Just to let yall know, they close at ten. Their hours are 9 am to 10 pm. The store is not open 24/7 and its illegal in the state of Alabama to sell liquor past 2 am.

Convenient and fair prices

I specifically shopped at Kendrick Spirits bc I believe I met the owner the 1st time shopping there & I asked about a military discount. That started a long conversation between the two of us about how veterans are not appreciated for their sacrifices. He clearly stated he believed in them & I was given a 10% military discount. Greatly appreciated it but it was our conversation & the discount that kept me coming back instead of going elsewhere. My husband whom is also a disabled vet as well as I am, went last week & was denied the discount & stated the guy was rather rude. So I just went. Guy 8n his 49s, claims hes been there 15 yrs. I showed him my military Id & no discount. I asked him why no discount & he stated that they have never given a military discount bc they have to pay the city of florence & the state a % of each purchase & then he said he might, if I was buying something other than liquor.?!?!?Now lemme get this right. Its a liquor store & he would gimme a military discount for something other than liquor though he already stated they never have given discounts?!?!Well the original man I met was the owner in 2016 & appreciated my service as I am 100% disabled & literally 100% titanium reconstructed.I now know I will NEVER shop there again & I urge ALL VETERANS & THEIR FAMILIES to shop elsewhere since, we are Not appreciated.Sincerely,Tara Plank3rd INF DIV, 2nd Region CID
