I find myself here at lease once a week, they have the best retro selection of video games Ive seen. They also carry a fantastic, ever changing selection of figurines, and plushies. Friendly staff every time that always knows their stuff! They even carry replacement cables/controllers from just about every system sold in the US! Found an old genesis 16 bit in a box with no peripherals? No problem they have every thing you need to fire it up and probably have the game you liked back when you last had it out! I recommend this place to everyone I know that is into games!

Many enjoy the very strong and flashy environment of stores like Gamestop or Best Buy, but this location and store holds something valuable like no other. The employees are personable, you don’t feel like you’re talking to someone that’s trying to get you to buy stuff, and the amount of options and cool stuff in there is amazing. Me personally, I’m a careful and picky person, so a constantly changing, wide selection of anything from video games to figurines to plushies is perfect. I’m a long-time avid video games and entertainment enthusiast and I give this my stamp of approval. If you haven’t checked this place out, please do. You’ll be happily surprised and shocked that you haven’t visited Nostalgic Video Games sooner.

Pretty surprised in this place. Great selection. Unfortunately I was followed around and felt like I was be followed like they suspected I was a criminal. This backfired on them because instead of spending the hundreds of dollars I would have spent, I spent $13 and probably will rarely be back. They have some decent prices here. Retro items are fairly priced, but new items like retro and hyperkin items are overpriced.

From the outside this place doesnt look like much, mainly because of the tiny doorway its tucked in within the little strip mall. But the place is big and they have a lot of stuff, the staff was great, and the the prices were competitive. Its a place we probably wont get to visit often since its several hours away from us, but well certainly go back when were in the area again. Its also the only place Ive been to that actually sold game manuals. I wish wed had more time to look through things, but well visit again.

Great place. Got my PSP 3000 here for about $80. Staff is nice as well. They also have things besides games and consoles, like posters, figures, pillows, stuffed animals, and keychains. Also a great place to trade in games you dont want anymore. They have a wide variety of games from multiple different platforms. 10/10 Would recommend to any video game fan

This place has a lot of great video stuff. I mean A LOT. From todays latest crave to yesterdays retro gaming console. They even take trade-ins and will pay cash or in store credit for your things, however the price they offered was not what I was wanting so I didnt accept it.

Behind this hallway of the corner of the shopping center is a store of a wide variety of retro games, modern games, gaming systems, and accessories (and yes, even the more obscure ones). As shoppers enter the store, they can see huge shelves that contain a lot of games, each of them categorized by what system/platform the games run on. Not only that, there are several smaller shelves in the middle of store holding systems from earlier generations, HD clone consoles, accessories, plushies, and much more. Most importantly, this store is run by employees who what I would call them people of culture, as they are committed and dedicated to knowing the history, function, and quality of certain products. Plus, theyre pretty chill and are fun to talk when it comes to discussing about particular stuff inside the shop that caught my interest. Overall, if I ever come back to Florence, Kentucky, this is one of the places I want to check out again.

Love this place. Feels like one of those old stores from when you were a kid. Prices are pretty much what youll find on ebay, but its nice to support a local business.

Great selection of older games and accessories. The thing I come here for more than anything though is the sleeves they sell to protect photos, comics, things like that. Nobody else carries them and you have to buy like 50 ordering online anywhere.

Love this place. Took some old games and systems and got a great trade in price. They replaced the battery and cleaned my Zelda NES game for cheap. The games, toys and collectibles are awesome. Stores like this just dont exist anymore.

My one and only gripe with this store is Mario and actual staples for consoles are not always available due to popularity other than that amazing

I bought a used PS4 the other day and the fan system started going out. I brought it back though and since they didnt have a replacement and fixing it would cost more than it was worth they gave me every cent back that I spent. While Im sad I dont have a PS4 again I have to say that was awesome. I definitely read my receipt and didnt expect them to do that for me. It was pretty awesome.Also, that store just has awesome stuff in it. Im a huge star wars geek so I nerded out hard with my girlfriend there two days in a row.Issues like that happen with used systems so I wasnt too upset. Ill still definitely go back. No doubt.

