Get too the door find out you have too call for curbside only, zero listing of what they have but they askk that you know what you want before you call.

Fraud! Here’s the explanation,Seriously guys? You thought I wouldn’t know the difference between good quality baby goat meat and some random quality lamb? They said they are not allowing customers inside, no issues, so I ordered from outside 2lbs of supposedly “baby goat” and it doesn’t even taste close to it, and you overpriced it as well. Should have gone to Famous Meats like usual.

The style of this place is very old school where the chicken is hand picked by the butcher for his store. Given that their chicken is consistently brought fresh sometimes from same day stock pick, the work for the butcher is constant and fresh. This is a small place but its very clean and people are very friendly. I enjoy the fact that you call in your order so that you dont have to wait in line. Also their chicken are very fresh and big. In particular their chickens are bread fresh and naturally and feed clean food which makes a difference on size and taste.

These guys are genuine, Unlike Famous meats.I am not endorsing anyone.Its based on my experience from past 11 years.

Namaste has a lot of options for sea food and we get fresh meat (chicken, goat, rabbit, etc) as well for a reasonable price. We shop there almost every week, but it’s crowded all the times so it is better to order aged to avoid the line. It’s not very clean and smells.

Some days you get fresh meat and other day really bad one

A friend told me to come here recently and im glad to say i was not disappointed. They have a wide selection of meat and other delicious foods at a reasonable price. Would recommend without a doubt.

The new place is still smelly and crowded. Owner is careless towards customer except he replies thank you(he wont even look at customer face when saying thank you) and takes long time to deliver the order any time.The customer service is getting worse day by day. we asked for a whole chicken(Includes all pieces in a whole chicken) cut into big pieces. They first gave me chicken cut into small pieces and started saying that they are big pieces. when i insisted and explained that they gave me big pieces previously, they went back and brought big pieces.Made me wait for an hour overall. And to my surprise on reaching home, i find that the chicken they gave me has only breast pieces in it. I wonder how a whole chicken can have only breast pieces in it!!??. looks like cheap business of selling other parts of the chicken separately and giving the useless stuff they have in abundance, to the customers by cheating them! They are not loyal to what they say. They have a new definition for whole chicken or any item they sell. when asked,they are stern and rude!!

I usually look to buy full goat meat and I prefer buying mid sized goat. Because, baby got meat doesn’t carry the flavor of a mid size goat meat but has softer bones and obviously lesser meat) and everytime I come here for goat meat, am delighted or may be I am lucky to get the best goat meat across neighborhood. I tried goat meat form other stores (couple of times) located near Halsted junction (F) and the other one located at Orchard Lake road (J). None of them were close enough to the quality and freshness of the meat I get from Namaste. From my personal experience, I find Namaste to be the best of all meat shops around neighborhood. Farm fresh and friendly staff. Usually busy during weekends. Nevertheless, if you need quality and good meat, come here and you will not be disappointed.FYI: Baby goat (11lb to 14lb): Less flavor, Less meat, Tender bones and meat, less fat, less time to cookMid size Goat (15lb to 20lb): Medium fat, good flavor, hard bones, good amount of meat not too hard and not too softWell grown (>20lb): more fat, Bigger bones, more meat but bit hard and takes time to cook. Flavor rich!

I have been used to this shop but it is not consistent always. Some time he gives exactly what I ask for some time he mess up. Specially when you go end of day he gave the meat that he packed it for some body instead of what I ordered . Be careful!!! Usually prefer to get goat and chicken from this shop. Chicken are not much different, goat depends on time to time.

Polite, friendly, quick. Has Halal friendly meat for anyone who follows that. I dont, but its better when it either Halal or Kosher, I promise. Got some great young goat for my pregnant, carribean, goat-meat craving wife.

We are regular customers for namaste chicken point usually we go there for organic chicken n country chicken. This time we went to take goat meat but he is mixing goat meat with lamb and selling to customers. So please be aware of this.

Meat is generally good, I am not a big fan of their fish... There isnt too much of a line so be prepared to hustle for your turn..

Excellent vendor for chicken fish, and lamb

Customer Service is a myth here in all aspects. They stock and sell old meat at a high price, and the place is smelly and unhygenic. Although they put a polite facade, I feel there is a tendency to cheat customers by weiging the meat before clean cutting and pricing on that basis. The first (and definitely the last) time I went to get goat meat, the amount I got after cleanning and cutting was 25% less that what I was charged for. Even then, I got mostly the bony pieces. Will look for other options for meat in future.

Fresh meat. Waiting times are bit lengthy, but choice of sea food, meat cuts and quality are excellent.

You get what you want, nice and fresh chicken, mutton and fish the best than frozen foodexpecting butcher shop as to equal of shopping mall makes no sense

BEWARE! Being very close my Apartment - No matter how many times I tried to come Back most of the times I was very disappointment and Yesterday(Sunday) had the worst experience. I ordered for 2 whole chicken and he gave me 6lbs. After looking at the chicken I noticed that it was slightly yellowish in color and asked the guy if it was fresh, and obviously received an YES. After going home noticed that the chicken given was LEG Quarters - I pretty much sure that leg quarters are cheap but it doesnot mean you give to customers what ever you cut inside and give it away. Please stop cheating customers by giving leg quarters and pricing them for whole chicken rate.Having the advantage of cutting meat inside - These guys try to push away old stock, and use cheaper product like leg Quarters when whole chicken is ordered. Not sure what else they are doing! Noticed this couple of times but recent one was a disaster with the kind of quality they provided....
