We had an issue with messages being returned, which is why theyre not 5 star. After being notified of the communication breakdown, Dennis went above and beyond to make things right. So far we are happy with our salt water system and their tech Jared was great to work with.

Worst of the worst to deal with. Cashed my check and didn’t come back until I threatened court. DO NO USE THIS COMPANY! Owner is only looking for money but doesn’t finish job.

We had 2 acres fenced in with black chain link with 6 gates. This was no easy job, 1/3 of it was in the woods. Surfside did a fantastic job and were great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Local pool store with all the help and parts you need

I put a pool in several years ago with Surfside. They were great. They service my pool and Jacuzzi. I get all my water testing done with them. No problems, great service. Very happy! Also, during this really tough time, theyre still very responsive and always trying to help the customer! Very customer focused and great to work with!

They make me feel as though I am bothering them when I call. Scheduled an opening one month before memorial day. They rescheduled for the Wednesday before the holiday. Then didnt show. I called they then told me they wouldnt be able to make it out due to lack of staff. Customer service sucks, way overpriced oh and they installed my pool 3 years ago and since then I have three divets the size of softballs under my liner. Told to wait until I need a new liner. Ive had it with them. Called today to schedule a service, they dont know what the schedule looks like. Idiots.

Surfside Pool has a few locations in New England. They sell in-ground and above ground pools as well as hot tubs and chemicals and or parts for them. I am only three stars because my experience with them was less than stellar.My sole purpose for my last visit was to get my pool water tested and maybe pick up a couple of chemicals. I was informed that a part of the test wasn’t accurate (salt content) because the machine that tested it was usually off in that area. I was pretty much told the pool was balanced but the result sheet I received stated that several levels were off and needed to be altered so I had to try and figure it out on my own. Another worker came over and asked me if I needed help when I was searching for the items listed on the result sheet but when I said yes, she was unable to help me either and did not know where the items were located. There did seem to be another clerk there that knew a lot more but she was tied up with other customers. Products are not very well organized and stock seemed low on the ones they did have. The few pool toys and gear that they did have were all way overpriced and very very old with a thick layer of dust on many of them.I have been to the Leominster location in the past and have found that it is much more organized the workers there seemed to have better training and knowledge of pool maintenance. It is also cleaner, larger, and far more items to choose from. If you already have knowledge on what you need to get and how to interpret test results without needing much assistance, than the Fitchburg location can work for you. As for me, I think I will be sticking to the Leominster location!On a sidenote, to be fair, Although the staff at the Fitchburg location couldn’t be super helpful they were very polite and were at least trying to help.

Everytime I go there to both locations Fitchburg and leominster they have nothing in-stock! Wish Namco was still around our area they always had everything.....

Surfside Fencing was willing to install gate at the best price and time frame. I was able to call or text with any concerns or questions I had and they responded within the day. I thought they were professional and courteous. I would recommend them based on our experience.

I Discovered my pool was losing water after I closed it in October- I set 3 appointments with these guys, each time they were no-shows without so much as a call, not even to reschedule. Too busy, more important clients with spas, bad weather...after plenty of opportunities in good weather. I wouldnt be too upset about any of those excuses if I was simply given the courtesy of a call without having to call them to find that out. In the end, the weeks of delays meant all the other pool shops closed before I couldnt get someone else out. My liner is shot now, and the work to replace it in the spring will go to anyone but this shop.

After a $225 charge my sisters pool is still not closed properly. They stated the pool cover did not fit the pool (the same pool cover they covered the pool with last year). After only working 45min they used rocks from the yard and placed them on the corners of the pool cover. This lasted about 1 day before the cover was draped into the pool. After speaking to the manager he said that is workers are too busy to spend excess time on one job and that it was my sisters fault for not having the proper pool cover. He tried to make a deal for next season and purchasing a different cover from them, which was ridiculous. My 102lb sister was able to fasten the cover to the pool on her own and they would not reimburse a single penny. They flushed the lines and put about $7 worth of chemicals in the pool and it was $225. Total rip off. Use someone else.

Aweful service!!!This business has the worst customer service! After three service calls they finally were able to get it right. The first guy came out and attempted to charge me $106.00 for simply backwashing my pool which was not related to anything I had called about. When I called to pay my bill (after they took that ridiculous charge off) I was told that the total cost was $317.00 for a less than two hour job (the real job). After adding up everything the numbers were not coming out right. I was finally informed that I would be charged for two men even though my job was a one man job. After asking why this was so, I was told that the job before or after me was a two man job so I would be charged the same as them. The manager was so rude to me on the phone and even informed me that he didnt care if he lost my business. Needless to say I will not be returning to surfside and would highly encourage none of you to either. They have terrible customer service and are very sketchy with their billing.

Very much agree with the previous reviews. They are dishonest, and they hide behind missed calls and misdirections between their staff. You should really avoid this company at all costs.
