Furniture, household goods, appliances and such are available at Sears Hometown Store, but Im mostly partial to their Craftsman tools with lifetime warranty! Nice!

Ive been to the Sears Hometown Store numerous times over the past few years. Michelle Berry and others who work there have always been customer friendly,courteous and kind. If i have a problem with anything, which are few, shell make it right. A definite pleasant shopping experience!!!

I entered store intending to purchase a mid-level ticketed item (over $900) based on the quality reviews I read online. I was not greeted upon entering, I had to prompt one of the three people there to even talk to me and when I started asking questions pertaining to the warranty, both manufacturer and extended, was met with a shrug of indifference and I dont know. Only with further prompting from me was the answer sought out for me. While I waited for the answer from one person the other two treated me with silent indifference. Mind you, my family were the only ones in the store at the time. I eventually made my purchase here because it was my only option to get this particular item within a reasonable driving distance of my home. Once my item was loaded I was not even thanked for my business and was once again made to feel as though we were an inconvenience to them rather than a valued customer. I only gave the two stars because they had the item I wanted in stock. Overall, I am very disappointed and will not give this place any more of my business if I can help it. I dont care if I have to drive 100 miles or more next time, it isnt worth being treated this badly.

Drove over 100 miles to give this store my business based on a family members recommendation. #supportlocalBought my mother a refrigerator for her 70th birthday. I do understand the fact that the delivery truck broke down and it delayed the delivery, however, I was disturbed by the fact that they offered my mother the floor model as compensation for her wait. This disturbed me because often the floor model is not the same value as the purchased (new) model. I do not know how long it was sitting out or how long it was running. If you offer a floor model, a discount should have been offered. When I inquired with the owner, she was rude and assumed my mother purchased it because her name was on the system for delivery. I informed her I made the purchase and have the bank statement to prove I purchased it. People do buy gifts and have them delivered to other people so obviously her name is on the form. I will be fair to say that the man who assisted me with the purchase was very patient and pleasant. My mother also informed me that he was there to assist with delivery. I wanted to support a local business. Next time, I will think long and hard. In the end, I give it a 3 because my mother is happy with her refrigerator. As the purchasing customer, I had every right to question the purchase.
