When we got there, they werent too busy. But there were 5 employees working. We ordered 2 toasted bagels with extra cream cheese. We waited 15 minutes at least for those. When we got the bagels (to go) they forgot the extra cream cheese. When we got back to work to eat our bagels, one bagel was completely wrong. Not at all what we ordered. I love a bagel but dont understand how you can mess up such an easy order.

This place is so cute! The muffins are hand down incredible. The bagels we were soft and delicious I got a pretty big assortment and my favorite was the apple pie bagel with the homemade strawberry cream cheese. Totally worth the 45 minute drive!

The staff have no idea what theyre doing. At least 3 peoples orders were messed up while I was in there, including my own.

I came in on a Sunday morning, so probably not great timing with the after church rush. Either way, the internet was down so cash only for today- no big deal I understand. The staff were super friendly and helped me get a good bagel/ cream cheese combo. They were super nice and apologetic when the drink I ordered was made wrong and fixed it right away. The poor girl on bar seemed very overwhelmed so someone else remade my drink since I can’t have espresso and my chai latte had espresso shots. The powder they use for chai didn’t mix well- and tasted like the tins you get from the grocery story to make it yourself. I loved the bagel and the customer service was great- however the chai was disappointing. I would come back to try the other bakery items and smoothies though since the workers were so nice all around!

Oct 22, you guys closed 27 minutes early. A bit disappointed.Minnesota is the one of the nicest places to stop here for a bagel, sandwich, coffee, or all the above.

This place has great food and the people are friendly. I come here probably once a month. I like the bagels more than any other bagel shop and they have good breakfast and lunch sandwich options. The muffins are pretty good too. The only downside is that the flavored coffee urns are usually empty when I order a coffee. I think the team needs to pay more attention to the coffee because I don’t always have time to wait for fresh coffee and it’s not always easy to get the staff attention to brew more coffee when they’re busy, so there’s been times I left with half a cup of coffee. I have also gotten my take out order wrong on more than a couple occasions. Overall it’s a tasty place that I will continue to visit regularly.

My favorite is the chicken caesar sandwich on a Swiss melt bagel. Good coffee and muffins, too. Friendly people, nice location and flower/gift store attached is fun to explore. :)

15 minutes to toast and cream cheese a bagel, must have been sitting outside the toaster for a minute because it was cold and hard. Its not rocket science, its bad management.

Had never been to this chain before, reminds me a lot of brueggers bagels. Think bagel sandwiches and coffee- I enjoyed both and the staff was friendly and fast. Also not usually one for flavored coffees, but they had ‘triple chocolate’ out as an option so decided to try it- it’s amazing!

This place is a great morning place where they know you by name. A warm bagel with cream cheese and a large mocha. Just what the doctor ordered. Ashley, the owner, is definitely a great person who should be met at least once. You wont regret the stop.

Food is fresh and delicious, staff is very friendly, helpful, and take pride in their job. Coffee is too notch. The company is always giving back to the community.

As a kid my dad would come home in the morning with bagels from here and as I got older and was able to drive my own car I would go here and get coffee and food. I didn’t give it the full five stars is because they aren’t open for very long which is normal because it is a morning type of place and they are a little bit slow taking orders and getting to the counter. Otherwise this place is really great and if you are ever in forest lake I 100% recommend going to this place for some really good coffee and breakfast food!

Lots of delicious bagel and muffin options! Coffee options too, if youre a coffee drinker. Reasonable prices too. I just wish I didnt live 2.5+ hours away, because Im seriously craving a cherry cheesecake muffin!!

The variety of bagels and the ways they serve them is extremely large. They serve breakfast bagels, which are delicious, and than there are the regular bagels. The regular bagels are also good, they come with a cream cheese. If you want more of a cream cheese, no problem, they have containers of cream cheese. Then there is coffee and smoothies, and they are a treat! But I recommend the berry refresher! Its sweet with a little whipped cream on top.

Couldnt get anyone to take my order even though one was at the counter. After someone in the back came out she helped me. What I had was good. Needs to teach customer service!

