LOVE the selection this store has! I consistently find clothing and shoes for my son, and have since he was an infant (now 5). Customer service when trying to sell is a little rough, but I will continue to shop here for the great deals and the selection.

Good selection of boys and girls clothes of all ages. Reasonable prices. I have bought and sold clothes here. One thing is certain. Young and immature staff are not friendly and seem to look down on the customers. Ive experienced and witnessed it. Customer service definitely needs improvement, but I will continue to shop here. If you can ignore the young girls who work behind the counter its worth while.

Easy way to sell some clothes that your kid(s) have outgrown, but they dont buy everything and they dont give you much money for the items... its understandable though because they have to pay employees, bills, and still need to make a profit.

The owners should be ashamed that they are not teaching their young staff customer service skills that will set them up with future careers! Staff is so rude. New covid rules are not told over the phone, listed on website, or posted besides a pamphlet in store. I drove an hour to have the worst customer service experience. I brought so many items and was told I was basically a inconvenience to them. Now reading reviews, I understand why they didn’t want to take my stuff, I came in right before 5 which apparently is the time they cut off. The owners really need to work with management and staff. I will not buy from any of their franchise stores until the owners take serious steps to improve their staffs customer service. I encourage anyone reading this review to do the same.

I love this place and come here all the time. But this one lady with (pixie cut short brown hair) behind the counter when I brought clothes in gave me the meanest and most attitude tone when I forgot to bring my clothes in a basket (when I never had to before) and I didn’t like the disrespect. Never had to deal with that kind of tone from this place.

Really big, and organized once upon a child. Staff is very friendly. The checkout could be more organized but overall a great store. You can find any baby/kid related item here for cheap and gently used!

I took 3 bins of perfectly good in style clothing and they told me they could take 7 items for 18$ .... no. Sorry... and don’t tell me they have enough of them. It’s BS ..... this place will never get my business ever again and I will tell everyone to not step foot in there. Just a rip off

Do NOT use them. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences here and everyone is so rude. I called right before I left my house and they told me they stop buying at 5pm, no mention of anything else. I show up at 4:57 and they said they shut down their computers 15 mins early every day! After I drove so far to get there and hauled my baby all the way there. No apology, nothing. Bunch of teenagers with no customer service skills at all. Just rude all around while they all sit there on their phones. Definitely not the first time I’ve encountered rude people there. Not to mention they hardly give you anything for your items. I will be calling back to report to their manager and see if it is protocol to close the computers 15 minutes before are supposed to stop purchasing.

This location has been slowly going downhill but it has gotten to the point where it needs a major cleanup.* Has more of an odor than last year* Lights are very dim* Painted beam supports are extremely dirty from people touching them* Often toys are all over the floor* Clothes are now packed in so much you cant sort through them

Daniels customer service is excellent! He really made my shopping fun and enjoyable. Austin as well was a great help. Definitely coming back. This is the most organized location of once upon a time Iv been to. LOVE IT HERE !!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. The entire staff was rude. I kept getting nasty dirty looks the entire time. And when they talk bad about paying customers, they should probably either wait until I’m out of the store or being more quiet. I drove an hour from home just to go to this specific location. I will never do that again. It’s such a shame because they have very nice items. Go to any other store besides this one

The people here are really nice and polite, try their best to help people the best they can, I’ve seen Austin help people out of the store with an umbrella to their cars when there was a storm, people try to work things out to a more reasonable price when possible, make sure everyone is helped when asked, smile lots and many other people do amazing things to help out really put all their effort in their work and try to make everyone’s experience positive. Dedicated to their work and trying to be considerate of customers and help the best they can and even go above and beyond. Most all of them are great people and really just try to help out the best and most they can. I would suggest this place to anyone, great deals, clothing selection, and workers!

