Well like other reviewers it appears their delivery people are subpar. And our delivery dudes managed to mess up the brand new flooring in our home. And then denied doing it. In addition they left trash and foam everywhere which we had to clean up after them especially in the front yard. The dresser was either delivered damaged or the delivery people damaged it when assembling it but either way they tried to hide it initially. The bed was also delivered and assembled without the posts. The second bedroom set was ordered wrong by our sales person in the gallery so unfortunately the mattress did not fit. It’s actually been a nightmare for spending close to $7000. And now we have damaged floors. The customer service rep was very attentive however there was no offering on how to right some of these wrongs- although they are delivering the correct mattress and a new dresser. Just disappointing.

Went shopping on Saturday. I told Robyn what I was looking for (recliner chair and loveseat, no middle console for love seat). She lead me to a set and allowed me time alone to sit and review the furniture. Other furniture places have over attentive sales reps and I feel too much pressure. Robyn provided me space, checked in after about 10 min where I asked a few questions about delivery, material of furniture and protection plan. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions before giving me space again. The furniture was comfortable and looked great. I decided to for for the full set ( chair, loveseat, couch), with delivery and 5 yr protection for an extremely reasonable price. I had the furniture delivered on Tuesday and it looks great! I received a call about 20-30 min before arriving. Took them about 20 min to assemble and get the furniture in place. Thank you again Robyn for all your help!

This place was amazing! I swear that every other furniture store looks like it has the same furniture but this one has furniture Ive never seen before! I found a beautiful couch thats unique thats available NOW and Robin has got to be the sweetest person Ive ever met. She was so helpful and is still helping me with a hunt for one last piece that Im missing.

I have been to this store over a dozen times in the past year. The first time I had tagged along with a friend, and he filled his empty home with furniture from American Furniture Gallery. That was a fun trip! The selection was diverse, and the prices were fair. The staff is so nice, and helpful. But, Michael is my favorite sales person there.I recently bought a sofa, my first new one in a very long time. Not only did I get it for 50% off, but they delivered it snd set it up less than 24 hours later. It was a great experience doing business with American Furniture Galleries. I recommend them!Note: I tried shopping at several other furniture stores and had one bad experience after another. I just wanted a good sofa at a fair price! Rude sales people, and stores packed with unmasked customers, plus problems getting help... none of these issues happened on any of my many visits to this store!!!

A couple weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to purchase our first couch together as a couple, my old couch was hard and unfortunately causing us both back pain. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Design Consultant Robin D. whom explained they were having a store wide 50% off sale and everything was in stock! Pretty amazing!Their were a lot of options and Robin D patiently guided us through each one, she wanted us to be completely satisfied before purchasing! Thats some good customer service right there! We ultimately decided to get one of their most popular sofa recliners and the matching recliner I would call a man chair he-he, but its big enough to fit 2 people! Both are soft, plush and very comfortable, yet supportive for our backs and fully recline wide on both sides for our little family of 3 to relax and watch a movie together!I would highly recommend this location, I paid in full, delivery was just $99.00 and Im sitting here with my Seal Point Ragdoll completely asleep on my lap right now still satisfied with my purchase!

It was our first time in the American Furniture Store. The price is not cheap. We hope not to have any problems with the leather sofa and love seat we purchased. Would not recommend. Bought a dining table and stools and a buffet. The buffet was delivered but they forgot the table. The guys complained about bringing it up stairs. Well don’t be a delivery guy if it’s a problem. I tried to buy several pieces to offset the $129 delivery. When they forgot the table and told me the stools were 4-6 on back order I canceled it. 9 days later I called to get the status of my refund which they clearly hadn’t processed. Then I magically had my money back the next day. Too many choices around for that terrible service.

American Furniture had available furniture when others did not! A real issue at this time! And We received the 2 rooms of furniture as scheduled 2 days after purchase!! Tim Cummings was very helpful. So we would liked to of given 5 stars except for the only issue was with our sectional sofa. One of the sections did not line up with the other two sections and the fabric was loose on the cushion leaving it wrinkled after sitting on it for the first time.

This was my first visit to American Furniture. We were greeted by the salesman Mike . He was very helpful and friendly. After we told him what we were looking for he immediately showed us the item and we made the purchase. When we return we will always ask for Mike.

American Furniture Galleries Folsom is an amazing store. I was able to purchase two beautiful dining room sets, a lovely sectional, entire queen bedroom set with mattress and box spring,and lastly a king mattress. My sales person Dee was so nice through the entire process. It was my wife and I first time buying what I like to call adult furniture and we have different styles apparently😀. The management team was amazing also, I have gone to other American Furniture Galleries locations and did not have the same experience, so if you need furniture I recommend American Furniture Galleries Folsom off East Bidwell.

The sales man that helped us in the store... I believe his name was Don C. was absolutely amazing. It felt like he knew exactly what I was looking for. The shopping experience was very quick and easy. My stuff was delivered within a couple days. The delivery guys were my problem though. They tried to get the base of my bed up the stairs twice and then claimed they could not do it. I tried to explain to them a good was to get it up the stairs, but they didnt seem to be on the same page when we tried. I told them to leave it and I would handle it. Sure enough... Being the 51 woman that I am I was able to get it up the stairs on my own. I dont feel like they had good customer service when delivering. Overall, Im very happy with my products though.

I wasn’t hassled as I browsed throughout the store and the sales representative, Aaron, gave me space and time for me to really consider my options. I decided on a bedroom set and he was ready with the numbers and information right when I needed it. My furniture shipped exactly when scheduled and was delivered to me without issue. Aaron was wonderful to work with and I would definitely return to purchase furniture from him again in the future. The furniture is the great quality and I’m very happy with my purchase.

