We had an issue with one of our Walker mowers and we put in in the shop 3 different times and they kept throwing parts at it and never fixed it. We were out $1000 and still had the same issue. They kept saying they were “doing what the manufacturer recommended” but it obviously did not help.

Terrible service.

I am a local landscape contractor. Nelson has been the only local source for the equipment we use, and we bought two machines from them.. We have had several warranty issues come up, and on a few occasions I have had to fight Nelson over shop fees on the warranty work. Now as I write this, yet again we had a warranty problem and the shop worked on the machine. The shop left some bolts out during the repair which has since caused further damage to the machine. We took the machine back and showed them what had been left off and were told well maybe we will do better next time. So after trying to fix the problem ourself, without success, we took it back again, and Nelson is telling me they will be charging a shop fee to fix what they basically broke. I have had this same exact problem with them time and time again... and for this reason... I will no longer do business with E A Nelson. Crooks in my book..
