Great prices and great selection of sporting goods. I drove 3 1/2 hours to get a gun safe. I called and they held for 24 hrs me. All around great experience for my first time there. The men and women there were very helpful and nice. I pan to go back

The first time I went in the place. It was great. I will be going back. So many things to see I didnt get to see everything.

A bit pricey but what farm supply isnt. Sometimes difficult to get assistance but otherwise a good place to go. Organized layout makes things easier to find. We have had luck with getting chickens from them so far. A large variety in Rural King from shoes to fencing outdoor furniture to equipment they have it. Probably the largest farm supply Ive visited and has one of the largest sections for cats and dogs Ive seen yet. They carry a large variety of feed and supplies for animals farm and domestic. If you need it they most likely have it. Staff treat you with respect and dignity from what we have experienced. Its worth the 30 minute drive. And dont forget the free popcorn! Reminds me when I was a kid going in the farm and home store.

This is an awesome state park. The campsites are extremely roomy and contain quite a bit of shade. Shower house is very clean but the showers could use a little spray to them. The lakes were cool (both verbally and temperature wise) and we did a Learn 2 Kayak class here. Eric and Sarah were great guides.

This store has absolutely everything. Theyve got gorgeous jewelry, belt buckles, boots, jeans, etc. Theyve also got supplies to care for every animal you could ever imagine owning. Their clothes are very high quality and I know I can trust every brand they carry.

Went here for lunch today and food was really good. Weve had breakfast here several times and they are very good. Waitress very friendly and efficient. I was so happy there was a handicapped bathroom

Still my favorite place to go for ...well...just about anything. The womens boot selection is very slim pickings here lately though.

Watch your receipt closely, I grabbed brake cleaner it stated it was 2.49 was charged 4.49.Lawnmower belt was tagged at 14.99 was charged 16.99. Wanted the dewalt tool box it was tagged on isle rack at 49.99 the sticker on the box said 69.99 and it rang up 79.99…… Get it together rural king!I feel taken advantage of and probably won’t go back.

As always Rural King has those difficult to find or large volume items that other Home Improvement stores lack due to the clientele they market to. Needed 50 lbs. of grass seed, nothing fancy just to hold the soil in place from grading an area on my property after setting a 20 Conex in place. As well as the straw to cover the seed until it sprouts.I cant wander around in there otherwise Ill walk out with a truck load of stuff that I didnt know I needed, lol. Thanks for all of you that are coming to work.

Employees are always very helpful and polite! My kids love going and walking around and the seeing the baby chicks and bunnies

Ive bought a bunch of live birds from them of all types and sizes, from chickens to guineas and they were all healthy and thriving. Yes they are cheaper to order online, but this avoids the stress of shipping them again. They even have bunnies! Huge clean store, friendly staff. Sometimes hard to round up someone to help you and I wish there was a bit more variety sometimes (looking for Rex buns) but considering the state of affairs in the world at the moment they are doing well. A bit pricey on some things, great deals on others. If I have to go to Farmington to a bigger store than we have locally in Potosi, Im thrilled that Rural King is available.

I have been looking for a certain product that I can’t find in Perryville. We are originally from Illinois and had no trouble finding it. After checking our hardware stores I called Rural King in Farmington to see if they had what I was looking for. A young lady answered and transferred me to another young lady who was in the department I needed. I gave her the name of the product and told her that it takes approximately 45 minutes to get there from Perryville so before I make the drive I wanted to verify if I could get the product. She put me on hold a few minutes and came back. Her response “I THINK we have it”! Again I told her I wanted to be very sure before I make the drive. She said “yes, we do have it…I’M PRETTY SURE”!!! I asked her if she went to that section and checked and she said “I’m there now….I am pretty sure we have it”! I said do you see it? She said no!! I got no where!!! 😳

Love going here they have everything you need except perishable food. I like to see the chicks, ducks, turkey and bunnies. Even saw somebody with their Great Dane.

Ordered parts for my Craftsman lawn mower from Sears Parts Direct and got some wrong parts. Went to Rural King and their parts guy helped me find all the parts I needed and even pressed the bushing into the bearing for me. Great experience.

