I dont care much for this Walmart. I usually dont have a positive experience, but this day, I really did. The one lady working asked if she could help and when we couldnt find what I was looking for she got out her personal phone and assisted me with ordering an item. She was so nice and went above and beyond. She was a blessing to me that day!
Folsom Walmart offers a good shopping experience. They are well stocked, clean and organized at this location. They have a Subway restaurant inside, self checkout and regular cashiers. The restrooms are usually clean as well. The customer service line moves fast too
The prices are great...when the products can be found on the shelves. The carts work fine to hold your groceries but good luck finding one with 4 good wheels. Thank goodness I can check myself out so I dont have to wait on one of them to slowly do it.
Went late and hungry. Found food options I havent been able to find anywhere else. Some super nice employees and others that dont want to be there. Only self-checkout at night.
Didnt get help we needed. Workers were inadequate and not helpful. Ended up leaving feeling worse off after spending hundreds there because of the way the workers treated us as customers. They almost sold us a used pillow without telling us.We will not be telling others to go here, we will suggest actively avoiding certain workers. Greeters were wonderful, cashiers were definitely not. They need customer service training again!
Fast and convenient. Great variety of food and lifestyle items. Would like to see less Chinese items though. They are so cheaply made.
No managers ever take time for customers. They are famous for lying, not helping the Disabled, properly keeping stock where people can access, taking their time opening cases that require key access. Using excuses of shortage of employees due to the Pandemic! If Sam Walton was still among the living, it would be a bad day for the corporate level employees to face. Actually, he would die seeing how his current corporation is treating his beloved customers are being treated!DONT PLAY INTO THIS STORES B. S. GAMES!!!!
Needed razors from the razor case. Asked a clerk for help. She pointed me to the button on the case to ask for help. Pressed the button. Nothing. Pressed the button again 5 min later,...nothing. CALLED and TEXTED ZACK per the notice on the RAZOR case, still nothing. Got another clerk to help me get the key, response in 2 minutes. THE PROCESS to buy a razor from the razor case is BROKEN. This is a Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback. FIX your accountability for your process. This was a 20 minute wait for customer service.

Poor customer service overall. It has been the case with this place for more than a decade now. Most recent experience: ordered pad lock online in the morning for pick up later in the day. Got confirmation email around 12.30 pm that the order was ready for pick up. I was going to go around 6 pm and pick up. But, got another mail at 4.30 pm saying the order was canceled due to high demand. Really?? Why did they charge my card and got my order ready for pick up if there was high demand? Something changed in 4 hours and they determined that I was not worthy as a customer for their high demand product?Just go to Target or somewhere else. Dont waste your time.
The auto center is very disappointing. I made an appointment and when I showed up the entire auto center was closed. Not one employee knew what was going on in the main part of the store, I even spoke to a manager and they said theyre not sure, must be closed for the day. Yes, I can see that its closed but I made an appointment and was not told that it was cancelled? Your website and physical store still says the auto center is currently open... Whats worse is that this has happened to me MULTIPLE times. At this point, Id rather take my servicing business elsewhere. I want to point out that I have called the customer service like over 30 to 40 times and no one picks up, and after a 7 minute hold I get dropped from the call. This goes for main store, auto, and pharmacy. Quality has REALLY gone down and thats unfortunate because I was a big supporter of the business.
First of all, no one answers the phone when you call. Secondly, their website gives incorrect times when the Automotive Department opens. I got here at 7:15am come to fine they don’t open til 8:00am. It is 8:18, and my car still isn’t being worked on. I’m the first in line. I overheard a man say, he made an appointment online to get his tires fixed. The employee said, we don’t do tires on Mondays! Who doesn’t do tires in the tire department?I don’t blame the employees in the Automotive Department, all were very nice & willing to help.I blame the Management who runs this store.

Filthy, dirty store and greatly lacking any compassion for their loyal shoppers!! I literally feel gross when I leave the store. The Folsom Walmart is mismanaged, poorly kempt, rude employees, has gone to having normal checkout to only self check and just a very, dirty, negative shopping experience. The garden entrance is now closed preventing individuals/seniors from a convenient entrance to the pharmacy section. So now individuals that have a challenge walking now have to walk through the entire store to get to the pharmacy. And speaking of pharmacy that is another great Challenge. My opinion... the store needs to be closed down!!

