for my first time working with these mechanics! The mechanics were very friendly and knowledgeable! Took the time to actually show me what was going on with my exhaust pipes and explained what they could do to get me back on the road again. All the work was completed in a timely manner, had my car back within a day! Will definitely be coming to them again!

I called ahead and made an appointment for my lunch hour. I was greeted immediately. In and out inside for 35 minutes. Friendly, professional and fairly priced. Two thumbs up!!

Took my car in a few weeks ago to get my AC fixed and these guys took very good care of my car. I found then to be thorough, honest and reliable. I will be returning to get another issue fixed and for regular oil changes as well. I highly recommend this location.

The mechanics really cared about me as well as doing great work. I apparently brought them a vehicle that wasnt taken care of before I recieved it. They did extensive work to make sure I wasnt gonna die the next time I got into my vehicle, they educated me on alot about my vehicle on how to maintain it, what to look for, showed me exactly what the problem was, all while being very friendly and enjoyable humans explaining it where I understood what they were saying while not making me feel like I was being talked down to.

Shawn and TJ are the best! My husband and I got a flat tire and pulled onto the side street next to Meineke on Grand River to change it. My husband who is 67 was getting the jack ready to change the tire when 2 young men came out of Meineke with their hydraulic jack . They removed the tire, plugged the hole, put the tire back on our vehicle and we were on our way! Thank you for your kindness and care for strangers. We appreciate it so much!

Came in about a week ago, you guys werent sure if my oil drain plug was stripped or not.. I actually got it checked out and brought it back it was fine after all. However I was refused service because you guys said you cant tell if a drain plug is stripped or not.. Im here with a review just because it didnt set well with me, the tone and the yelling about how you didnt believe me.. either way I took it to another oil change location where they confirmed everything was just fine.. got my oil changed, no leaking, no issues a week later. That couldve been handled way more professionally.. sometimes if you cant help you should just hush, no reason to be rude or super loud.

Service was quick and quite affordable. Staff took the time to explain what was wrong with my vehicle and what they needed to do to repair it.The waiting area is pretty basic and not very conducive to working while you are waiting. A small table and access to an outlet to charge devices would have been nice.

This is a good neighborhood auto repair shop. The owner Josh is nice, professional and provides excellent customer service at affordable prices. The Auto Techs Shawn and DJ, are knowledgeable and always inform the customer on repairs of service! Ive been doing business with them for 6 years now, so I would recommend them to anyone.

I have worked with both the old owners (the actual Gabi) and now the new owners. The current owners exceeded my expectations. My 2011 Equinox was in dire straights. The engine literally blew up and needed a replacement engine. I was out of warranty by 9K miles. In my shopping around for prices, I talked with Adam and had him quote the replacement. He was almost $2K less than my other quote and offered a great warranty on the engine. I had it towed there and they did the work. They were quick and extremely knowledge. It had a small issue after the replacement and they took care of it with no questions or additional cost (needed engine sensors replaced). Great job guys! My car is running great. Thank you to everyone over there!

Excellent service, they took a look at my car on short notice (about 20 minutes), knew what was wrong, and started working on the fix after explaining to me what needed to be done. Charged me a very reasonable price for everything and did good work on the vehicle. Id recommend them to anyone.

They didnt accept the coupons that they said online that they accepted. My air was cool, then he did a a/c check, and now its blowing hot air. So now Im stuck with hot air coming out.

Great customer service, got the work done very quickly and even gave me a bunch of information for future heads up. Ron even gave me a lift home since I lived in the neighborhood. Thanks guys.

The mechanics at the Meineke are fantastic. They walked me through EVERYTHING!! Explained & showed me what needed to be worked on and why. I will tell everybody that I know because they are really on point!!!

Could not be happier with the service I received from Manager Ron, and techs Shawn and TJ. I Showed up at 2 Pm on a Friday with an exhaust leak, the were able to squeeze me in and have it fixed within an hour and a half. The price was more than fair, IMO! Great bunch of guys. I will be back!

The mechanic Adam, claimed he changed my rack and pinion and charged me 500 dollars that he said i had to pay in cash. I did not get a receipt so i know he did it on the side at the shop now that i think about it. now lets fast forward a few months later to where I had a power steering leak and i took it to another shop and they said he replaced a line and spray painted the rack and pinion to make it look new. What kind of shop is this? Good to know the manager and mechanic (adam) is a thief.