It’s a big place with a lot of selection but it’s DARK and hard to see things if you aren’t on an aisle directly beneath a light. And be careful when you’re picking up items- this store doesn’t seem to review clothing as closely as others do, lots of holes and stains I saw as I was sifting through. The employees were nice enough but looked overworked, it must be a tough job. The girl who checked me out was very helpful and gentle with my selections. I’ll be sticking with the smaller shop closer to home, from now on.

I think this is by far the worse Once Upon a Child that I have ever been in. No one in this location was friendly at all, no one spoke when I entered, no one smiled and everyone there looked as if they really didn’t want to be there. I’ll never go back into this location ever. No friendly faces and It’s such a tragedy because this is a nice and clean location with good selections.

I love this place! I found so many things for my son from bouncers, swings, mattress, to high chair. I’ve saved a ton of many and even earned a couple of bucks by selling his stuff to the store. The best time to buy clothes are during the off seasons. They have awesome clearance sales. Sign up for rewards and get access to sales during private times.

I love this store! Ive always been able to find great items at reasonable prices. Most times I shop here I find some really great clothing with tags still on them. The staff has been very helpful as well. Sometimes they seem a little preoccupied but that is understandable with all the work they do!

This place is a total rip off!!!! No matter which one you go to they rip you off! I was better off donating to the goodwill! They brought 8 items out my bag and only gave me $14 I still had a bag full of nice clothes in a bag that they probably didn’t even take the time to look at! They need to shut them because its ridiculous how much they rip you off then sell the items for more in the store! So they can pay their employees! NEVER AGAIN BEWARE!!! SALE YOUR ITEMS ON EBAY OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT GET MORE FOR YOUR ITEMS!

Went in there yesterday.We have not been there in a while cause we live in N. Dallas and cause of our bad experience from the staff last time. The Sales Associate, Abby was very welcoming, helpful and kind. She made our shopping experience a good and positive one.Thanks to her, we will return.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I took some baby clothes to sell for a friend. Not even 3 minutes later i get the message that pick up is ready. Boy tells me that the girl behind the counter said they couldnt take nothing because it smelled like smoke. Only thing is, my friend had washed them the night before i went to see her. I just walked out the store and said ok thats fine. A few things didnt feel right. 1- when i walked in, employees did greet me but i head a soft oh mid sentence of greeting. 2- after i put in my info the screen said to show my ID but she just handed my receipt and said come back later. 3- after taking the bin of baby clothes, i smelled them to see if they really did reak of smoke. They didnt. Not only was there something against me from the moment i walked it, but the cashier had an ugly look the entire time she spoke to me. Im HISPANIC, She was WHITE.

Great selection and a tidy enough establishment. The stars reflect the rude staff. I got an eye roll and an exasperated sigh after asking how much I owed. A little effort in customer service and basic manners would go a long way here.

I admit -- I couldnt care less about customer service in a resale shop. I am there to get in, find what I need, and get out as quickly as possible and with all the items I need in one stop. I have shopped at this store numerous times for children of multiple ages, quite successfully, and cant even tell you if the customer service was good or bad -- I just dont pay attention. (To be honest I also dont remember it being dirty or smelling like anything in particular.) So if you dont care either, and you need a HUGE store with a great selection -- this is your place. I love it and make the long drive to get there at least twice a year.

This used to be a great store to shop at for cheaper kids clothes and toys... but not so much anymore. Every time I have gone there to sell things they come up with some excuse as to why they can’t take this shirt or that toy. ‘It’s out of style.‘ or ‘it’s not what their looking for.’ I am also extremely disappointed in their customer service department. I’m never greeted when I go there, let alone helped with finding anything. I get blank stares from the employees behind the counter. After the trip I made there today, that wasted my time, energy and gas to get there, I won’t be coming back.

I love this place! i was never a fan of second hand items until i came to this specific store. i always go in there and find really good clothes and every time i find clothes with the original tags on too! I now drive an hour away to shop at this store! It is truly a treasure for kids clothes in the DFW area. I Havent found anything better. i think rich people just drop off their clothes here and i assume Justice next door is always giving them clothes. Bc my daughter loves Justice and Im always finding justice brand with the tags still on.