The shelves are not always fully stocked but its definitely my go to store.
As always, worst customer service. I hate that this is my local Walmart. I try hard not to shop here because of the customer service.I was trying to buy a box fan in store. No price on the shelf for the products so I scanned the bar code with the app and it told my it was $19 on the Walmart website. When I was rung up for it they told me it was $24. I showed them my phone showing their website had it for $19. It turned out my phone had the store location for a store in the next town over (10miles away). They refused to price match their own store. Frustrating and illogical.In the end I still made my purchase out of necessity. Doesnt make for a happy customer though.

Zero Stars!!!This is the fourth time receiving rotten fruit or produce from this Walmart delivery service. Some of the Clementines are hard as a rock and others are mushy and bruised! Bananas are bruised so bad they are opening themselves and detaching from the stems! Everything has to be thrown in the garbage! What is it with Walmart you save the rotten food for the customers who use delivery service? Dont try calling them the phone just rings & rings &rings & rings!! I had to call the Walmart Off Auburn-Folsom Rd asking if they can call over to the Riley St Walmart and have them call me LOL Ridiculous. Im over this store seriously!
Its like any other Walmart cheap merchandise with a crew that works their butts off were very little pay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything is easy to find just like every other Walmart.
I went in to order to go and have beer. Although the server was over 18 she said she was not legally able. Interesting as the actual law states a server 18 and over can do so WITH food service. They said manager was out on delivery.Now, this is a stupid policy that the restaurant has and why was the manager out.Three people working and none can serve..
I can usually always what I need at this store. They keep it really well stocked.
Very disappointed in there lack to respond to an incoming call. The first time I called a lady picked up and I asked her if they carried a product I was looking for. I ended up on hold and then the call got cut off. I called 2 more times with approximately 3 minutes of just ringing. I even tried 2 other Walmart just to have the same situation of no one picking up after approximately 3 minutes of waiting. Such a waste of time.

I needed the service center and money center which is supposed to be open til 8 pm. I was at the placerville Walmart and their center closed early. So as I drove to this store I called to see if their center was open. I called at 7PM and no one answered the phone. I called 6 times in a row,each time it rang atleast 20 times then it would hang up on me. I called 6 times and no one, not one single person thought to pick up the phone!!!! I drove all that way to find the service center closed. Why cant someone pick up the damm phone??? When I called the Walmart on folsom Blvd they answered on the first ring. You need to get your act together.
The entire shop, especially Albert, gave me awesome customer service! I cannot say enough good things about all the individuals involved! Albert, in particular, went to the ends of the earth in order to please me! He succeeded in spades!
You can pretty much find what you are looking for. The bakery is pretty good. Clean and has a good self checkout area.
Was ok.. unhappy that you can only buy 2 or 12 cinnamon balls. Asked for twelve they didnt have enough so they tried to sell me them two at a time at full price.... Bwahahaha
Their drive up experience is the worst. Why come to my car to see if I am who I am without my bags? Then spend 20 mins getting what was said to have been ready via email confirmation. Target has a better drive up.
Horrible store. Always a mess. Rude staff especially the lady wanting to see my receipt. You watched me buy my item then asked me to see it. You Ms can go ride a :#!*Never in my life have I ever been in a store ( Except Steelyard Commons in Cleveland) where you feel.we come there just to steal from you. Horrible!! Pants I tried to buy a few days ago, were actually $3 higher at checkstand. Needed these particular pants, so when in Folsom, this time I wanted clerk to scan so I could make sure it was correct price. THERE WAS NO ONE TO BE FOUND, no one, that could scan and confirm price that was on tag!! Finally, had to get manager!! Showed manager discrepancy and he agreed the price tagged and price coming up when scanned, was different. He walked us to one of the few registers open (on a busy Saturday) and explained to cashier, the price to charge me.No wonder we go to Target 99% of the time...they have price check kiosks throughout the stores, so you can confirm prices before getting to checkstand!!The store was also out of every spray bottle of sanitizer & paper towels, sanitizer dispenser & wipes upon entering store, used to clean carts! Even with covid infections on increase, I guess management believes threats of getting covid is OVER...or they just dont care...Im betting on the latter!!