Me and a couple of friends were browsing around towards the end of the night. As we were carrying on an employee accused us of shoplifting. We told him that we werent and that we were leaving shortly. He then proceeded to stand at the exit and stare at us. As we walked out he acted like he was calling the cops. As we entered the vehicle we noticed that him and another employee had followed us out and attempted to take photos of our vehicle. This customer service is disgusting and unprofessional.

First time there since we dont have one in my area (we will have one next year tho!!). Ive heard lots about it so I stopped when I went to Farmington today. Absolutely loved it!!!

They have the most variety of dog food I love and so do my pets... alot of really cool things to look at, I really enjoyed it.

As much as I enjoy finding treasure at Rural King, I abhor the management decision to use the parking lot as retail space. On our most recent visit about 2/3of the parking lot was blocked off including the majority of the accessable parking.

They have quit selling bibovers. Thats totally wrong as many people in this area wears bibs.

They have a little of everything and reasonably priced on a lot of things.

Husband arrived store was HOT! No A/C only one large fan. Found the item he was looking for went straight to checkout. Only one cashier on duty, holding up her line to argue with a customer about the price of the 4 CHICKS being purchased. After twenty minutes of waiting my husband stated how he was very unsatisfied with the service and a manager finally came to check him out.

The store itself is great. BUT...the parking lot SUCKS! WAY too small, and then, on top of that, its being stuffed with spring plants, trees and stuff. It needs to be corrected.

Purchased a bunny. Have had the bunny for 5 months. Had to wait until they were 6 months old to get them fixed. Found out this morning my MALE bunny is actually a FEMALE bunny. Now I get to pay $35 MORE to spay her. I deliberately asked for a MALE. if youre going to sell bunnies, learn how to tell them apart.

Its a great store. Wish they offered loose top soil, and they had more stock of bulbs and flowers. Some things were very wilted as though over watered.

We had a bad experience with a guy back by the guns. He was very rude and unprofessional. Wont be back unless absolutely necessary. Dont want to give them any stars but wasnt able to.

Was kicked of store property for no reason. Was shopping had cart full of items I was going to purchase when two officers and a store employee walk up saying I need to leave premises. I had to abandon my items that I spent a good hour shopping for. They demanded I give them my drivers license and had me sign a paper saying I was to be fined if I return to rural king. I ask multiple time what I had done and they never told me why. Ive spent $1000s at that store. Ive purchased firearms, it is where I get all my sthil stuff from. I was a driver for pepsi and made deliveries there once every two weeks. Never had a problem with any employee no issues what so ever. Thier loss I was a very good customer I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Escorted out of store by two officers in front of everyone. These are people from my home town, my comunity looking at me like Im some kind of criminal. That cant be undone. Mind you I did nothing and they wouldnt even answer me when I ask them why. Police demanded my drivers license looking ran my info I assume to try and find warrants with no reason what so ever. Done this In front of everyone. Not only that after they was done with me they went after some other poor guy to do the same thing to him. Dont shop at this store unless you want to be treated like a criminal. And just think I was going to buy a log splitter from them. They need to seriously look into that stores management. People will forever think I was stealing or broke the law some how when. Its just like rural king drug my name through the dirt. I did nothing I am an honest man who make an honest living I have no criminal record. Im a good Christian. Shame on rural king for treating me this way. I am glad my son and daughter was not there to see this. I was escorted all the way to my vertical. People do not deserve to be treated this way.

Great place to find all your outdoor plants and trees.

The layout is very similar to any farm superstore, however the parking lot was half taken up with stock and very crowded. It was difficult to get around in order to park. The prices are decent, but unless it isnt crowded I will try to go somewhere else.

My wife and i was shopping at the store on the 21st of October. My wife wanted to see if they had any dog sweaters. A nice gentlemen named George was helping her. All of a sudden some lady named who works there, couldnt tell. No way to tell, like a name badge or anything, asked George what he was doing? He said helping a customer. Jennifer actually told him not to worry about helping my wife, because it was not his job. She walked away. Im sorry but we are customers. Actually were customers. My wife and i actually left our things we bought, and walked out. We will never shop there again. George was very helpful. But Jennifer, a piss poor customer service. Rural King. You lost a customer for life.
