My dad went in to buy a lawn mower and the sales representative was super helpful in showing him the models and working with him on deals and specials to get the model he wanted in his price range. The mowers were priced similarly to those at big box stores and the service was exceptional. My dad drove the mower home (he doesnt live far) and noticed there was a clinking sound. He went back to the store and the workers were so helpful providing solutions for him. One even stopped by his house to make sure their suggestions worked for him. THANK YOU SEARS HOMETOWN!

Very disappointed with the service received at this location!! I call SEARS regarding an exchange on a Craftsman tool under warranty. I was told by SEARS that they could mail me out the replacement, or I could go to SEARS Hometown in Fenton and have it exchanged. When tried to make the exchange the OWNER said NO. I explained, that I had just spoken to SEARS customer service...He replied they dont own the store, I do and the answer is still NO . GOOD LUCK if you ever purchase anything from this location!!

I went to the fenton outlet for a new belt for my mower (which I purchased there several years ago). The salesman was very rude and looked like he had betteer things to do as I was trying to explain my problem. He then made me feel stupid when I gave him the mower model number instead of the product number. I will never purchase from there again.

I shop here often, the staff is always friendly. They offer a wide variety of products. I go particularly for their selection of craftsman products. Purchasing from the sears website for a buy online pick up in store purchase is always a quick trip. This is a locally owned business, support them!

I cant say enough GOOD things about this store!!! Sears was suppose to replace my washer after 3 weeks of getting the runaround, when I came into the store my sears voucher was 400.00 short of being able to replace my machine. The owner was not satisfied with the injustice that was trying to take place so he made a phone call on my behalf... 30 minutes later new and better machine replaced by sears!! thank-you JEFF!!! and Mark!!!

Im never able to get what I need here. There never seems to be any shoppers in this store. Its more of a rental place but it does sell some lawn and garden, car batteries, some appliances etc.

Tractor a washer dryer refrigerator that might be the place to go but anything else you might as well forget it because its a its a its a go to for nothing store I drove 34 miles round trip for nothing what I really wanted to do was get a change on some Craftsman tools but they dont even do that so its not even worth going

Brought a dishwasher there, because of covid-19 it will take me a while to get it, but it was cheaper than home depot or menards.

Needed a 10mm socket, walked into: Sears Hometown store in Fenton, and left with the socket and an awesome deal on a new refrigerator. Awesome owners, you dont feel like youre a bother to them. I love the Kenmore brand, and this independently owned store is just the BEST! Ive purchased several things here and would not waste time going anywhere else. PS: We even get drastic discounts on Whirlpool items through our company, I still wouldnt go anywhere but here for appliances. I like the hometown feel, and I like dealing in person with real live people. This store is great the only problem with buying a new fridge is: Now my old stove and dishwasher need to be upgraded too. They still work fine, but this was such a great experience and the new fridge looks so awesome, I just feel the need to upgrade them too. I wouldnt think of going anyplace else. Oh, I nearly forgot about delivery WOW - C Boyd is the best (I may need to correct his name - I think it was Chris). He is FANTASTIC! Ive never seen appliances moved so efficiently, he was in took the old fridge out, gave me time to clean underneath - YIPES! And, had the new one in, up and running in like zero time. Its his company (delivering for Sears and Ashley) and you can tell he takes pride in his work, he and his assistant were the best Ive ever seen. What a great experience all the way around. A small Sears appliance store. They also carry garden and power tools including tractors. Its pretty packed considering its small size. I only been there once to pick u up an online order in which it was the closest store carrying the item. The salesman was friendly and offered help loading the item to the car.

I cannot day enough about this store! Had an issue with a product from another store that had closed. Made about 4 calls to other stores till this Fenton store. A man named Jeff took care of me and I was beyond grateful. Thank you so much. I will send everyone I know your way.

Outstanding service from Monica on my return of my old garden tractor battery and using a Sears gift card for my new battery. It took her quite a while on the phone to find out how to use a gift card I received in 2017. Lesson learned, use gift cards as soon as you get it. We will need a new vacuum cleaner soon so we will be going back to see Monica. This store is old school on service.

