They did an amazing job helping me and my partner fit her new bike for her! Travis and Kay, I believe his name was, were very knowledgeable and helpful with not only making sure the bike fit her needs but answered every question I had about multiple items. Highly recommends them to anyone getting into biking or needing advice, youll be in good hands.

Just bought my Giant Talon 4 and some extras from Folsom Bike and the experience couldnt have been better. When I came to pick it up it was ready and the only adjustments I needed were the brakes so they are to my liking, but everything else was set up perfectly, they helped me get some better grips installed and had them ready by the time I got all the things I needed and was checking out! Thanks to Josh for his help in store and to him and Andrew for over the phone help and getting the bike paid for over the phone so they could hold it for me as it was the last one. Thanks for your help guys, Ill definitely be back for those pedals to match my grips!

I recommended Folsom bike to the person who gave me a ride to drop off my bikes for service as well as to the person who took me to pick them up. The staff at this location is awesome! (And I have no reason to think the EDH location is any different, but Ive never actually been.)The friendliness, knowledge, care, help, patience are all beyond reproach. Every time I enter the store Im greeted by name by at least 2 employees (usually more, depending on how many are actually working that day), and they remember my bikes as well!! Particular shout-out for this most recent visit. They got my bikes in tip-top shape, and were timely and informative communicating when one needed more service than we initially thought. They called me quickly to let me know what they found, what needed to be done and how much it would cost, and what would have prevented the problem. What more could I ever ask for from a bike shop?

I bought a new Trek road bike here the beginning of February and it was a terrible experience over all. We received poor customer service right from the start and lack of communication between employees. When I brought my bike back in the middle of June for my free tune up, there was again zero communication between employees that I was arriving (even though I had made an appointment) and the gentleman who handled the tune up was very condescending and rude. My bike didn’t appear to have been tuned up at all and was still even dusty from my ride the day before. Last of all, it has only been about 5 weeks since my “tune up” and my bike is making a clicking sound. Disappointing experience all around. Will not be hopping here again. Buyer beware!!Added update: I went to another cycling shop this week and they fixed all issues for me. They also told me that my bike was clearly not tuned up by Folsom Bike and that they get many customers who come from Folsom Bike because of Folsom Bike’s terrible customer service.

My husband and I with my daughter decided visit this store we would like to purchase one of the mans bike for $700. and additionally bike rock but my husband asked if he can go outside with a staff for a test drive. Store staff told him only way he can test drive if he can give them his drivers license and credit card. We told store employees we not going to purchase bike because don’t want to live our credit card unsupervised and would like to purchase bike rock but employees denied our purchase. Only explanation I have for this Folsom Bike store” seems that store employees not use to serve black populations. My husband is Black and my daughter. This store employees demonstrated extremely prejudism toward my family. If you are black or person who cares about equal rights in society please take this in consideration. We went to Bob,s bike store and purchase very good bike for my husband and me.

Friendly service, helpful and communicative. Great salesmen and know how to make you need a bike. They also cut my post down quite a bit since Im fairly short. Walked away with a nice entry level full suspension bike and osprey hydrating pack which all ended up unintentionally matching my SUV.

They also have a good selection of bikes and they will not stop until the brand new bike you bought has everything tuned up and ready to roll. Was looking for a Trek bike and you had 1 in stock, Salesman Mike was very friendly and helpful, he checked the floor to see if the bike I wanted was in stock, and processed the sale over the phone so I could get the last one left. Andrew was super helpful when I went to test ride, he made several adjustments to make sure the bike was best suited for my height before I took it home, would highly recommend Folsom Bike.

I wait in the sales line because I need to buy a cassette that is in stock, once my turn to enter the store and sales sends me to the service counter, service counter rep wants me to go to the end of the service, he does know that I was in line before the customers that are now in the service line, once I get the cassette, they now want you to go back into another line to pay. Couldnt be happier with the service we experienced here from Delaney! Not only did he listen to what my mother and I wanted from our bicycles, but he was able to match us immediately to bikes which caught both our eyes, and explain in rigorous detail how the bikes matched our desires. Not only that, but we were able to take the bikes out for a test ride either in the parking lot, or down the nearby trails, one of which crosses over the American River in front of Folsom Dam! My knowledge of bikes is minimal. I really try to support local businesses, especially now.. Was looking for bikes for my sons, and to learn about options. Stopped by on a rainy day, store was empty. The young man working as greeter was awesome. He tried helping and tried connecting me with a sales representative so that my questions can be answered. The only answer the sales rep was interested in giving me was to come back in January 2021. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the customer service, or lack there of. I wont be returning.

