Eric Pratt in service and the gentleman in parts went above and beyond in addressing a separate issue with my truck when I was in for routine maintenance. It was small enough problem with my fuel fill tube fastener that they could’ve easily brushed it off, but they researched a solution, installed parts and fixed it all during the oil change. Not a bid deal in their day, but a reasonable irritant for me every time I filled the tank. Thanks for excellent service in the details guys.

Dave Middleton, our Sales Consultant was very informative and patient answering all of our questions. We had been looking around for a truck for a while and discovered the one we bought by looking online. It was a couple hour drive for us and Dave assured us that the truck would be there when we got there. It was a no pressure sale (we would have walked away otherwise). At Whitaker I have always felt that the service providers are knowledgeable and do not over recommend service. As a female truck owner it has been a bumpy road with mechanics and service providers who treat women like people. Adam Bernardini in the Service department is the absolute best!! He goes above and beyond every time. Ive had a transmission issue for almost the past year. Long story short....he worked with the extended warranty company (warranty had just expired, but he kept such great notes from last summer) and made sure the right thing was done for me and my vehicle. I had a rattle in the left dashboard area. They drove my truck 6 miles and could not locate it. I drove home (140 miles) and listened to the rattle much of the way. I feel little effort was put in trying to correct this problem. oil change was fine and finished right on the scheduled time.
They went above and beyond to take care of us. We appreciate the expediency and communication. Overall, it was a great experience!
Great people but not much in stock for GMC trucks
I have been very happy with my car service at Whitakers. Im in and out and never get pushed for other services. I know my vehicle very well and if it may be possibly needing attention in other areas. Bought a used Buick under warranty at a different dealership and needed the rear AC fixed. First time working with the service department and I was thrilled with the overall experience I had.
I realize cars are expensive to repair and the equipment/mechanics wages are costly for a dealership. However, I believe 100 dollars for a diagnostic check is a little steep, especially since since the code is given within minutes of plugging the system in to the vehicle.

I TOOK MY 2017 ARCADIA LIMITED IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE, WHEEL ALLIGNMENT & AND TIRE ROTATION. ALSO A BATTERY CHECK TEST. THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING IN A SHORT TIME. I WAS AMAZED HOW QUICKLY IT WAS ALL TAKEN CARE OF! VERY SATISFIED WITH WHITAKER BUICKS SERVICE ADVISOR ADAM FOR GETTING IT DONE.
It was well worth the drive to get a quality clean used car at a really good price. They understood our urgency and when we came to fill out the paperwork we were done so fast and were able to head back and get back to work.

I contacted them about a 2019 Ford 250 Platinum truck. I told them I wanted to drive up there to see it. The salesman told me it was in the shop to get the catalytic converter reinstalled but he would call me when it was done. After several days and no phone call I checked their website again. I seen the same truck only now it was listed as a 250XL, and the price jumped up about $2000. I guess the only good that came out of this was they saved me from driving 4 hours to find out that the truck wasnt a Platinum like they first advertised.And it has been over a week and still havent heard a word, call, email or text from them.
Im a new customer to this establishment. So far I see a clean and organized vehicle intake system for service. They have a very well appointed selection of new loaner vehicles. It was easy in and out when picking up parts I ordered online. My SUV was fixed properly the first time and under warranty. So far so good. I will see how things go...
Dave Middleton was wonderful! Whitaker was the 4th dealership I had been to that day because I was ready to purchase a vehicle. The first place had a lack of inventory and the next two were very frustrating because they would not look at my trade to give me a price (just estimated with Kelly Blue book without looking at my vehicle) and it was difficult for me to get the sales reps attention at one of the dealerships. Once I did enter into a conversation I was repeatedly asked when my husband would join us which I felt to be disrespectful.However, at Whitaker Dave gave me his full attention as soon as I walked in the door, walked me through options for what I said I wanted, walked me through pricing and pretty much had me sold before we got to the car. I was unfamiliar with Acadias before arriving at your deadlership last week and I wanted that vehicle by the time I left. If it had not been so late in the day I would have made the purcahse right then. We know we will need an additional car for our household next year and look forward to connecting with Dave again in 2022. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.Also, never having had a vehicle with OnStar before, we are really pleased with this service and the new Guardian app option for our family. This technology and the loyalty progam/credit card to earn funds toward a down payment are very attractive. We have been loyal Honda customers for nearly 20 years and have never had that benefit before and appreciate the opportunity to try these programs with GMC.
Staff was friendly. A little irritated that when I had my exhaust fixed prior to this recall fix, they made everything fit without leaking exhaust (thats why they fixed it in the first place was due to leaking exhaust) and you guys change out parts and tell me I have to bring my car back to the guy who fixed my exhaust to fix the leak that your facility left. Tiny or not, I have a 5 month old that rides in this car, plus it wasnt leaking when I brought it in to you so I expected it to leave in the same condition, well better condition as I was getting new parts due to a recall.
Recently purchased a 2018 raptor from Dave Middleton, he was extremely helpful and patient. Did not push for me to purchase immediately, very thorough and answered all my questions. I plan on having all of my future vehicle purchases being from Dave!

