Apparently no longer open. The doors are locked and a sign says that you have to call to be let in. I thought this was for capacity control due to COVID-19, but apparently its a regular feature of the business. Well, I went there on a Friday during their business hours (first time there), called to be let in and no one answered. I then called on Saturday and Monday, no answer. I understand that businesses have had to make changes because of COVID, but its not that difficult to post up to date hours on the door and maybe buy an answering machine.
If you want to talk with one of the most knowledgeable Antique Dealers on the planet, this is your place! Bob is full of incredible information about everything and anything to do with antiques. It is his love and passion. Joyce, who also works with Bob, is one of the sweetest and most helpful people you will ever meet. Whether its coins, currency, porcelain, furniture, art glass, cut glass or any antiquity/collectible you can imagine, they can help you!
This guy is a con artist. He said he was the only appraiser around for 70 miles. Not the truth. Bob, the owner, pretended he was interested in some antique furniture I called about. Then he tried talking my rings off my finger and didnt even look at the lamp. What a scam. He was only interested silver, gold, and, coins. Not antiques.
Ever seen an episode of hoarders? Thats exactly how you feel going in this store. The walkways are maybe 2 feet wide. The first impression is a locked door during business hours. They then open it and say they keep it locked at all times. My thought was oh great Im obviously not in a safe area then once let in the store you are followed very closely. Never more than 3 feet away from you, constantly asking questions and looking over your shoulder. I dont think i spent more than 3 min here. I was made to feel trapped by all the things/junk ( papers stacked 18 high EVERYWHERE), unsafe, untrusted and unwanted.
No prices on most things. They wait to see what interests you and then give you a price. Expensive compared to other antique stores Ive visited.
Bob is such a nice man. He knows his antiques. Hes very polite about giving an estimate on how much something is worth. Pays a fair price on anything he buys.
Excellent prices good service best in all of Michigan.
Prices are fair for the most part. Great selection of true antiques and vintage goods.
Great prices and wide selection of antiques. Bob, the owner, is a welcoming and convivial proprietor, and is always willing to help you find what youre looking for.
Done business with this place. Great customer service and professional staff
Great store, fantastic selection! They will treat you like family!
Robert is an expert on coins. Loved doing business with him
I parked in front of the store and went to get out of my car and the lady asked me to move. She said I couldnt park there, it was for customers only. I said I planned to go into her store but obviously she didnt want my business. She then changed her story and said I could park there. Heck No! Ill go somewhere else and all should too!
Always very nice ! Always fair with prices. Thank you for years of service.
Good store. Nice staff.
Thanks Bob for the great deals!
