I visited Cooper at the Fenton location and he was very helpful, non pressuring, and was very knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping here! I went in thinking I knew what I wanted but when I explained what the intent was, Doug offered a perfect solution. He really listened to my needs, paid attention to my style, and found the perfect furniture for me. Then, to top it off, he helped me pick the absolute perfect pillow fabrics to coordinate with the chair. I never felt rushed or pressured to make any choice. Ordered our couch and chair back in the first week of November 2020 and was told that they would arrive within 12-16 weeks. It is now the second week of May 2021 and we still have not received them. When we have called for updates on our furniture we have been given multiple different dates of when it would be arriving and multiple different reasons for what is causing the delay. Were told by management that they would personally follow up with us weekly and that has not happened. Will never by furniture here again. Very disappointing experience!

Kara was excellent to work with and helped me finalize all the details that make our furniture fit our space perfectly. After waiting 3 months for a sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman for what seemed like a lot of money to me, I couldn’t be more disappointed. Buyer beware..what you’re sitting on in the store is not the cushion you’re going to get. Like sitting on rocks. I know using it might soften them up but who sits that much. I think it’s overpriced junk. Would never shop here again. Ethan Allen here I come next time. Same money....incredible difference.

My furniture shopping experience was wonderful. The sales staff (Sharon & Mike) at the Fenton store were very professional and extremely helpful. They provided options without pressure. I was overly happy with the couch shopping experience.

I was actually disappointed. We drove 45 minutes specifically to shop here after seeing and hearing about them. I wanted to avoid a chain store and shop more independently. It was not the warm welcoming atmosphere that was expected. We were looking for a hutch and living room suite. The young woman who was assisting basically tried looked through some catalogs and paid more attention to other things, including someone she knew who came into the store. Another customer clued us in to the fact we could research Amish craftsmen in Ohio and Indiana that would create custom pieces and have them shipped to us. She had done it with cabinetry and thought we might try it for the hutch.We did not pursue living room furniture here.

Lots of current choices. Supporting our local business. Great price worked out, staff are friendly and personal, they dont follow you around but are there to assist and answer questions.

Never buy from there again. Spent over $5000 in the past year. Told sorry out of warranty. No help here. Scripted response. Very disappointed. Never thought would get response like this.

Wow, worst customer service experience ever, bought an expensive Amish table from them with a super baked on finish that was not supposed to scratch and would certainly not need a glass cover This is from the sales guy before he has our money...waited 2 months for delivery. We have it a few months and now it shows some light scratches, the response from the store is to put a glass cover on it... Sure is a big difference between before they have your money and after you are stuck with their products.

We had a wonderful experience with help from Mike and Sharon. We were looking to redo our family room but were not sure when to start. They were knowledgeable and patient with us as we made our decision. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in the market for new furniture.

Bought a L shaped couch. It didnt match wouldnt take it back They sent some person to work on it to match the material pieces. Cushion went bad with in year. It took several calls to manager. It looks like an old couch with in 3 yrs. Unhappy.

We were doing some renovation work and painting in our Family Room and wanted to replace the 30 year old furniture that was in the room. I was looking for a Flexsteel sofa and chairs. After shopping around I came to Fenton Home Furnishings and met Sharon Krolik. The entire experience was delightful. Sharon was so helpful, answering a myriad of questions, always with the most pleasant and warm demeanour. My furniture has arrived and it is so beautiful. The occasional tables, TV/Entertainment Center, and desk are Amish-made and works of art in their own right. Down the road, we will be looking for Dining Room furniture and I know my first and only stop will be Fenton Home Furnishings and Sharon.

BEWARE! I started a puchase of 2 flexsteel chairs on sept 1, 2018 when i was told 6-8 weeks was the anticipated arrival time. It actually took 15 weeks to arrive. Upon delivery i discovered that the arm rest on one of the chairs was crooked. After multiple contacts with fenton they sent a repair tech to my house to assess and he agreed it was constructed improperly and even commented that a replacement, not a repair would be the correct thing to do. While doing this repair i discovered from the labels buried on the bottom of the chair that flexsteel products are made in MEXICO, despite how FHF touted them as a great American made quality company. He then had to report his findings to fenton home furnishings (FHF). Again after multiple contacts they picked it up, repaired and returned. Upon inspection it was still apparent the chair was not constructed properly and had also had further damage either from the repair or transport. When this info was reported to FHF they now will not respond to my requests for post sales support. They bent over backwards to get the sale but did not provide satisfactory post sales support and refuse to respond to requests to make this right.

Doug worked with us for a couple of hours. He was very helpful, knowledgeable but never pushy. We will most likely return for additional purchases.

Very nice location with a good selection of high quality furniture

I am only giving one start because I love the furniture I picked. Otherwise my experience with this store was horrible. I bought a couch and loveseat in February of 2017 and was told I could take delivery in 6 weeks as it was a custom order. I did not receive my furniture until the end of May. I received no calls from the store letting me know my furniture was delayed or what the delay was. I had to continue phoning the store to ask regarding updates. I went in to the store and attempted to cancel my order mid April when I still had not received my furniture and was told I could not cancel the order as it was a custom order and once the order is placed it cannot be canceled. So I called the company making the furniture and did not make any headway with them either. I finally received my furniture at the end of May and was very satisfied with the furniture. I was offered free delivery from store to home but at that point I did not want anything advertising I had bought furniture from this store so I picked the couch and loveseat up myself. When I took delivery I noted that one of the solid wood feet had a scuff and a gouge in it. I was told a replacement would be ordered right away at no charge to me and the manager “fixed” the damage with a furniture pen. I waited a couple weeks for the foot to come in and called to check on that. Was told it was on order and the manager had spoken with the owner and he wanted to give me a $65 gift card for all the trouble I went through so they were going to mail it. Needless to say I gave up calling about the foot of the couch and I never received the gift card in the mail. I live less than a mile and a half away from the store. I will never buy furniture from this company again after the horrible customer service and treatement I received. I would urge you to go somewhere else. I’ve always had great luck at Art Van.

We have been working with Sharon Krolic at the Fenton store over the past few months to select furniture for our newly renovated home which we moved into on August 30, 2016. She was most helpful and took away much of the guess work and worry we would probably have had without her assistance. While both of us have ideas of what we like, Sharons opinion helped steer us clear of making wrong choices. She is an experienced, knowledgable designer, knows product, and is easy to work with. The house is furnished beautifully and we couldnt be happier. Now we are working on a sun room which will serve as a rec room for our teen grandchildren, and I have confidence that we will be equally pleased with the finished product. Jan and John Lipscomb

Although I like the quality of the Fenton furniture I am not impressed with the quality of the sales techniques of the staff. I’ve purchased several pieces of furniture throughout the years and the sales staff continue to baffle me. At the time of the sale I feel as though I’ve been even double talked and misled. I’ve walked out after several shopping trips buying nothing because of my salesperson. It takes several trips back and a lot of frustration to finally purchase what I want. When the sale is finally done I leave feel taken advantage of with a distrust for the person I purchased from.