They always have a great selection and always give a generous amount for our gently used kids Clothes, when it comes time for resale.

I used to work here, I did not leave because of the work environment, I actually left because I was working two jobs at the time and I had to give up one because of the school year. Now that Ive gotten out of the way, while yes Ive seen all your comments on the customer service being bad it actually is great! Yes sometimes we are tired and grumpy but thats very rare. The only thing I have to say about this is just that the schedule isnt very flexible I recommend to make your plans for vacation early.

Older hispanic lady in the back was the rudest to everyone in the store including myself and I didnt even talk to her lol. I was standing at the counter on my phone with all the time in the world since I was off work and she barked someone will be right with you I didnt look up because I wasnt in a hurry and she repeated herself until I looked up. Whoa lady take a chill pill.

Went to look for clothes for my boys after not finding much at kid to kid and we fell in love! Our favorite part is that they have something for everyone and sooo much to choose from! It was worth the 30 minute drive. Prices were great too! Cant wait to go back

I got very terrible experience on sale clothes to this store. I sold three luggage very good quality ( some are brand new and famous brand such as gymboree, Boden, carter), I send to once upon a child, and one stuff informed me she will text me when the item is ready. After one week, I did not received any text form their side, and I called back . The stuff said they donated everything ( included my luggage) to charity (without my permission), but I did not get any notice from them. They donate all my stuff and switch my cash to store credit. This store put their policy on their receipt ( very small words) . The policy mention if you did not get your item back in the same day, they will donate all stuff to charity without inform you and also switch your cash directly to their store credit. please be aware of if you want to sale clothes to this store.

I have been a customer of OUAC for a few years. One day after being there for 3 hours (felt like 5 mins) just looking through all the items, I thought... why am I not working here? I love this place so I might as well get paid to be here! This was going to be my dream job, and being that I was a customer I knew I could use that to help meet the needs of other customers that were not being met. The number ONE issue that they have - and not just one store, but I believe the entire company - is in Customer Service. I personally have had several experiences with the store when I felt like I was such an inconvenience to the individual who came over to check me out. Once I began to work there, that was my number one priority to focus on and I had such a wonderful experience with the customers and received numerous thanks for finally treating them with respect and friendliness. Well, unfortunately, my style did not mesh with the company and was viewed as wasting time. Finally after several weeks of management and my fellow employees shutting me out and bullying, I left. This company is an amazing idea and would LOVE to still be with my dream job, but the issues they have stem from a much higher place than the cashiers. The management is horrible and it is a shame. Such wonderful clothes, toys, equipment, and on and on.... but it is such a shame that there are absolutely horrible employees in such a wonderful store.

This store is the best one in the DFW area. Really nice size store, with a great selection of both clothes and bigger toys. Staff is fast in regards to selling items; usually an one hour wait.

If you can help yourself and you are all business when its about shopping you will like this store. I wish the staff were more friendly, I would definitely make the drive more often.

