They were quick to help me out of a bind...after I so smartly locked my keys in my truck at the gas pump! It was done at a very affordable price as well!We also had them tow and replace the brake line in our truck after it blew out in our driveway (thankfully!). They were able to get us taken care of quickly and also dropped the truck off at our house when they were done repairing it. Great and convenience service! Later on, we discovered they left the old brake line in rather than removing it. We called and questioned why this was done. The receptionist was quick to apologize and state they would look into correcting this for us. They came back with offer to remove the old line if we could drop the truck off. Unfortunately, since this was discovered while we were in the middle of moving, we werent able to get the truck to them right away. We will look to somehow take them up on that offer when we figure out a way to get our truck back into Fond du Lac (we moved out of town) during the week.

They were able to get me in in a very timely manner, girls who answered phone were very personable, price was extremely reasonable. I have breathing issues so instead of having to walk there to pick my car up, they dropped it off at my house. Excellent customer service.

Cannot say enough good things about J & M Towing and Service. I have been going here for many years, even through the change of hands. Service has only improved over the years it seems as they have implemented better process procedures, staff, and equipment. I have had simple work done on my trucks and some “not-so simple” work done. The quality never lacks. Shout out to the crew!! If you want HONEST work, this is the place to go in Fond Du Lac and surrounding area.

I bought a truck from a private seller in Madison. I owned it for 45min when it stopped running right outside of Fondulac. I called the nearest tow which happend to be J and M.The mechanic John gave me a call the next day. Turns out the engine seized!This truck was quickly turning into a nightmare.But John was able to make this terrible situation a bit more bearable. He managed to find a new (lower mileage!) engine. Install it and get it back to me within a reasonable amount of time.Now the truck is running great!Thank you to all the good folks at J and M!

I stupidly decided to travel in this recent snow storm. My truck spun out and landed in a snow drift along the side of Hwy 41. I called J&M Towing but had a difficult time describing where I was. The lady who answered the phone was very patient with me and asked a lot of questions to help determine where exactly I was located. Once we figured this out, I was back on the road within an hour. THANK YOU!!

Excellent experience! They came over and got the car started, I drove it to their shop, a new battery was installed, all within an hour!

They accepted a job from my roadside assistance provider then said they didnt have the tool to get the spare from under the pickup. I told them to tow it then, was told I needed a new order for that. I said Id call and then the driver said he couldnt tow me with the towtruck he had. I got the new order for s tow which they accepted. Over an hour later my roadside provider called me back. They contacted j & m to find out why they hadnt arrived yet. Now, an hour and a half later j & m says they cant provide the service!!!

J@M was very affordable and friendly!!! They brought a 4 door wrecker that was very clean and took care of my family! Great experience for having to get a tow.

J&M was very helpful after my car died on the Interstate. They towed it to their shop and replaced the alternator quickly and at a fair price.

Always confident John will never take advantage of someone like myself who knows nothing about vehicles, was told there was a problem with my back tires, he checked it out, sent me on my way, didnt cost a dime, said everything was fine, most mechanics would have taken full advantage and would have cost me hundreds. Very thankful for honest people like John.

I called cause my car is currently on ice and I wanted to see if they could just pull it back a bit so it wouldnt be stuck anymore and when I explained it to the lady on the phone, she was being so dense and just kept saying I dont understand. She was really useless and of no help at all and to top it of she had an attitude

Questioning why employee Brandon was so rude on the phone saying he was getting heated and not his problem after being asked why my car was dropped off at the wrong place and delayed service for a few days. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend.

I am from Chicago and attend Marian University. My car broke down and I had it towed to and worked on at J & M. I drive an 89 Cadillac Deville and they informed me they were unable to diagnose the problem why my car wouldnt start in a timely manner. They named off every main component under the hood and claimed that could be the source of the problem. They installed a mod in my distributer (which was replaced 3 months prior) and said that might fix it. I had them remove the mod and put the original back in. I ended up having a $130 bill for 0 work being done and the car was there less than 24 hours. Terrible service 0/10 would not recommend. Head over to Fond du Lac Tire & Service for MUCH better service.

My truck broke down just north of Fond du Lac. They picked me up soon after and expedited the repairs so l could get back home. Very happy with the service.

During a freezing rain storm on January 16 one of J and Ms drivers decided it would be a good idea to tailgate a vehicle I was a passenger in. The employee continue to tailgate our vehicle until trying to cut us off at an intersection. Upon calling the business to discuss why their drivers tailgate people in hazardous conditions the employee that answered the phone rudely blamed the situation on our vehicle. J and M obviously do not care about the Public Safety. I hope that when youre making a choice to do business with them you look elsewhere.
