Josh came out and was so helpful. He explained everything about my system in detail and fixed my issue very quickly. He was extremely professional and personable.

I couldn’t be happier with my service from Douglas Water. Jordan was extremely helpful during the consultation, giving me all of the information I needed to choose which water softener suited our needs. The installation by Bill was professional and he went above and beyond by even fixing a pipe that was the wrong size in our water line. I am grateful for the work Douglas Water has done, and really excited about our new water softener and reverse osmosis system!

We recently had a lightning strike compromise our existing softener/equipment. Jeff came out, evaluated our equipment and provided various options. Proficient, succinct evaluation and didnt try to up-sell us. He even took the time to talk to our insurance adjuster to validate the analysis. The install crew were courteous, professional and thorough. Highly recommend. Great job, Guys.

Douglas is a fantastic company. They installed an iron filter in our house as well as a pre-filter. Kyle, Jeff, and Bill are very professional and great to deal with. Excellent service, very well done installation, reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I cleaned out all of my salt tank because the bottom was packed solid with fine salt particles. They came out the same day to verify our system was running properly. Had to adjust the hardness settings. Totally pleased with their prompt professional service.

One of the owners (Jason) came out to my house in Novi to check on my water. I really was thinking that I wanted a Reverse Osmosis system for drinking but after testing our water we found that it was perfectly fine. He could have easily tried selling me something that day but took a very honest and consultative approach. It is very refreshing in this day and age to be treated with such honesty and integrity...I will be referring them to everyone I know!

We only get a few water cooler jugs, but they have them loaded up before we even pay, great service.

Great service and great products. After we purchased our home a few years ago our water softeners outlet pipes cracked (so happy we were home when it happened). So we decided to lease / rent a water softener from Douglas Water. Its been nice to have them come out and perform maintenance on it when needed. Also, I just learned last week they will deliver water softener and bring it in the house! They only charge $5 service fee, well worth it with my back problems!

I have purchased my softener salt from them for years and have not had a bad experience yet. The delivery personnel are courteous and friendly. The office personnel are knowledgeable and efficient. They sell a quality product. I have recommended them to friends and coworkers.

These folks came out to fix my water softener. They have a very reasonable trip charge - they were very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend these folks and they are now in my Rolodex... er... I guess that would be my Android now. Thanks for fixing and adjusting my softener. It works great now.

My retired father hired this place to work on plumbing in his basement while I was visiting. The employee was friendly but tipped over a tank while he was relocating the water softener. Needless to say, after he swore and completed the work, my father now has a leak from the fitting on top of the tank. When my father inquire what they would do to correct, they insist on more money and a denial of being responsible. I personally would never do business with this place, but the caveat is to always be present during their work in your home. My father works hard and had I known about this situation earlier I would have personally ensured this place was accountable for their damages made.

***AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE COVID***Douglas water came out to disconnect our water filtration system so that we could place a mat under it. After reconnecting it, they bypassed our water softener so that for last few months our water softener has not been functioning at all. We spent over 100$ for this service call and they left our system NONFUNCTIONAL - we basically paid them to turn our system off. We had to pay another service fee for another company to tell us that this occurred. Now our showers and glassware look disgusting and require cleaning and the water heater isn’t functioning correctly. The OWNER’S (Ron) resolution to fix this problem was NOTHING. GARBAGE COMPANY AND GARBAGE OWNER.

Douglas water has been my go to place for all of my water softener needs . I buy duracube salt from them and also have my softener maintained by them . My experience with this company has been Consistently good . I was very impressed When one of the owners, Ron personally came to my home and got my new softener to become as efficient as possible concerning salt usage etc . As a local Fenton resident and business owner myself, I highly recommend Douglas Water company to anyone . If you ever have a question or issue, they will go above and beyond to trouble shoot any and all technical difficulties! Great service. They installed my water softener and reverse osmosis water filtration system. They solved my water problems on a couple of occasions. Before having the system installed, they tested my well water and warned me of having a high level of arsenic.
