I had Brian Lightner remodel a house I purchased in 2012. There are a long list of problems with his work. One being having the insulation company threaten to put a lien on my home because he didnt pay him. I had already paid Brian for the insulation. He put in a new heating system, really large, on gravel. It began sinking so had to pay to have it moved to put a pad under it. I have been having nothing but problems with the heating system. Today I found out it is too big of a unit for the duct work that he also installed. I repeatedly ask for paperwork on my unit and he would not give it to me. Because the unit was never registered, no warranty. The wiring was done wrong. He put a 40 amp wire on a 60 amp breaker, which is a fire hazard. Well due to his incompetence, I have to pay for a new unit, this one is only 6 years old. I also have to have a new wire ran to the breaker. IIwould give Zero stars if I could. Do not hire him!

I have attempted to get a refund from Brian Lightner of Cody Development, LLC for months. I signed a contract for a driveway apron to be poured on October 2, 2016. Brian was supposed to provide the service at the beginning of November. He had many reasons for delays. On January 19, 2017 I requested a refund. He told me he was planning on doing the apron the following week. Weather and other things delayed it. I requested a refund again on February 7, 2017. March 8, 2017 I was promised my refund and an explanation. Finally on April 18, 2017 I got a check from Brian. On April 25, 2017 the check was returned NSF. Again an explanation as to which it was returned. Somebody bounced a check to him and then he bounced checks. Today is June 2, 2017. Ive been messaging and texting and emailing Brian. Ive heard nothing. This is the most unprofessional treatment of a customer and so extremely frustrating. Now I have to take him to court for an NSF check in the amount of $1,575.