This store is dirty, mgrs/employees are rude, the lines are long and they are always OOS on key items.
We found Carolina Reapers, Jalepeno, Tropical Corn plant, Better Homes & Garden Gnome statue. The store is nice and clean not as crowded.
Staff us kind of rude, like its totally inconvenient for them to help you. But the prices are good, and the selection in the clothes is pretty good usually

If their was a no ⭐ thats what Id give. Half the bathroom stalls are broken. Their is no costumer service on floor. However the cashier Richard was fast and efficient and I greatly appreciated it. So ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the gentleman Richard.
I pull in to park and stop in the aisle to let the Walmart guy (he had his Walmart employee vest on) picking up shopping carts to pass by the open parking spot I was going to park in. Understand, I stopped as he was still walking towards me, my car. Imagine my surprise when he left his machine used to make moving the shopping carts easier, and the one or two carts he had already picked up, right in front of the parking spot I was waiting for! How do you do that? Oh, I know; it’s because you don’t care enough about anyone else to be considerate. If he already had 50 carts or something, I wouldn’t expect him to avoid blocking a parking spot in front of a car trying to park. However, he literally left his machine in front of the space, in front of my car and continued walking past my car to get to the enclosure where other shopping carts were. He couldn’t have continued to bring his machine, etc. with him? Walmart management, if you read this, you might consider providing some expectations to your employees. And watch how they do their job so you can provide feedback and any additional training required. Not that it will make a difference to me; I will only be back to your store if I don’t have any other options.

The people inside see me all the time, and they are always friendly to greet and make sure we find everything we need! Always clean, and always on time to open when said.
To be honest, Ive never had a bad experience here, if I need to find something, Ill use the Walmart app for the aisle its in.
Everything was easy to find and the products were priced right for easy sale.

Lines moved pretty quick. Womens intimate apparel & section was my problem. We were there pretty early in the morning and the bra section looked as if a classroom of 1st graders had ran through and destroyed it. I mean ransacked it. Several other customers commented the same. We also needed help at the jewelry counter and no one seemed to want or care to help us except for one associate that was scared to death to leave her post. We are grateful she did though because even the CSM or manager standing there with her didnt seem to want to help either because he walked off.
Frustrating!Took my elderly father in to pick out some shirts with snaps and some pants. This store had neither.Ill have to order online and choose thr colors for him.

Dirty, terribly managed store! 12 plus registers only one open and a line of 11 people. The cashier was oblivious. The employees dont know their merchandise nor where any of it is located.

This Walmart is one of the few that seems to actually stock their shelves. They could use a cashier or two though. Store is always clean.
Went in to purchase a money order for $100. They would not sell me one because I had no ID. I am done with Walmart.
Still not fully stocked always out of things I need. I have to go to Winco or Raleys.
This Walmart is clean, has a good selection. There is also a Subway Restaurant inside. Not enough registers open. But, a good store.
I bought strawberries and Black Cherry flavored water very good deal. I went to 3 stores: Sams Club and Costco Wal-Mart was the third store they were the only one that had it very happy.

Staff is helpful and I can easily find stuff here. Unlike other Walmarts, I can find what Im looking for, especially trading cards. I only wish they could limit the number of card boxes/packs so that scalpers (who dont seem to work regular jobs) dont get to buy them all and leave nothing for regular folks.

I am a disabled senior. I usually need a electric cart when I go to Walmart. Lately I have had to wait 25-45 just for cart. There needs to be replacements for the ones that have died. The carts you do have are not working properly. This is a vital need for seniors and other disabled person. The other thing is that they are dirty, some one needs to clean them to protect our health. I truly hope this is taken care of as soon as possible.
Store is most of the times empty. Always low on stocks for most of the items (home section, bath section, Kitchen section and so on). Also some of the stocks are broken pieces..

The only thing I have to say as I think your prices are too high especially for elderly over 60 or if youre over 60 and you were in the service and now youre right theyre going to start going up I here that is ridiculous for TV you make millions and we go broke and hungry that is a shame on you but we cant survive without a phone or a TV

I loved this place so much that I live here now! The first time going, I was selfcheckouting a 60 TV for the price of a package of gum. Suddenly, an employee ran up to me and I thought I had been caught but instead she asked if she could help me carry out the TV that I had and I graciously excepted this offer and she helped me take the TV out to my car and even gave me a 5% off my next purchase coupon! Aside from the service, the store is open 24 hours so I can literally stay here all day (And I do!) Great store!