I highly recommend Big Apple Bagels to anyone looking for a new breakfast or lunch place. It has a wide range of delicious options whether you want a bagel, sandwich, muffin or coffee. It also has a very friendly team that works hard to get each order out quickly.

Food is on par (not quite as good as burgers or Panera), but the operations need some help. Very disorganized, and always takes forever to get your order in the morning, especially if you order a specialty coffee.

I eat here at least once a week for lunch! Grate place, friendly faces 🙂

Be wary of the tip amount added to your card.Went there 10/11/2020 purchased a Holy Wacamole and a Latte. I usually tip for everything, I would like to consider myself a good tipper. This time however, I cant quite remembered how much I tipped, but I can tell you, I never leave more than 20% on a place that wasnt exceptional or that I am a regular at. I must have left like 2 or 3 dollars tip here.Well, this morning I got an alert from my credit card asking if I tipped them 50% or about 7 dollars. Of course I didnt.I gave them a call right after trying to fix things, but they hanged up on me. Nedless to say, I wont be visiting this place again.

Coffee is some of the best around. And the bagels? Super soft, flavorful, and delightful. The staff couldn’t be more amazing!

Food is okay but prices are over priced. Several experiences in the last several months have left me dissatisfied and today was the final straw and I won’t be back. The main reason is because the posted specials that I have ordered and were previously honored, yet still posted, are no longer honored, New or daily posts are also not honored. Always an excuse as to why that isn’t what the sign means ...ex...Make any sandwich into a meal for x amount of money and previously could be used on breakfast sandwiches, is now only for the lunch sandwiches only, yet that’s not what the sign says. It’s not specific to that. There’s more but don’t want to go into every one of them. The final straw today was that my friend that tried using his new diners club card no longer has it because the server said it was expired and before we could say anything or take it back she ripped it up and threw it out as she was saying she would take care of that for us. It took us a little bit to realize that it was his new one and not his old one from last year. We remembered later that he already got rid of his old one and on top of that he remembered what holes were punched on it and it was the months that the card begins on, not ends on. Also, the daily special that was posted on the counter today also had an excuse to not honor it. The gourmet muffins are definitely tasty but not worth paying $36.+ tax for 12. On top of that I have had my orders screwed up and didn’t know it until gone and didn’t have time to go back for them to fix it. I stopped going here years ago because of the expense, but have gone around 6-8 times in the last 4-5 months and have been dissatisfied with the service over half the times I have been there. I’m sick of the excuses for not honoring the specials. It’s not worth the expense or aggravation. The one star is because the muffins are great tasting and the other food tastes a step above fast food, but overall really not worth the extra expense.

This is a very neat little place to sit and relax, read the paper, get out of the office and have some quiet time, or just drop in for a quick bite. Karen is fantastic and remembers my name when I come in, and the owners really do a good job hiring the right people to fit the community. This is truly a gem!

The place is great. Love the service. Coming here is always a highlight of that morning. The muffins are amazing especially the chocolate chip. The sandwiches are good. The bagels are amazing, but I wouldn’t say their best menu item. The store is almost always packed and there will be a wait, but it is still a great place to go.

This is probably my favorite breakfast place in town. The bagels are always fresh and delicious and there are tons of options to choose from. You can have them a bunch of different ways and I’ve liked every sandwich I’ve tried. The muffins are good and the coffee is always fresh and hot. Also a huge fan of how it connects to the flower shop next door. It’s just a wonderful place to eat.

We have been coming to Big Apple Bagels for years. They have a good selection of bagels, bagel sandwiches (breakfast and lunch), coffee drinks, and enormous smoothies. They get pretty busy on weekend mornings around 9 or 10 but the wait is never very long.

Order at counter and they bring the order directly to your table - great customer service touch and a way to stand out compres to other coffee shops.Lots of seating but they get busy around 10 am. WiFi is consistent and fast.For those that don’t drink coffee they offer milk (white and chocolate), Coca Cola products (fountain drinks with the endless number of options) and juices.
