I went to home depot, to pick up my mothers online order. It was ready, like it shouldve been. A nice, but lazy, young man brought it out. He barely lifted a finger to help load the order. After loading it, I noticed that two pieces of the order werent correct. So I asked him about them and he said to go to the service desk to have it changed. I went to the service desk and finally found out that they didnt have the whole order, that it was two pieces short. Why would a company say the order was complete and ready for pick up if the order was two pieces short. #notacceptable

This is a bring in your own cart in if you need one support model, and be sure you factor in an extra hour waiting for the single lane open. Even after calling service desk, no help was given. Plenty of orange people standing around. Sad, seems like kids run this place. Save your time and go to Lowes or menards or your local lumber yard.

I had patio doors installed bought at Home Depot in April finally in July. The door handle was defective & I had to contact Andersen to get a new one & install myself. The trim outside the door has deep gashes in it & I cant seem to get anyone to make it right. This is very frustrating since I have been a loyal customer.

All the associates were very helpful. Managers even jumped in to help! Awesome.

I was looking for a special item for husband Fathers day present. I was approached by one of the sales person and asked if I needed assistance, because I guess I looked lost. The gentleman began assisting me to make sure I had the right item, he took me to show me a better deal and got everything I needed. My husband was so Happy. Thank You So Much.

I had a terrible experience trying to order a storm door from Lowes. After much time and aggravation, I decided to take my business to Home Depot. What a pleasant experience. I talked to a knowledgeable sales associate on the phone. She had my door (which was in stock) at the customer service desk waiting for me. A couple of young gentlemen loaded it in my car and home I went. I think I found my new home improvement store.

Everyone very nice. Almost out of Halloween stuff. Unless they get another shipment.

This home Depot is way better then Lowes in my opinion. Nice clean, employees everywhere eager to help. Everything is in stock and easy to get to. Great for all of the home improvement needs.

Yesterday I tried to buy a washer and dryer set. Guy told me delivery wasnt available to my zip code so I asked to do in store pick up. He said I cant do that either. Told me I needed to go to a home depot closer to my house. This is the closest store to my house and I told him that. So then he just straight up told me I cant buy a washer and dryer from you guys. So weird. I didnt even get a chance to pick out a washer and dryer before this guy tells me I just cant buy one at all. Apparently yall just dont want my money.

Good store. Hopefully we get back to normal someday so what I need is readily available.

Im a huge Halloween enthusiast. They had a 12ft skeleton in stock online. When I called the young man said they didnt. I accepted his answer and hung up. 15mins later the gentleman called me back said he made a mistake. Needless to say I drive there to pick him up right away. Staff were quick to get it down and ready for check out quickly.

This Home Depot is great.Im there at least once a week! Always get great help, never have any issues. Always have what I need when I go.They didnt have a huge garden flowers and plant choices, this year.. but I still managed to find some of things I needed.

Finally, I asked someone in building materials. He offered no help whatsoever. Didnt even offer to call for help. From now on, Im a devotee to Menards

Hard to find the electric fences. Youd think theyd be with fencing, not light bulbs. Checkouts looked bare. Employees were helpful though.

We just moved here from another state to a condo in Erlanger. We needed quite a few things and were very fortunate to have asked Alba for help. Ive been to many Home Depots over the years but have never had any associate help me like she did. She spent an hour with me as we walked throughout the store finding everything we needed. Very impressive. Great employee!

(long story[salesmen thought, we believe couldnt afford]) Go figure that the big box chain Home Depot saleswoman assisted us with an Andersen sliding patio door.Andersen store front kept wanting to send out a window sales representative; (again long story).I would never have believed that top of line windows/ door distribution diy @ the big box chain supply houses.TY @homedepot for making the selection and purchasing process easy.

I always go to home depot, but I know wgat Im looking for 99% of the time . If you dont know, good luck because most of the workers have no clue what they are doing . Should have NEVER gotten rid of vocational schools . We need people in the trades, and in stores like this to actually help people .

Big box store great for finding almost anything one would need to build anything.

Tried to buy a refrigerator here yesterday. Did some comparison shopping opening doors and looking at specs. Despite being there for nearly 30 minutes, the person standing at the register 3 feet away from us never acknowledged our existence. Another couple asked them for help and got blown off. We finished our hands on research and left and spent a good amount of money somewhere else. I frequent this store quite a bit and I have to say this is by far the worst experience I have had.

Over the years we have had windows installed carpet put down. We have purchased everything we needed to rehab a house before it was sold.. They carry everything you need. Customer service is always great.

This is a great store, I shop there all the time. But they start one hour before closing making announcements that the store is going to be closing in one hour and its time to make your final selections and get to the checkout counter. Dont know what thats about.