I brought our 2003 LaSabre Limited to Whitaker for an oil change (84,000+ miles). Eric and shop crew also found I needed a new wheel bearing plus transmission coolant lines. Two hours later all was completed despite a backlog of vehicles in the shop. I was more than satisfied that the crew diagnosed the several problems caused by aging of the Buick and now I can drive more safely with confidence.

The service was fine and mostly what I expected. The people are friendly and helpful and the work looked like it was done well. I have a warranty/ maintenance agreement that I got when I bought my car from Whitaker. Im disappointed in the coverage of the total inclusive plan (whatever the name it was supposed to cover all but wear items - breaks, tires, fluids, etc.) I have a defective rear defrost that isnt covered and a side mirror that was replaced but couldnt be color matched unless I spent more money.I am also a little disappointed with Whitaker. Since I bought the service agreement from you, I had hoped that you would know that glass isnt covered, and spare me from paying for a diagnostic that you should have known wouldnt be covered.

So very disappointed to find out my free oil change had expired . We bought it 3/21/20 and the free oil change was no longer good ☹Please explain!Service manager called today and said our next oil change on our 2020 Sierra will be noted in their records as free of charge.Wished this was taken care of at time of service but I had to put in a complaint over a 15 day expiration date.

Strongly cautioning anyone from purchasing the Extended Warranty. The finance team informed me it was a 5 star bumper to bumper program that covers everything except regular scheduled maintenance. Unfortunately when I brought my truck in for a service repair on a faulty seat I was informed it would not be covered by the service team. The service team was great and only passing along what they were informed by the warranty company. I then proceeded to meet with the finance guy who sold me the extended warranty. I explained to him what required repair and he informed me again that I had purchased the 5 star bumper to bumper and that everything was covered with the exception of regular maintenance. He noted the repair my truck required would be covered and would follow-up the next morning with the warranty company. He did not call back nor would he reply to my voicemails. I proceeded to call the GM of the dealership who committed to looking into my concern. Unfortunately he would not support the repair that the finance guy committed to either. Clearly they are selling a program they do not fully understand and thus my caution!!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Im not one to write reviews, good or bad, but Whitaker Auto is amazing. All of the staff I worked with went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and made my car buying experience the best yet. When I walked in to see a car that was listed online, it was out for minor repair. Samantha was able to answer all my questions about the car, and even sent me text messages with pictures when the car was back on the lot. She is AWESOME. Her no pressure sales attitude and sweet demeanor were exactly what I needed after having a bad experience at another dealership days earlier. I purchased a car I love and all those who stopped over to say hi in the time I was there made the experience so much better. The staff there are just some of the friendliest I have met. This is a late review on my part.A few months back I saw a used truck they had posted online,by the pictures it appeared to be what I was interested in so I called them.The gentleman that answered(Very sorry but I forget his name) said the truck was still there but had some repair issues needing to be addressed.He then read off a long list of the needed repairs,there was alot! I quickly knew this wasnt the one for me and Thanked him for his time.Still looking for the rite used truck and I am shocked at the lack of transparency and dishonesty I have encountered with many other car dealerships near and far.Today while thinking about how bad alot of these dealership experiences have been it reminded me of this one honest guy I chatted with months ago!
We were really happy with our oil change and I was pleasantly surprised that we got a car wash too. My only issue was I was waiting with two kids, 7 and 1, and they said an hour or under and it was an hour and a half. No one said a word to update my time, or say hey - this is whats up. I wish there had been better communication, but overall, was good. Probably will go back.
