Been going here for over 20 years. Always a great experience and always felt welcomed. CBW is hands down the best store for your comic and game needs. Their d and d unpainted mini selection is hands down the best selection Ive seen. They have warhammer, paint, painted minis, comics, games, mtg and so much more. I highly recommend stopping by and seeing mark and the family. Great people great place, will always be my home away from home.

Very cool place with lots of comics. I feel like it can be a bit more lively but hey covid, right? Employees seemed nice. Can use a cleaning. Could spend hours easily looking through comics but gets boring fast.

Very large selections of any and all comic books. Knowledge ppl, friendly employees. A very clean and safe place. Prices are good to high depending on what youre looking for. They also have age appropriate comic books for those just starting out in this genre.

Staff goes out of their way to help, if you cant find it in the store theyll do their best to order it for you. Great atmosphere for Commander on Friday nights and drafts on Saturday for Magic the Gathering.

These guys have a ton of stuff! Lots of comics and a massive amount of RPG game stuff thats pretty hard to find other places.Every time Ive been, theyve been friendly and welcoming, happy to answer questions, etc. Worth a swing by despite their weird hours.

This place is just a really good comic shop. All the employees are friendly, know what theyre talking about, and are happy to help with anything you might need. They have Friday night commander Magic and Saturday afternoon Magic drafts, and both have good turnouts, with friendly (but competitive!) players. Its a nice place and if you need to find almost anything you would want at a comic book store, this is the place!

I have been going to this comic book store since I was little and collecting Pokemon cards while learning what manga was. The staff has always been kind and helpful and the selection has always been good. If they dont have something they are happy to order it for you. We got to know the owners fairly well and we will gladly go out of our way to support them when we can (Buying from here verses on Amazon, for example).

Mark is excellent at giving recommendations for new series to pick up.

Ive been coming here for years. Pre-COVID, it was always from to come to events here for Magic: the Gathering. Really great staff, fair pricing on the products. I recommend this place, and really look forward to in-store events in the future.

Been going here since I was a kid (20+ years). Still competitive pricing, and the people who work here are knowledgeable in almost every aspect of gaming and comics. Maybe Im a bit biased but I still shop here all these years later so thats saying something. And if youre looking for something specific, Id say this is the place to go.

Love this shop! Drove down from Indianapolis to check it out a few months ago and returned because of the silver and bronze age back issues.Fantastic selection of comics! Varies prices based on condition. Hard to find 70s comics in decent condition. Love the set up... Higher priced books have a photo copy and price on s slab.. So you dont have to ask about whats behind the counter? Like most stores.Owner/manager will pull out there bok for you to look at before you buy.Definitely coming back! Plus I got my punch card to redeem! 👍🏻

Love the vibe at this place and mark has always taken care of me, support your local game shops, they have to charge a bit more to make it...Seems things changed at this store, I am no longer treated as a long time customer and the tcg proces are outragious.....

This place has been in business for decades, I bought a lot of comics there in the 80s and 90s.

A very large inventory of Comics and collectables . if you cant find something the staff is more than willing to assist you. if its something they dont have, they will order it for you if its available. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I love comic book world! The employees are really nice! They are a bit pricey. Ill be honest, I get most of my comics off of Amazon but I love going to comic book world because the atmosphere is awesome, the employees are helpful, and they have a wide selection of stuff.

Great to see a comic book store still out there. My granddaughter goes there for events they have for children, which is a great option other than her video games. Recommend for parents to get the kids, and them, out of the house.

Very helpful staff. Im fairly new to collecting comic books and they were patient with questions that were probably dumb of me to ask. They looked thoroughly for the items I requested and were very knowledgeable. Also, they have a huge collection of any type of comic series you would want! They had the largest collection of Venom comics that Ive seen at any of the stores Ive been to in the Cincy area. I will definitely be going back to find those issues I have yet to find.

This shop is every comic book, board game, card game, and miniatures dream place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, plenty selection. More than just comics, for sure!! They even have Pokemon toy character vending machines. Kid friendly. We visit often for anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. Free parking. Pokemon Go is encouraged 😊(just park in the back!)

Good selection of not only comic books but also pen and paper manuals, board games, figurines, and TCG supplies. The staff seemed rather bored however, so if you like to be greeted and have a conversation at your local game/comic shop, this may not be the place for you. However, if you like to browse quietly without interruption, you wont find a more peaceful store to do so in.

This is an institution which remains relevant enough to have generational influence.

Beautiful, large, well lit facility. Very organized and clean. Lots of cool RPG gaming stuff although I couldnt find much Palladium/Rifts stuff, there was all kinds of fun looking Warhammer stuff. Friendly guy at the check out counter. Nice selection of back issues. Some of the back issues seems a bit high priced but the condition was excellent and nothing was crazy out of bounds. Did find a couple nice deals though. Tons of boxes stuffed under the tables and all of them available for purchase. Dont think I saw any boxes that were not for sale... I have had an issue at another store who had a bunch of unmarked boxes not available for purchase so Ive been keeping my eye out for that since then. Its nice when things are clearly labeled with prices and labels and stickers ect. Thanks for having a nice shop!

Great shop. They stock a lot of obscure comics you cant find at other shops. Their back stock and zero day alternate cover selection is the best in the area.

Straight up giant looking moms basement as a store. Went in for heroclix and found a small selection in the front. Had some MTG singles under the counter and an assortment of RPG things and a lot of comic books. If I am ever up that way again would be a definite stop by for sure.

This place is my favorite to go to for all things nerdy. The staff is very kind and helpful. As a female, being in a place like this can make me feel unwelcome, but the staff is so kind that I love coming here!

My husband and father-in-law love this store. Their tournaments provide a real sense of community to all of their customers.

Used to go here for magic the gathering weekly tournaments and your supposed to receive additional items for signing up. Out of all the times I went I only received the promotional items one time only to find out Mark (the man who works there and also runs the tournament) was keeping all the promo stuff for their fan boys. Mind you this happened multiple times and even reported to blizzard about this. Even that aside, the fan boys they cater to will make you feel dumb and unwanted as well as allowing them to rage at games being held there when their is supposed to be a warning and then a disqualification. Would not advice anyone at all, whether beginners or experts to go to this place.

One of the best comic book stores in the Cincinnati area. Ive been a customer since 2002 and have never had a bad experience. They are well organized, knowledgable, and very friendly. Their selection of silver and bronze age comics are incredible and below overstreet prices. They can get very busy at times, especially on gaming days, which make it a little difficult to browse the comics but otherwise the best place to buy your comics.

My favorite comic book store in the Cincinnati area!Store is clean, organized, spacious, well stocked with new tiles, huge selection of back issues and has a good staff.They also have an awesome selection of key issues comic issues: golden age, silver age and bronze age. Word of advice concerning these--KNOW your comics, have a keen eye for grading and make sure to have a good resource on your mobile device for checking values against their prices!!!While they do have a nice selection of these older and key issues, their prices are too high. I understand a brick and mortar shop needing to pay rent, but not at the expense of our treasure finds.Just know how to grade comics and have your resource available when drooling over their good stuff.

I first went to Comic Book World in 1991. One of the best comic shops in the country. I can always find what Im looking for there. Prices are fair and have good $1 bins. I wish I still lived in the area, cause I would still be going there.

Staff was very helpful and will hold items requested so you dont have to worry missing an issue.
