I took my husbands current wedding ring to Zales to have another one custom made and have our initial and wedding date engraved for our 10 year anniversary. I took my husbands ring in and Trevor the sales person verified the size. During the transaction, I told him about the engraving and he told me that they would do it once the ring was finished. About three weeks later Veronica calls me and tells me the ring is ready to be picked up, I inquired about the engraving and was told that I would have to go back in, verify the purchase and then they would have to send it back, and it would take another 3-4 weeks. I went back to the store and spoke with Trevor again, and this time he tells me that there would be another charge for the special engraving to which I got really mad because all of these issues should have been discussed with me prior to taking my money. Next, I hand Trevor my husbands ring to make sure sizing was correct, and by now you can guess that it was not. Trevor tells me that the ring is 83/4 and the one he placed the order for is 9.9. He had the audacity to say that when he measured my husbands finger was 9.5, to which I reminded him that my husband never been there. He also had the nerve to ask me if I was taking the ring. Off course I am not taking the ring! It is not what I ordered.I fell that they are rushed to make the sale instead of being transparent with their customers about charges. It is definitely not worth saving a buck or two. I will pay twice as much somewhere else and actually get what I want.
I ordered a mothers day gift which was a bracelet for my wife online. They had no problem taking my money but when I went in on mothers day to get it they couldnt find it. I called the following week still couldnt find it. I finally call online department and the lady told me it arrived broken they where fixing it and it would be ready Wed. Called Wed it never showed up. Called online again and was told product was beaing returned to the warehouse due to non pickup. 🤬🤬🤬
Went in looking for a mothers day gift. Victoria was able to help and educate me. Thanks Victoria.
Super friendly and helpful.Excellent customer service.
I worked here years ago. Very toxic environment. The unstable female manager accused me of stealing with zero proof. I was floored by her accusations since I have never stole anything in my life. Same manager would just start crying out of the blue in front of customers/employees and she even told me she had to purchase jewelry from the store in order to meet her quotas. Then to add more drama to the toxicity. A co-worker Maria would alienate the other co-workers and cause problems so much so that a few co-workers called human resources and reported her. I immediately quit. Working in that negative environment reflects poorly onto the customers. I truly hope those two horrible people were fired and Zales has a better staff working there now.
While looking for a surprise gift for my wife i walked into Zales and the sales rep Blake helped me and made the search effortless. He was kind, professional and respectful. Kudos to Zales for a great hire.
The salesman was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I brought my broken chain in and he helped me replace it with ease. I also had a family ring with years of damage, so he talked me through the process of sending it in to have it repaired. I felt comfortable and well taken care of.
When I saw online that this store was finally open I attempted to take my diamond ring in for a guarantee check up and was told that due to Covid they are not doing these inspections, but they will extend the warranty for 6 months further down the road. Hopefully this helps other customers.
Shady business practices, apparently them sizing the watch in store counts as an alteration which was never stated when I purchased the watch for my dad. He didnt even like it and now Im stuck with an 800$ paper weight. No wonder they have to discount stuff so heavily to even get business.
I went to this store about a year ago, their customer service is excellent. The manager there and the sales lady are very professional. Would definitely come back again.
Cherri was really helpful in picking an anniversary gift for my wife! Funny, helpful, id say more of a friend than a sales person. Definitely recommend this place.
My initial visit was pleasant and I was able to quickly order what I wanted. However, I live out of town, and they told me as soon as my item arrived they would call me to see if I wanted to head back over the hill to pick it up, or have it shipped to a Zales in my town. I asked them to go ahead and ship it. They told me they would have it in the mail that day and it would take about two weeks to get to me (from Folsom to Reno, wow 2 weeks?) Anyway, two weeks later I call the Reno Zales, they dont have anything delivered yet, so they call the Folsom Zales. Folsom hadnt even shipped it out yet! I feel like they got my money and my sale, and then they just blew me off and werent honest about when they were planning on shipping the ring out, and all the while Im thinking it was shipped the day they SAID they shipped it, to get it in time for Christmas, but that wasnt the case. A little irritated at being mislead.
Came in to upgrade my wifes ring. It was a wedding set and the band was lost. Was told by multiple other Zales stores that they would just subtract the amount of the band from the resale value, but not here!! The manager would not let us trade it in at all without the band and would not try to come up with alternative either!!! Is this how you treat returning customers? Will not be returning to this location
Just finished my purchase from here and I can not explain how amazing these people are that work there. From the date of layaway to the final purchase they looked after me and helped me get the right ring. I highly recommend this store!
Poor customer service. Been a customer for 9years or more. My husband always buys a warranty with jewelry purchase. I brought my diamond earrings in because I lost a backing. They are screw backs. This happened three years ago as well, I had no problems with previous repair. ive had these treasured gems for 9 years. They tried to place backings that did not fit. As I preceeded to place in ear, they would not work, too tight, obviously trying for a cheap quick fix, Backings replaced were 14 k. The earrings are 18k. After putting my foot down she reluctantly said they would send them out to replace posts and re thread, which is the only way to properly repair. Two and a half weeks later, no phone call. I called, asked where earrings were. They say they just came in the day before. BS. I looked at the work order. Were ready on 30th of March, I called them on April 3rd. Got the earrings. They were not polished, screw posts looked dirty, not white gold in color. Small backings, 14k attached. Not the 18k larger backings I originally had. Also treated me like I was trying to get earrings that werent mine. “Bring ID with you.” Asked me when I picked them up, “are these yours?” I had ID and all paperwork including original bond. Plus I dropped them off.Lol no idiot Im just trying to steal them. If you want to be treated badly, go to this low class jewelry store. If you want good service, go see Nick at Rogers Jewlers in Folsom.