Fantastic customer service, I live almost an hour away and am more than willing to make the trip. Excellent selection for almost every system (nobody has Dreamcast games available for some reason). Knowledge staff that definitely go the extra mile.

Ive been visiting this store since it opened, and watched it grow from a modest shop in the corner to a truly impressive store of games, merch, and ephemera. There are large cases of mostly classic, some modern games, but the real prize is the odds and ends - CDs of video game music, posters and advertising stands from old games, strategy guides and pins and the rotation of plushies that seems to increase every time I visit.The 6th generation games are a bit lacking now. PS2 and GCN, most of the interesting games have been bought and not replaced, and this was the trend I saw push Game Castle out of business a few years ago. Id love if they could restore that stock, but its worth saying that this problem is probably not Nostalgics fault, just a difficulty that comes with the business - used games are hard to find in good condition, and they fly off the shelves when they do have them.Do visit this store if youre interested, itll be worth a browse and youre certain to find something worthy of your attention.

My go to retro gaming store, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The selection is amazing Ive been to many retro gaming stores in this area and across the country as I travel as part of my job. Theres not a place around the Nky/Cincinnati area with better selection. The prices can be high sometimes but you can talk with them occasionally about a item you feel should be lower. Overall though the prices are very market fair. They even have a great customer loyalty program that lets your earn discounts! Highly recommend if you collect retro toys/videogames!

My son purchased a DS in the box and noticed when he got to the car that it was damaged. He went back inside to return it. They would not return his money. I even called them when he arrived home. We are now disputing the charge on our card. The one they sold him in the box has a different serial number than the box too. That is fraudulent. What a scam. Beware and don’t let your kids shop here.

Good vintage game store. If your looking for a old game you use to play as a kid this is the store to be at. Staff was friendly and love the selection. You can find anything there from a old game system to new and hard to find games to rare games. Glad this place is here and love stopping in and looking at everything and not being annoyed by people asking if you need help with something every ten minutes. Great vintage video game store with a large selection of games, some rare games and pretty fair pricing on most of their selection. Stopped by here while in town for a business trip. Forget about other video game stores for older games. I was looking for PS2 games and their selection is unbeatable. They have even more selections for the newer consoles. Biggest selection I know of in the area! Plus the staff is super helpful.

Sad because I really like this place to start off with. And they do have a few good employees . The selections are OK for the most part. Theres a couple issues that I have it seems like some stuff is on the top tier pricing. One time I went in to return a game that I bought just because I didnt realize I are ready by the copy from them a couple weeks before. I went in to return the game and they told me if theres nothing wrong with it I cannot return the game all sales are final. And I was in there just the day before. So I vowed never to buy a game from them again. In the world of collecting games like that sometimes you get an extra one. Even ever game was only 6 bucks that makes me feel like I cannot trust them for big purchase. Plus any game or system you buy only has 14 days return. But if you go to arcade legacy they have one month return. And if you accidentally get a game you dont want you can easily return it. I cant go back to this just because of the factor of they dont seem to appreciate their customers and the type of customers we are

Your first time here you may be wondering how to get in, cause the plaza is setup a little weird. But trust me finding the door to the castle is worth it! I love this place, Ive bought a ps2 slim here for what i feel was a very reasonable price amd had zero issues with it. I have also purchased numerous retro games for various consoles and they have worked flawlessly.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and even if they may not know, they are not afraid to try and find out. Great customer service goes a long way, as a 90s kid gamer i couldnt ask for a better store. Id definitely recommend to anyone. I would be even happier if you guys could get a copy of Blue Dragon for 360. 8)

The staff are always kind and courteous. Very knowledgeable on old collectables and classic video games. You can find things from the NES to an Xbox one S, from old movies, to rare starwars collectables from 1977. 10/10