What awesome customer service we received from Aaron at American Furniture. He greeted me when I came in and asked how he could help me narrow down what I was looking for. When I told him the size/ color/style and material I was looking for, he immediately escorted me to some examples. He was right on. I loved what I saw. I told him I needed to purchase and take with me today— could not wait for shipping. He again immediately was able to help me by reserving it at their warehouse for me to pick up on a half hour. I loved the discount I received ( great sale price) and the ease with which we completed the transaction. Even the warehouse was efficient and clean and customer- oriented. The furniture looks great in my home and seems to be great quality. Kudos to Aaron and American Furniture and I will do my next furniture shopping at THIS store!

We just purchased a beautiful dining room table and chairs, along with a beautiful buffet (server). The buffet was not in stock and had to be ordered. Monique, the head of customer service, went above and beyond to ensure we had our furniture before the holidays. We really appreciate all of her efforts. Our delivery was timely and the delivery drivers were very professional. Could not be happier with our dining room furniture. We purchased our living room furniture there as well and will definitely be purchasing future bedroom sets from the American Furniture Gallery in Folsom.

Went in tonight to find a bedroom set and couch, very last minute... as I am moving Saturday. Had a bad experience at a “big box” store where my mom had just purchased a sofa for me. The price was changed and she was being charged an extra 200+ dollars just for delivery. Walked into the store an felt instantly overwhelmed, because there is just so much to choose from! Aaron saw me enter the store looking bewildered and lost. He introduced himself and asked what I was searching for. I told him my predicament and we started off! We looked at bedroom sets first, he was patient, understanding about my stress level and just all around a nice guy. Then my mom entered the store. He immediately made her feel better and that we would be taken care of. He didn’t make me feel pressured or like I was wasting his time, even after sitting on the 12th couch!He really went above and beyond to make this first time furniture purchase a good one. I’m very happy I stumbled into the store tonight and can’t wait for my new room and gorgeous couch to arrive this weekend!

Its unfortunate that I even have to write this, but I hope it helps someone in the future. We were ready to give this place 5 stars up until yesterday when we had our kitchen table delivered. See, what happened was- We went into this store to browse and ended up finding a table SET that we loved- When speaking to the sales rep Aaron, he said THE SET we were looking at was available and on sale. We were not ready to buy just yet, so we ended up coming back the following weekend, asked for Aaron and verbatim said We would like to buy the table with the 4 chairs and bench He knew exactly who we were and what item we were speaking of. Unfortunate the display was gone and we had to take his word on the set. We confirmed multiple times that this set came with a bench....in which he replied yes. Come yesterday, we have no bench. We call Aaron and even go into the store to complain and the managers told us we should have known it did not come with a bench. Here is where I am confused. WHY would you put a MATCHING bench with MATCHING chairs and a table if the bench is not included? And if it wasnt, why werent we up sold the bench by the salesperson? He clearly knew we wanted the table WITH THE BENCH, and if he knew it was not included with the table, why did he not say Hey, I know you two like the bench, but its separate, did you want to add that? Because we would have purchased it! Furniture sales people are grimey and will trick you into anything they can. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until you confirm what you are getting. We will never come back and we will make sure to tell our family and friends to avoid this store at all cost. I would be happy to remove my review if they give us the bench we paid for.

Well made furniture but was delivered with a scratch. Tried multiple times to get a replacement or get it fixed and never got a call back. Finally gave up. Great selection just hope you don’t have anything damaged.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I ordered a bedroom set from the Folsom store for my son around Thanksgiving. I was told by Dee it would arrive in 2-4 weeks. Plenty of time before he came home from Christmas break. After 5 weeks with no furniture, no phone call, no communication whatsoever, I contacted the store and was told that it would arrive mid January. Mid-January came and no furniture, I was then told it would be there by the end of the week (Jan 17th)...or by the 21st AT THE LATEST. 21st arrives and still NO FURNITURE. I call and somebody calls me back at end day to say that they had halted production of the furniture, but should have it back in stock by mid-February. I asked if anyone could see that when they look up my order, I was told they could. Unreal. Dishonest sales people just to make a $1k deal. NEVER AGAIN will I shop there. Their lack of honesty and integrity is disgusting.

Although I didnt make a purchase on this day, Customer Service was great. Staff were helpful with attending to my need. Which is more than I can say for their outlet store.

Don’t waste your money!!!The store looks nice & the people are nice but the products aren’t worth it.We bought a mattress and HATED it the first night. It feels NOTHING like the mattress in the store. We checked the label several times to make sure & even went back to the store to try the mattress they had. We are severely disappointed and quite literally physically in pain! Customer service won’t do anything to help and told us the mattress needs to be “broken in” but my body is almost broken from only 2 nights of sleep. (We gave up and sleep in our living room now) Two thumbs down.

Really disappointed! AFG seemed so nice and the guy helping us was super chill, but it has been two months and they can’t give us an estimate on when our couch will be delivered!The guy helping us didn’t call us at the end of our first month-long estimate of delivery time, so we called him. He said they had no idea when they would be able to get it to us afterall, and that he just hadn’t thought to call us yet. He said give us 2-4 more weeks, and promised to call. It’s been 4 weeks as of yesterday. He didn’t call. My fiance called yesterday, only to find out that apparently he’s not even in.Unbelievable customer service. Do not shop here if you want your items delivered on time or if you expect that they will be able to contact YOU if something happens with your order. Extremely frustrating, and nothing was offered for the inconvenience. Going in tomorrow to ask for our money back so we can shop elsewhere.

Salesman was super friendly said it would be 2-4 weeks. It was closer to 6 & the power recline on loveseat wouldn’t close all the way. They replaced the whole unit. I would buy from them again.
