Hello. This is Darren Noel. You have told me several times you were going to take care of the backflow test at my home. At this point I have given up faith in yourself and your company. Please remove me from your customer list.
Installed our irrigation improperly in 2017 when we built our home. Broke the main line with the city, was a huge mess with American Water. Found out it was connected wrong. For the size of our lot we should have two valve boxes one on each side. Furthermore very out dated parts were used. After second year could not get owner to return multiple phone calls and texts. I ended up hiring another company who has serviced us since. Have had to pay 2900 to rectify the two lines that were placed in my neighbors yard. Irrigation heads should never be on or close to your property line... this could have been completely avoided if this was installed properly. Also never filed backflow and never mentioned it needed to be done. Stay away!!!! Will cost you much more in the long run.
I like to apologize again as I did to Mr. Padgett when he was requesting service. I would like to point out that we have never done business with Mr. Padgett. We did install the sprinker system at his home in 2006 for the prior owner and serviced it up to 2017. The prior owner was more than delighted with our service. He planned ahead, signed a yearly contract each year and never had a single issue with his system except an adjustment in 2007. Mr Padgett on the other hand did not have us turn on his system, waited until Nov 5, 2018 to call for winterization then wanted service the following Saturday(the most request day of the week). We said we would try and work him in (that was our favor given the late notice and distance) but made no promise we could get to it but we did promised to get it asap after that if we did not have something open up that Saturday. He canceled the very next Monday. Since we installed the system and it has a wireless remote connection that we use to service it there was no need for him to be there as we told him. Most irrigation contractors have waiting list at that time of year but try and work in folks as they can so their systems dont freeze. The closer they are the easier it is to do that. Edwards is a great company and I am friends with the owner. They are half the distance we are from this customer. Hopefully Mr. Padgett will have his needs met.
I scheduled a winterization of my irrigation system and I asked for a quote for a retaining wall. It was scheduled for a Saturday. As Saturday approached, my wife discovered that I did not get a time, so I attempted to call on the Friday before. I could only get a recording after a couple of attempts. I tried again Saturday and same thing. So I waited at home all day and they did not show up. When I reached them finally on Tuesday, they said they would probably be able to get to me on Thursday. I asked about my Saturday they blew off and they told me that I didn’t have to be home for them to do it. I reminded them that they were to give me a quote and that I would have had to be home for that to happen. I cancelled my request and then they proceeded to tell me they were going to do me a favor and service me even though I not in their service area? 9 miles away on Oleo road? I do not like their business practice at all and I would not recommend them.
Super disappointed. I called 3 weeks ago to schedule someone to come out and move a couple of sprinklers as we are having a deck put in. I was told that someone would contact me the Tuesday before our deck is scheduled to be installed To make arrangements to come to the house. However, when no one contacted me by Wednesday I called multiple times over the next few days with no response. Their voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. I sent an email through their system and texted to the number on their voicemail. Still no response days later so I am having to scramble to find someone else to come out and help.I have used these guys for years to weatherize my irrigation system and the person I talked to initially was great... what happened???
Not sure what has happened with this company. I have a annual service agreement that was paid in advance, and also, had a separate service call in May to repair a clogged area in one of our zones. At that time, it was not an issue, as early summer/late spring, we had lots of rain, and no need to irrigate. Now, near to 45 days later, the paid for service call, (done in good faith since there was no need to irrigate), is still non functional!!! Despite numerous emails, text messages, and attempted phone calls (message area full, so you can’t leave a message), we have NOT heard back from James Satterfield. We thought he was reputable, however, the lack of any communication or results, changes that opinion. I would NOT recommend this company, based to not coming through with the contractual agreement that he has NOT met, nor appears to have any interest. This whole thing could have been negated if he would just respond!
Failed to show for scheduled service. When I called the office, no answer and voicemail box full. When I texted and received a call back, the representative told me he didn’t need my @#$&@ business and called an obscene name. Unbelievable they stay in business.
Cannot reach them by phone and mailbox is full.
