Beautiful setting and a reasonably priced tasting menu. $10 bucks forn5 tastings is almost unheard of these days. They also have a cool year round room dedicated to Christmas decorations. You can also get a german style spiced wine year round that tastes like Christmas. The grounds are beautiful.

Wine steward very very knowledgeable. Beautiful area for tasting wine. Being from Colorado I am thoroughly enjoying tasting wine in this area.

Have attempted to visit Risdall on two different occasions when their hours were listed as “open” and instead found them closed, for no apparent reason. Decent wine and beautiful grounds but not worth the long drive out. Call before you attempt to visit, not reliable hours.

This lovely winery was the location for our daughters wedding. It is a stunning location. The owners were helpful and professional in every way. I highly recommend this winery for any special event. If you dont have a special event, pack a picnic, sample a few wines then buy a bottle to enjoy with your picnic. Grab an outdoor table and enjoy the lovely view along with your wine and food.

My first visit to Shafer and like many of the wineries Shafer is set in a beautiful remote area. Stunning views with a beautiful area to sit and enjoy your wine. It is very quiet and quite serene. Miki is a wonderfully friendly, down-to-earth woman. The Santa shop that is adjacent to the tasting room is enormous and filled with everything Christmas... all year long! Tasting room is small, but quaint. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be back for a full day with picnic basket in hand!

I had my wedding at Shafer Vineyards on June 25th. The venue is beautiful, the wedding setup was seamless, and they gave us a memento of the occasion.Guests continue to rave about how beautiful the vineyard is; many said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.Complete success!

This is the friendliest winery/vineyard around! Miki is a joy, the variety of wines is incredible and the Christmas shop is an added bonus! Shafer Vineyard Cellar is my favorite winery! Dont forget to take a look at the gazebo and hillside area to have a picnic or just enjoy some wine!

Shafer Vineyard is one of the oldest vineyards in the Pacific Northwest. Most grapevines are 40 years old and they really know their wine making process. Miki is the most one of the most knowledgeable and friendly person you will have the pleasure of meeting! Their wine is the best! Dont forget to check out the Christmas ornaments from all over the world!

Nice winery. Specializes in traditional German varieties like Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Miller and dessert wines. Has a nice view of the valley below.

We visited on a beautiful November day and were awed by the lovely view of the vineyards, complete with a red-tailed hawk soaring above. Miki was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. And the wine was excellent. We plan on being repeat customers!

Miki saved my girlfriend and my Christmas this year. I had gone into Mikis christmas shop after hearing my christmas tree had fallen over and broken my girlfriends priceless ornaments. Miki was so kind and understanding and made sure to help me find the perfect ornaments for her. She gift wrapped them and made sure to put extra love on each one. The location is beautiful, the staff is next to none and the wine is phenomenal. You CANNOT go wrong with Shafer Vineyards for ANY occasion.
