I have had my 2016 South Bay pontoon boat at Mello Marine (Sacramento region South Bay Dealership) since the beginning of March 2021 (going on to 4 months) for some minor warranty work as well as a floor replacement that is also covered by warranty, however, I am told that will happen sometime in the Fall (no date commitments as of yet). In the mean time, my boat is sitting idle in the baking sun and covered in dust in the rear lot as Mello Marine can not seem to come up with 2 bimini boots and a ignition switch.. Communication was good at 1st, however, I am beginning to think that there is simply zero urgency. if one of my vendors was failing my customers in this manner - I would be raising holy hell with them. All while they continue to promote and sell new South Bay boats on their sales lot.*** Update, after I was able to make contact with the regional South Bay Rep via a Facebook South Bay owners group page - things kicked into high gear. Mello Marine got me the boat back with the minor repairs made and the assurance that the big job will be completed by factory reps in the fall. In fact, when I went to grab the boat, the owner Sally came and spoke to me for a bit. She was apologetic and sincere. She explained that due many aspects of covid affecting her business and the supply chain that it depends on she was at wits end.. 3/10/2021 Post - I’m concerned how long you have been doing this, being that Mello Marine has been in business for many years. You are currently selling a 2005 Centurion Enzo SV 216 that was listed for $39,950 in Discovery Bay last week. That exact boat you are now listing for $51,995. I know it’s the same boat because I contacted the last owner and he told me it was sold and now I see the same CF # on this boat on your website. Why, especially during this pandemic, are you price gouging your clients? This tells me that you have been practicing this type of business for many years. Do not purchase anything from this location.

Terrific place to buy your SUP and accessories; really the only knowledgeable option in the Sacramento area. Large selection of boards and a great place to see hands-on before you buy. Sally and Brandi were extremely patient with all of our questions and helped guide us through the many options. Highly recommended.
Worst experience in over 40 years of owning a boat. A.J. (owner?) and staff took our boat in over a month ago to R&R throttle cable, diagnose electrical, clean bottom of boat and change out transom boot - which they said was bad (no proof of defect). I called over and over again for a status and was lied to time after time: A.Js working on it right, throttle cable is done, bottom has been cleaned, etc., etc. Finally after a number of unanswered calls, and told them to wrap it up, turns out that they only fixed the one issue that they allegedly found to be an issue. The boat was left out in the rain and sat for over a month with nothing done. They blatantly lied to me, call after call. They might be nice guys, but serioously lack character and business acumen!!!!!

Awesome place to buy your water toys. Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. I received a great deal on a new SUP board and accessories! I even inquired about a boat and received more information then expected...an awesome experience. They even went out of their way so I can pick up my new purchase early and in a safe manner! Met some of the staff out on the water afterwards in which I still received the most friendliest help and advise! Best thing is no pushing for sales, just educating for the best match up so we (as customers) have the best experience. I recommend everyone to come here!

My husband and I purchased a boat from Sally sight unseen from a different state and had it shipped. Sally was awesome to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we hd all the info possible and to make sure we felt good about our purchase of a used boat. She assured us it was mechanically sound and aesthetically very clean and it did not disappoint. Its actually been a year since our purchase and we could not be happier. They are very honest and ethical people and trusted them enough to buy a used boat from them and didnt even see the boat in person before it arrived at my house. I would highly recommend buying a boat from them new or used because of how I was treated and the product we received.
Sally and the entire team at Mello made the purchase of our beautiful new custom ordered FI23 a pleasure. We were somewhat dreading the idea of purchasing new, because one, we thought we could get more bang for our buck used, but after seeing the FI23 and talking/dealing with the sales team we were sold. Secondly, we like most, hate car sales people which I can say that they are definitely not. They were very upfront and helpful throughout the entire process. We also never felt pushed to spend more than what we needed in fact they were helping us take things away to help cut costs so that we felt comfortable with the payment and yet were still happy with the end product. From walking into the showroom up until delivery the customer service we received was exceptional. We love our new boat!!! Thank you very much to the team at Mello Marine.
Cabbot went above and beyond to explain the differences between the SUPs I was looking at. He made sure that I got the board that best fit my needs. No pressure at all from any of the sales staff. I took my new board out twice over the weekend and was not disappointed. Thanks Mello Marine!
I purchased a brand new Four Winns H190 from Kenny and the Mello Marine team! It’s beautiful. I went into several other dealerships and none were as genuinely kind, approachable, respectful and knowledgeable as Mello. Being that it was my first boat purchase ever (not my first boat experience) they were extremely helpful and engaged in making this a positive and painless experience. Even the finance guy, John at Priorty one, made me feel welcome and answered every question.Not even 24 hours after bringing my new boat home, I took it out to a river, and caught the prop on a sand bar. I felt like a complete idiot. When I texted Kenny, he called right away and had me bring it in... what a rookie mistake. I was so embarrassed and so mad at myself. I couldn’t believe it!Kenny, Sally, Mike, Roxy and the entire team was ready waiting for me to assure me they’ve seen worse. They changed out my prop, made sure the boat was back to normal and got me back on the water right away, free of charge. Mike even hugged me and reassured me that I would eventually be a pro, not to worry.Two lessons learned....one, stick to deep water lakes! Two, stick to the Mello Marine family for all of your boat buying, service and ego repair needs.Thanks to the entire Mello Marine family!!!