Worst delivery/ installation service EVER am extremely unhappy about my experience with your companies deliver services. First, my husband and I purchased a SAMSUNG washer and dryer set on 7/10/21. When my husband purchased the dryer we paid extra for a kit and installation for a gas dryer. We were told someone would come install said dryer that Thursday which was 7/15/21. The two young men got here and dropped off said dryer but said that he would not be able to install the gas line as we needed a longer pipe that he did not have. He said he would get a full refund on said installation. My husband went out and purchased an extention for the gas line AND more duct and contacted home depot who said they would have someone out today ( 7/22/21). The guy was here for less than 30 minutes and said he could not install because hes not a licensed plummer and that someone else would have to be schedule to come out. If youre keeping track this is now the SECOND delivery driver/installer who was not prepared for the job at hand. This is now the third week I have a washer and dryer I cannot use. This is now the second time someone has been paid to do a job that was not done.I contacted Home depot customer service and spoke with Thorton, who I have to start off my saying was pretty great considering the foul mood I was in. He told that the reason the guy who came today could not install is because hes not a licensed plummer, which said installer told us as much when he was here, and that someone would be the next day to install. I have asked repeatedly why someone would be sent to install an appliance that is not licensed to do so. I was very upset to say the least and asked for the name of the initial deliver driver/ installer and was told by Thorton he “ did not have that information”. He contacted the delivery company FSA DELIVERY SERVICE, who echoed that someone who ws licensed would be out the next day. I asked for the phone number for the delivery co to file a complaint and was told I was not allowd to have that number.So, to sum it up, Your company employs delivery driver whos double as installers, who don’t know how to install the equipment. There is no record of the name of this individual so god forbid something happen while he/she is here. And the company who sends these nameless strangers to our home, is not allowed to be contacted by customers. Are you seeing the issues here??? So, we paid for an installation that, three later, has still not taken place and Home Depot has very laid back measures when it comes to protecting the safety of their customers.I am requesting a full refund of my installation and delivery fee. The service was AWFUL.DO BETTER.

Spring time! Will someone please let Home depot know what season it is. Went to there nursery and hardly anything. This place is still set up for winter and its March. So I went to Lowes who was completely set up for spring and got everything I needed. Poor showing Home depot, get your act together.

Basing this review on two visits in the same week. There were no shopping carts available on either visit. They didnt have some items we needed, one of which we called about before we came and an employee said they did have. Some of the items they did have were very hard to find. We had to do our own checkout while three employees were standing and chatting.

Used to be employed by this company. No one working here asks if you need assistance. Had to ask twice to get someone to cut a key for us. Appliance associate didnt know what company does their deliveries.

Home Depot is one stop shopping for for anybody that is planning Do It Yourself work. They have just about anything that you need whether you are planning that complete basement makeover or taking on your kitchen or bathroom. Their staff are more than accommodating and have a wealth of knowledge as you take on whatever task that may await you. Now would be a good time to get busy! As Always, Enjoy!

Special order 1 small bathroom window, I stopped to pick--up today . Took them 50 minutes to get it from the back. Almost an hour of wait time comon now ... i know you have kids working there but people have better things to do on their off days to wait at the home depot . Customer service Zero !

We always hate out trips here. Hard to locate items even with the app, employees no longer have any experience, constant out of stock-even before COVID. Started going to Lowes instead.

I honestly prefer the smaller, family run stores, but its inevitable that these businesses are necessary. So, if I have to pick one, it would be Home Depot.

Ordered a clothes dryer. Sales associate extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The delivery was pathetic. They were right on time but one person attempted to get the old dryer out by forcing it over the door threshold. After three tries he realized that he had to go outside and lift it over the threshold. Then he plugged the new dryer in and sparks flew out of the wall outlet ruining the dryer electric wire and plug. Of course he never considered turning off the circuit breaker before plugging it in. He then turned off the circuit and he did install a new cord and plug. Hopefully the dryer and or wall outlet were not damaged. Then I received an alarming call from my sister from her nursing home and was on the phone when he was finishing the job. I watched him come to my wife and asked her to sign papers with his mask off. If either of us get Covid my family will be taking action against Home Depot because neither of us will survive due to age and health issues. We have been extremely cautious since March in order to protect ourselves and then this occurs. The gentleman was extremely polite and nice but I was not happy with all that I saw.

They promised delivery of a thousand dollar truck bed cover by May 13. I planned a vacation requiring the bed cover. I called 3 times and texted customer support. Everyone told me something different. Reached out to the manufacturer and they said it would ship the 28th. Got an email today that it would ship the 4th. I either have to run around the tristate to find another bed cover or forego half of my vacation. HD lied about the advertised delivery date and telling me via text that it would be here before June 1st. They delayed contact with the manufacturer. The manufacturer, Extang, was terrible with communication. One email said it would be here the 28th and the most recent one said the 4th. Horrible customer service all around and no accountability. They dont care I lost a couple grand.

Changing my review loyal customer for years ! Several decades even like 30 years plus my dad and Ive been shopping at home Depot ever since they came to the area but their price gouging on their lumber has run me away !

Went to look for ceiling fan. Worker named Frank listened to what we needed, could not find it in stock. He went to computer, found exactly what we wanted and put in the order for it. It was delivered the next morning. Great job.

While I like the garden center, I cannot recommend HD for their large appliance warranty service. Asurion has to be the worst company to deal with when there is an issue.

Did curbside pickup with an item supposed to be assembled Got it home and it was missing a part, so had to return. Customer service was quick to remedy, but it was a hassle I didnt need if others had done their job a bit more carefully

Alex Collins has to be the most educated and customer oriented person I have ever met. You can tell he cares and gives a 100%. I would recommend asking his opinion when it comes to what type of paint you need and what works best for your project. He really knows what he’s talking about.

So easy to move around in the store. We went to buy paint and it was easy to figure out what we wanted and they said the wait would be 20 minutes and it ended up being more like 10. We did self checkout and had an issue and the employee was quick to assist us. She was helpful and friendly. It was fairly busy but the store never felt overly crowded. Prices were reasonable.

Home Depot is great, good products good prices and adequate product availability. Employees are the problem Ive always had with this store. Typically they duck and cover when they sense a customer needs help but today I was being overtly ignored as I struggled to pull 16 lumber off a middle shelf and the kids were just wandering around. Two walked right past me. Should I have asked for help? Perhaps. Should an employee who observes a customer obviously in need of help offer some? Absolutely.

It is a big box store in all its glory, but this one is always dirty. The aisles are always filled with stock. The floor is in constant need of sweeping. The lighting is out in a few aisle and it is too dark to see product.
