Very friendly and helpful staff.. clean and well organized store. I only needed one small thing..but they will be getting more of my business.

The Ace website said the Forest Grove store was the only store in the area with the Ohio Stoneware crock set I wanted. And at a cheaper price than the online bookstore selling everything under the sun. I got to the store and couldn’t find it. Asked an associate who looked high and low. He had someone else look it up in inventory. He started looking. In the meantime, my wife who was also looking was asked by another associate if he could help her. They found the boxed set in back after a long search. During the wait, my wife was again asked if she needed help. LOL. When I went to pay, it rang up for more than I expected from the website. But never fear the manager came by and fixed the price. I can’t believe all the helpful, attentive people that we encountered. I probably will still shop my local Ace Hardware, but this store definitely has a lot going for it with its good selection and helpful people.

The employees are extremely helpful and can answer any questions or concerns you might have about a project your working on.

Sadly, my cargo trike was throwing bolts on the way to the doctors office. I needed 3 special sized bolts, and with the help of the staff/crew they got me squared right up, even showed concern that the replacement wasnt a Philips head. Made the purchase and got the repair done when I got home, good as new all thanks going to them!

Always have what you need. From tools to lighting. Keys, plumbing and window screens. Ask, most often its there

This is got to be one of the best Ace hardwares anywhere. Ive never seen A better stocked one for sure. There are always plenty of employees to help and they are very knowledgeable. You will probably pay a little more than the Box stores but you are supporting a local owner and The helpful customer service makes it well worth it

Ive never had a bad experience with ace hardware. Especially at the Forest Grove store. Except for today. Mondays i guess they have only one manager available to sign off on returns. Also there was only one cashier working with 7 folks in line waiting waiting waiting and waiting. While in line i mentioned to one of the salespeople they should get another cashier up there like they normally do. They did and during my turn i got snubbed by the manager and he never did come up to sign off on my return. So the checker did it anywaysVery annoying. But i guess you dont always get what you want. Hope the stones dont mind me using there phase.🙂

Before you leave Forest Grove for a trip to Home Depot or Lowes make this A e Hardware your stop for hardware and Garden needs. The employees are friendly and helpful. The price are comparable and competitive. If you are a Veteran they give discount on purchases.

Great store to get that one missing bolt I need to fix the bunkbed. Small store isnt as overwhelming as big box stores. Friendly staff and quick in and out.

Worst experience Ive ever had! The manager here was very rude and disrespectful towards my friend! He treated her like a common criminal, walked with her harassing her all the way through the store. When she confronted him, he grabbed hold of her and told her to leave. It was very humiliating! He should loose his job for that!

Great store! Friendly small-town vibe with good, well-versed staff on the floor. Owners are accessible and great to work with.

I tried to have keys copied and told the guy I didnt have much time to spare. What did he do? Take FOREVER to cut keys! And I got to hear about how the blanks are all our of order so he cant go faster. He called over another guy to help and he seemed to know what he was doing but left immediately. And to top it off, he broke my original key!! AARRGGHH! Oh and some of the keys dont even work 😒

Our first visit, we found it disorganized and a bit messy. Not the Ace experience we are used to.

Great staff and kind. Manager knows how to treat customers. I wanted a special supply and they didnt have it in stock but the Manger took care with price match on the next better product. Smart business move. Rather than lost a sale to a competitor. The down fall not enough inventory on higher end products.

Staff did not know any of the inventory, and was unable to answer a simple question about deck screws sizes available. Extremely over priced.

Been going here since I was a kid. Helpful staff, lots of stuff packed into the space. Well behaved dogs can accompany you, they have treats behind the counter.

When I am in the neighborhood, I never use another store, this one is family owned and operated and I cant think of better people to do business with. The only reason they didnt get all five stars is the entrance to their lot has been blocked by developers, they really screwed them over on that, city planning should have been more attentive and respectful to this long time business.

Have such a great selection of tools and odds and ends. Always helpful. So critical to our community to have brick and mortar hardware stores we can count on.

Ive trusted this Ace Hardware for nearly thirty years. Very knowledgeable staff and tons of stuff. Even if I can find some stuff a little less expensive elsewhere, I still go to Ace just to support the folks and the concept of a good comprehensive local hardware store.

Awesome customer service. They often will stock things that the big box hardware stores don’t sell. I try to start my projects at the Ace in FG.

Locally owned. They have every size screw, nut, and washer. A bit more expensive than the big chain stores, but if you want quality, Ace is your best bet.

Great place, really helpful. Gave me an idea to fix my well that i had not even thought of! Up and running way cheaper than i thought it was going to be.

My boyfriend and I started our own business building tables which has taken off better then expected. Ace Hardware in Forest Grove is just a block away from our house so of course we went their to purchase some stainer for our table. I stayed home while he ran up just to get KICKED out with no further explanation what so ever! We are good people we PAY and ABIDE in our country just to have someone discriminate against him... Was it because he had a backpack on...some people do walk up to your store and need a backpack to carry purchases home. Judging someone by appearance is just wrong! Then I went in and they sold it to me NO PROBLEM and I did not wear a backpack!! Good job Ace you just lost a lot of business...Im telling everyone we know. Shame on you.

I ordered a Christmas decoration on their website for $59.99 and picked it up the same day. I opened the package up and started to assemble it and noticed that some of the the parts were broken. I returned it the next day at the Wilsonville store. They would only refund $49.99 because I purchased it online and the the in-store was price was less.Needless to say I will not be shopping at Ace Hardware anymore.