I went by there to get an oil change at 4:15 a few days ago and they were closed. The sign said open till 6. I have never seen a mechanic shop just close 2 hours early. When i called the next day someone answered and gave me a lot of attitude. I will never come here again

This place is a complete rip off, called them earlier for heater repair anf I have already gotton the diagnose. They wont do it inless they wanna charge me $100 to look at it and no estimate on it. Never again

Gabis a great guy. I come here for my oil changes and inspections. They dont try to sell me things that I dont need. Cars still running great (after 12 years).

I was thoroughly disappointed with this Meineke. They charged me for things that they didnt fix. Everything they attempted to fix was left off worse than it was before I left it. I left 6 things for them to repair on my vehicle and on 3 things were actually fixed. They ripped my convertible top and drilled holes in my door panel, etc...Then the Manager Alan denied all. This was after they had my car for a whole week. I would suggest that you stay away from this particular Meineke and if you dont heed this WARNING. Take as many pictures as you can, inside and out. Again, because they will deny any and all damages they caused or did.

Replaced pads that were demolished. Charged an awful lot, & the manager had poke the staff with a stick to get started on it, even with an appt. But the mechanic was great & the manager was super friendly.

I took my car here in November of 2015. After getting suspension and break work done, I took my receipt to someone I know who used to be an auto mechanic to see if it seemed reasonable. He said the costs were high, and that there was no reason for performance brakes to have been put on a Dodge Caliber as the kind on the receipt were more for sports cars and the like. Fast forward to today, I take my car in for a suspension problem. Part of the suspension was broken due to the poor quality struts that were put on my car that I was charged a lot for. I asked what kind of brakes were on my car and he said they were standard brakes, not the high performance ceramic brakes that I paid for and didnt need anyway. I took pictures of these issues before they put the tire back on so I could show them to my friend for a second opinion, to make the new mechanic wasnt trying to get extra work, and the new mechanic is correct. Unfortunately I seem to have thrown my receipt away while cleaning my car, so there is nothing I can do to report this unethical shop.

The new mechanics and the management is very very bad and also they want to Blame everything on the customers.My experience was I gave my car to change the tire rods and when I collected it there was front bumper damaged and I asked them how did this happen then the management started blaming me that I have damaged the bumper. Then I told to check their cameras and told to show me the video footage then they started a story telling that their camera dint record only my car and then the management started shouting at me and behaved very bad.

First time at a Meineke and received A+ customer service. Will definitely be coming back.

RUN! This is the worst auto service center Ive ever been to. They should be shut down. Im writing this review so someone else wont go though what I went through. I called and asked it they could do a timing chain replacement. They said yes and quoted a proce of $1600. I told them that this is what the dealership told me. They talk me out of getting the timing chain replaced and instead said that the Cam and Crank sensors were bad, and the timing chain was still good. I was so happy but not for long. I thought this was great, the quotes that I got for the timing chain ranged from $1600 to $2300. The sensor replacement was about $400. I thought that they saved me a lot of money. I was wrong! When I picked my car up, Adam, the main mechanic at Meineke told me I was all set. I paid the money and got in my car. As soon as I started my car the engine light was still on and the engine rpms were over 3000 in park. I went back in and told him. He did something and rpms came down but the engine light was still on. He said the car had to go through 3 complete on/off driving cycles and then the engine light would go off. He said that he drove 1of the needed cycles. I got in my car and drove home. I didnt get home before the ABS light/ Service Stability Trak error came on. Coincidence, i dont think so. I took the car back to him the next day, 3 cycles completed by then and still the engine light was on. About $350 more dollars and again when i picked my car up the engine light was still on. But this time Adam had gone home for the day. Another mechanic checked the error code and told me i would need to have Adam look at my car. This was Friday. On Saturday i call and talked to Adam and he wanted me to bring my car up to the shop on Sunday, a day when the shop isnt supposed to be open. He said he would be doing some work on his own care this day. I did NOT take my car back there. Enough was enough! Only incompetent mechanics work there. As a result of this I did have to get the timing chain replaced by another auto service center. I wouldnt even get a simple oil change here! I hope this helps someone make the right choice. Dont get work done on your car here. They are not knowledgeable enough to even be in business.

Terrible service. I was told one price and then they suddenly doubled it because they said I “had the wrong appointment request” even though I called and asked about it. Never coming back.

Went there at 5:45 to talk about dropping my car off and the whole place was closed. the hours say six, i will never go to this business again. please stand by your hours. the shop is not that busy anyway, which probably means something.
