Oddly they couldnt help me with LED headlamps??They were already installed I just needed help on operation. Unfortunately they wouldnt help me. Turned out to be a five minute fix. They told me my LED lights wouldnt work because my car wasnt made for them..... well as you can see thats not true.

Shaggy and the team at Vehicle Accessories in Flint MI did a great job installing a fifth wheel hitch, truck bed cover, and outlet in the bed of my new 3500 Sierra Denali. They had the 25,000 lb. Curt hitch in stock, which was surprising, given that they are sold out most everywhere currently. They got everything installed next day. They even adjusted the hitch height for me after I brought it home and found out that I requested it set too low. Very professional and knowledgeable team. Also all very positive. Would definitely recommend them for high quality work and quick turn around with great customer service.

Ordered Weather Tech vent shades for my husbands truck. Took only a couple days for them to get them, which was faster than they said. We had them install them too. So far we are pleased. 😊

I had some some headlights installed that started to drain my battery after sitting for a few days and one headlight stopped working. I went in to see if they can fix the battery drain issue. I was told it was the headlights fault and no one even came outside to pretend like they cared. I also order a lift through them to be install turns out i didnt even need on because one was already installed. Seems like it would make more sense and save their customer money for them to check out the vehicle before ordering a lift and having to pay 200 dollars to send it back out of my own pocket.

Tell me how this makes sense. We have a 2013 truck, somehow a tonneau cover for a 2014 or newer was put on. Instead of replacing it with the correct cover for the year of truck we have the owner wants to keep replacing parts. The clips keep breaking, news ones were ordered. But then the header is bad and the strap is also broken. So now we need a whole new cover. But instead of ordering the CORRECT one for the year of truck we have he orders the same wrong year cover!!! Why at this point since the whole cover has to be replaced wouldn’t he fix the original mistake and order the correct one!? The sales guys have been great and seem to be just as confused! Horrible way to conduct business.

Stopped in at 5:50pm Tuesday night, online shows 6pm close, thankfully I caught Shaggy while he was still working after hours (5:30pm real closing time) with another customer. He let myself in to show me the molded splash gaurds and which one to go with. Very helpful guys up there!

I didnt enter the store as a paying customer, but as someone who had just been in a car accident, and Vehicle Accessories was the first driveway I came to.I was quite shaken up, and so lucky to have come here first, as the manager and employees were very responsive to me, and immediately got on the phone started calling glass repair shops to find someone to fix my windshield. I have dealt with vehicle accessories many times. The guys there are great and very helpful. I wanted to share my last experience. I went in there (done my homework prior) to get pricing on a 5th wheel hitch. Not only did they have the best pricing but they also special ordered exactly what i needed and took lots of time with me. As it ended up I did not need the hitch after all but the manager was such a nice guy and understanding when I explained my new situation. Woody the manager was so helpful and even worked with me on the restocking fee that was suppose to be charged. I will continue to go here and send others I know. I had purchased a tonneau cover at the Clarkston location about 10 months ago. Recently, a couple of the clamps fell off, into the bed of the truck. I kept trying to reattach with a wrench to no avail. The Clarkston location has since closed. I called the main, Flint location and spoke with the owner, Charlie, who was very pleasant. He actually had an employee who lived in the Clarkston area and said he would send him on his way home. Within 24 hours, the employee, Dominic showed up to my office with an impact wrench to fix the clamps. He was very polite and quick. The whole repair took about 10 minutes. Highly recommend Vehicle Accessories! Thank you Charlie and Dominic! Wonderful customer service!!

Bought cover that included warranty, leaks all around bad, did not seal properly, I’ve been in multiple times, was told they were ordering a replacement and it would take a week, no updates unless I call, still waiting 9 months later. .

Bought $450 fender flares from this company missing the key part, the rubber seal. Called them up informed, not their issue, have to contact the manufacturer. Not to mention, would have saved $100 if I had bought them off Amazon. Not going back to this place EVER!!!!!!!

My experience with the Hill Rd, Flint store was interesting as I was told that my ARE truck Topper was in and ready for installation. I arrived and the manager was unaware of the appointment. The installation took 1.5 hours which I guess is normal. When finished I went to check the work and the Topper was filthy, the Topper had a scratch on the rear glass and for the most interesting part was how crooked the mounting was! I have installed these many times and never had a problem. Over spray was on the free carpet which needed to be trimmed. I asked the manager as he said it was ARES problem. I have been in retail for 35 years and know its up to the distributor to check and ok the product upon arrival. As for the young man, Gary with all the attitude, I dont ever see me returning to their store again! I have bought ARE toppers for every truck! Oh by the way, the new air gasket between the cab and Topper was sticking over the roof and I had to laugh! They were going to send me out with the wrong size! This company needs desperate help!

Had running boards installed here.. specifically requested them to be mounted to frame. They mounted them on the rockets. They were loose within 2-3 months

If I was the owner, I would have fired the sales counter guy. At there old location and now the new one I have tried to purchase a ARE cap from this guy with no luck. The first for a commerical truck. The second for a personal truck. Both times I had to go to Brighton to buy them as these guys wont call me back with quotes or even try to make a sale that is a given. Then i was interested in some accessories for my Wrangler and that was a joke as the same guy blew me off to help a lady interested in mud flaps that walked in after me?!? And to top it off everything is 4-5 weeks out, nothing stocked...

I was travelling through Michigan and my rolltop tonneau cover got stuck in the open position. I called the manufacturer and they told me the best place to go was vehicle accessories. I didnt have an appointment but the guys were great. They used some spare parts they had to get it working again. While I was waiting I found some cool stuff in the showroom to add to my truck. Had what I wanted and friendly fast service

I just wanted to share my experience so far (my K5 will be done tomorrow). Vehicle Accessories is a BDS Suspension dealer and so the company sent my 6 kit to Vehicle Accessories. Planned on doing the kit myself but had some issues with wrong springs sent. BDS fixed the issue. Instead of being stuck in the same position I called Dennis at the store and he gave me a fair price (a couple hundred more than quoted from others). I like Dennis and the tech working on my K5 seems very focused on doing the job right. How do u argue with that? So far so good. I recommend Vehicle Accessories, they do have a lot of stuff for your Offroad toy or daily driver
