I dyed my hair dark dark brown a few months ago, it was cute but not me. I went in to Sally’s and got color remover, I did two treatments of this. I then came back to the store and told the lady working there in trying to stay as light as possible but I needed to get rid of the orange red color. She gave me a toner and a red remover... after toning and rinsing my hair it’s darker than it was to start with!I damaged my hair for nothing!Moral of the story, don’t listen to the workers! Do your own research before hand.

I went to Sallys to purchase an item which they were out of stock. Since it was my first time in store I browsed the place looking at many items. I was asked if i needed help looking for someone a few times then was immediately referred to a totally different place for supplies i was looking at. I finally found something i asked the saleswoman on how it works out. I purchased it without her telling me i needed a separate tool to use it. Got home 30 minutes later and could not use them.

I went in to find something to lighten my hair without bleach, and Im so sad i didnt take down the persons name, who helped me. I have been coming to Sallys since I first started dying my hair, 10 years ago. And I have never felt like the people, at the store I used to go to, knew much if anything. And just wanted me to spend a lot of money. But the woman who helped me today, changed my whole view. She not only helped me find the EXACT product I needed, but she made sure to help me find the least damaging and even asked me extensive questions to ensure I was getting the proper products. I am very happy with how my hair turned out and I will be visiting this location again, not only because I love Sallys but also because the two ladies on shift were spectacular.

Its ok in that you an get professional grade products but the lady who was working there I felt was a little judgemental. (She had a facial piercing and was pretty short) I was looking at extensions to give me my long hair back. Well the lady seemed she hated my questions and if she was allowed to tell me that Im to ignorant to be shopping here, she would. She also tried sending me home with extensions that were CLEARLY blonde and NOT brown like my natural hair color, it made me feel like she was trying to tell me I act blonde or something. And when I asked what was a decent brand and quality she was like well their all pretty good. In the end I just grabbed dark brown extensions and picked up hair dye as well. Overall the product I picked up was 1 big piece instead of small sections so I dont even think blending will make these extensions look good. Next time I guess Ill do more research before trusting an employee who clearly needs to have her judgemental attitude checked.