We had three bikes, all with different issues, in need of correcting. Our bikes have always gotten good use from us, but the latest events have seen to it that our bikes are getting even greater use so when there is an issue, it needs correcting quickly and correctly.We brought all our bikes for service and Folsom Bikes staff immediately went to work, reviewing the bikes, their needs, and the possibilities of other needs that would be determined. There was never a question of what was going to be done to our bikes and we left them there with complete trust and faith that we would be treated fairly and our bikes would, once again, be safe and ready for riding.Right on time, we received a call stating our bikes were ready. I went to pick them up and the staff, again, went to work to help bring them out to the front, they went over every detail of what they did to correct our concerns, but also other things they found that they were able to adjust and improve to get the bikes back into top shape. They provided every replaced part, where they were any, and reviewed everything about the service and safe operation of the bikes. There was no doubt that the bikes had not only received a thorough going over that extended above and beyond my expectations but Folsom Bike takes a very serious concern to ensure that any bike that comes out of their service department is safer than when it arrived and completely safe to ride.We cannot thank Folsom Bike enough for getting not just my and my wifes bikes back in great shape but our 9-year-old daughters bike back in action. They provided service that is best described as viewing their customer as family. They care and they made sure we were completely and fully informed of the process, the expense involved, and the timeline to get our bikes back to us. They hit every mark! Ordered a small tool I needed online and was sent a confirmation that it was ready to pick up. So I drove all the way out there and was told, Sorry, but the part was not here--it was not transferred over from the warehouse. So, because I really needed a specific tool, I was forced to pay for a similar tool that cost twice as much!Guys behind the counter are NOT customer friendly! In fact, while I was waiting to find out about the part I ordered, I asked one of the staff members if he had ever applied a vinyl protector to a mountain bike to protect the paint. He arrogantly responded, Oh I dont mess with that, I just buy a new bike!!. Well, gee...so sorry that the rest of us peasants feel the need to protect what we work hard and pay for.

Staff was very unprofessional. i called to check on an item 3 weeks ago and I was told that they would put my name on a list in call me once the item arrivved.I called back today and now Im told that I was to pay for the bike in advance and check on the company website for stock .really!! the person was in a hurry and wouldnt allow me to ask questions but keep stating he has no control. I will not recommend this place for nothing. ill take my money else where....

Folsom Bike has a very large inventory of electrical power bikes and man power bikes plus a complete inventory of biking clothes and all other things you would want for your bikeing trip . I was looking to have a motor put on my bike . The shop does all types of repair, not this type of mod . The staff was very helpful .

If you dont see it, we dont have it We drove 1.5 hours and arrived at Folsom Bikes, and immediately there was something different about this bike shop. The staff was amazing. We were introduced to Drew and he showed us several bikes. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. We ended up buying 2 bikes and a hitch rack. The service and attention to details Drew gave us was truly beyond amazing. For the people and service, I would drive 1.5 hours any day to give Folsom Bike my business. Thanks again Drew!

Folsom bike staff is incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you are just beginning or have been riding for years, they will take care of you. Folsom Bike carries a decently sized selection of bikes varying from entry level to advanced. They carry gear which is high quality and fair priced, you can find great gear on a budget and even greater gear for higher dollar. Folsom Bike also has a dedicated section of the store for womens gear. It makes it inviting and easy to shop for womens gear. The owner definitely put effort into this section of the store to make it both fun and inviting for women.Travis primarily helped me out and he spent hours with us helping me choose an entry level road bike and getting it set up with new handle bar tape, pedals, and water bottle cages. He shared so many tips and a plethora of biking knowledge with us. He allowed for the experience to be both fun and exciting.I will certainly be coming back to Folsom Bike for gear and bike tune ups. And would recommend this shop to anyone.

Great service n staff, very helpful

Did the basic tune up for 2 bikes knowing front brakes needed work. They put new rotors on both bikes and upgrade one of them without asking permission at double the cost. After challenging them on that they lowered the price of the rotor to their cost. After they finished, the upgraded brake was not adjusted and the lever hit the handle bar. Upon asking them to fix this, I was told that isnt included in the basic service. So just confirm that after spending over $375, new rotors and brake pads they cant adjust a brake properly? Also took the bikes in on Friday and was quoted they would be ready by Sunday, they werent ready until Tuesday. Horrible service and a complete rip off.Erin the owner has since contacted me and corrected the situation. Thank you Erin. I will now again do business with Folsom Bike.