Often I have had traumatic experiences with stores(PC) in the area and honestly would not have ever gone to another if the care and fair offer was not as of a redeeming of am experience as it was ! We had been coming to this place since our daughters were toddlers. Now they are pre teen. Everytime we were greeted cheefully and the clerks would make cute comments on our choices.Not this time.First, we got greeted by a bleached blonde male (nothing against his appearance, just a description so you know who I am talking about) who didnt even said hi... When my wife showed him a bag of shoes we had brought for sale he just barked... Uhhh we stopped buying for today.Maybe our fault. It was after all... 5:10 pm when they close at 6. Ok fine... Ive worked retail and I know how frustrating it is to try to close when the day is almost over but customers keep coming in.But we needed a couple of dresses and we had driven here instead of getting a cake at the Flour Shop... So we were committed. I was not going to get my cake... so at least we could get those dresses.We did the normal process of searching as fast as possible for our needs and then try them on, etc. Then we proceeded to the check out at around 5:45.We stand there with our selections and no one from the 6 or 7 teens sorting clothes makes eye contact. A couple of minutes pass... They keep looking at each other trying to ignore us until finally a thin blonde young woman takes our money.Non of the usual pleasantries like did you find all or even hello. She is evidently upset that she ended ringing us out. She even looked upset that my wife handed her a frequent shopper card. And sort of slammed the hangers on the desk.Then we walk to the door. Again, this was about 5 to 10 minutes till close and the door was locked. We stood there waiting for someone to unlock it... The bleached blonde boy looked at us... Then turned away... So we just helped ourselves out.Quick note about the door. It is against the law to lock in customers. It goes against local ordinances and federal laws. I understand this is a pretty standard retail practice but one that is not legal and in a store filled with tons of synthetic fivers, highly dangerous.A really terrible experience. Even my daughters commented on it.We understand that for these kids this might be a summer seasonal or similar job, and this is just something to do to get money for the movies but... Even if a clerk is paid a minimal wage, customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I expect this at McDonalds, I dont see why I should expect any less here.If these workers dont like this, just stay home and let someone else who needs the job and wants to do it the right way have it.

Honestly giving them 1 star is too much! They wanted to give me $2 for a new toy stating there were tears when it was a christmas gift and never even been used! There is a woman who is very rude everytime and gives horrible customer service!

Rudest people I have encountered. They literally talk crap about you while you are shopping and roll there eyes. If you hate working there then just quit because you are just making sales go so bad in that store. If you cant stand kids then youre in the wrong work field. Moms are going to go in that store with there children.

Manager Jonny is incredibly rude and degrades every employee. I have witnessed first hand. Other Manager or Assistant Manager Stefany is not helpful at all and will get another employee to help you rather than help you herself. Shocked any employee stays there. Owners should pop in every once in a while, or let the employees speak without fear of being fired. Planning on taking secret video sometime. One time I was there and the girl at the register was new and NOT A SINGLE OTHER EMPLOYEE WOULD HELP HER WITH HER QUESTION! She kept apologizing and trying to figure it out and with tears in her eyes said..Im so sorry...Im new. And asked again, then someone came over and snatched the stuff out of her hands and nearly pushed her out of the way. Horrible MANAGEMENT there. Some employees ok...others....should RUN.

I moved to Texas about 7 months ago and I love the company, I use to go to my old ounce upon once a week! But the workers in the flower mound location are terrible. I can only go on Sunday mornings due to my job, and I have never been treated more disrespectfully in my life! The staff is always rude, I go alone without my children and if you ask any of the girls anything they roll there eyes and talk about you as you walk away. I know Im not the only one that has been treated like this, other moms will mention there attitudes as we stand in line. Ally, I belive is her name is the staff member that has the most terrible attitude every time I have been there! I love the company and what it stands for, but it would be better if the manager Stephanie would notice the complaints and take action on her horrible staff. Please make some changes, me and my friends dont want to drive an hour to the next once upon just because the staff is so rude, we are adults, but still want to be treaded like people even if its at a retail store.Thank you

This place has some great deals and some of the employees are great. But theres always times I go in and the employees act annoyed when you bring in stuff to sell. And you have the bring in small bags or I dont think they even look at them. I once brought in a HUGE garbage bag full of designer baby clothes of all seasons. They told me there was nothing of value in there. It honestly didnt even look like they even opened the bag.

This is my absolute favorite Once Upon A Child. I have been to the ones in Denton, Carrollton, and Euless and they really just dont compare. I recently moved to Fort Worth and yesterday I drove all the way to Flower Mound just to find my daughter an exersaucer which was $35. (the one in Euless had none) While I was there I also scored my toddler a BRAND NEW Beatbo dancing robot for only $15 (over Christmas they were $50) and my preschooler Shimmer and Shine dancing toys for $7 each that retailed $40 a piece over Christmas as well!

I love how they had low prices and I bought 7 clothing for $28 all from justice!