Researched a vacuum that I needed Kenmore had one of the highest rated for the money. I walked in they had it on the shelf it was on sale and I was out in 10 minutes. Very easy.

Great store managed by nice, helpful people. Would love to get some new kitchen appliances someday, but the fridge, stove and dishwasher we bought there nearly 10 years ago still work just fine. Maybe someday soon we will splurge!

With Searss multiple location closure especially Troys location, we dont have so many choices to shop Craftsmans and Kenmores products at reasonable prices,I hope Sears the giant we used to know comes back out of its coma and can be up to the vicious competition with Amazon!Meanwhile I found out a location thats not so convenient for me, however is a last resort option considering the product availability and online order pick up.Jeff and his brother Tim own this branch, they are very nice and professional owners, I had a good experience shopping their place and I will come back for more, but the only downside for me is the drive.

I am a little late in posting this, but during the Christmas break we had an issue with a hot water heater we purchased through Sears. The staff and I even believe the owner of the store bent over backwards to help me and my family get a replacement as quickly as possible even though their store was not at fault for the issue we were having. I would highly recommend this store and its people as they definitely won me over. I honestly dont believe I would have received the kind of service I did had I gone to another Sears store. Just exceptional all the way around.

We purchased a humidifier that caught fire, along with our table. If we wouldnt have come home, the house would have burned down. I called the manufacture several times and they wouldnt do anything. I went to the Sears Hometown Store to see if they could do anything, and they were AWESOME! They really did care and they gave me a replacement. Thank you Sears Hometown Store, you are incredible!!

So I bought a 1/2 horse disposal had a 3 year warranty. It lasted 14 months. Took it back there didnt have one in stock. So my options was 1. Get a cheaper model in a week. 2. Get the same model in 12 days. 3. Pay an additional $125 an get a 3/4 horse today. Yea!!!! NOT 4. SO LOOKS LIKE I AM DRIVING 65 MILES TO THE NEARS STORE THAT MIGHT HAVE ONE. 5. AMAZON CAN HAVE ONE TO THE HOUSE IN TWO DAYS HUMMM.

Wonderful customer service. I purchased a chainsaw used it once then when I wanted to use it a second time the chain would not move, 2 weeks old. I took old unit into store and they did an exchange with a new chainsaw (same model). I needed to use the chainsaw that day and the staff was easy to work with and quick, no hassle. I will be purchasing more items from there from now on.

Do not buy your appliances from this place. Bought a dryer nearly a month ago and still do not have it. First one that was delivered was damaged, which happens so whatever, they said they were going to send another. My salesman, Mike, hasn’t been in with me since he told Jeff, apparently the owner, to call with a resolution. After spending over $1500 with a business, one would think that the salesperson would be in contact with status updates, but no. Just got off the phone with Jeff, who said there is nothing he can do about the dryer, but he can come pick up the washer I ALREADY PAID FOR and go to Home Depot. For anyone reading this, save yourself a month + worth of hassle and take Jeff’s advice. Go to Home Depot.

I bought one set of appliances, and was delivered a lesser model set, I was told I had to pay to pick up the old set, and pay again to have the new set delivered!!!! 3 times for shipping, I was hung up on twice on the phone while trying to sort things out, and then was told that it was my fault not the ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER who sold us the product. Terrible service, rude people working there. I will follow this up after I talk to the owner who is available Monday, he doesnt work weekends and can not be reached until then. Shop at a real sears not an outlet.

TERRIBLE customer service & warrenties on anything but handtools!! I have bought many Craftsman products in the past but mainly hand tools. I just spent $100 on a 3 ton jack and within a week the seal went, wont stay pumped up for more then a minute before leaking down. I looked it up online and found out its an extreamly common issue with these and everyone who has tried to take it back or exchange it has been basically told too bad.. not our problem....I decided to take it back into this store to exchange it since this is where I bought it from and they basically told me its not their problem. Even though its BRAND NEW since I didnt hold onto the recite I am screwed and they have no way of looking me up even though we come into here often, have a customer rewards card, and used a credit card to purchase it. Basically they dont care enough to.I WILL NOT BUY FROM SEARS AGAIN. THEY DONT STAND BEHIND ANYTHING BUT HANDTOOLS.
