Awesome parts store & great guys who know appliances. They often have the parts you need so you can fix your own appliances inexpensively, and dont have to wait for an online order to arrive.

We ordered a new door gasket for our Samsung refrigerator because the door kept popping open and we thought the gasket had lost its magnetism. But NO! It turned out there was still a silly jar in the way and my husband and I both missed it. When we realized our error, we thought it was too late. But NO again! I called and they managed to cancel the order just before it shipped, and credited my credit card back for over $100. Service above and beyond, for sure.

I just called and asked for help on a part and I couldnt find a model number and asked if I could give them what I thought was the model number and the guy said no he didnt want to waste his time. Im remodeling a bunch of homes and this guy just lost $1000s of dollars in business. Nice job.

The folks at Appliance Parts Depot have never let me down. They are knowledgeable and friendly and are careful to ensure you get the right part for your appliance. Ive been in a number of times over the years to get replacement parts for dishwashers, clothes washers, dryer, etc. You can always order stuff online, but it is nice to support a local business and usually get the proper part the same day!

I purchased a part that clearly had defective threads when attempting to install. They refused credit to replace the part. Dont purchase anything from this company if they cant support legitimate defects!

This merchant does not seem to be an authorized Bosch Appliance distributor currently.For the special ordered electrical part I purchased, the Merchant’s receipt stated ‘No refunds or exchanges on electrical items...’See photos of replacement parts I was shown. Not a pleasant experience to be out of money and not get a good quality part. I will head to the OEM or an authorized distributor in the future that can provide me better consumer protection.

Been here quite a few times over the years. These guys have always been great. Their selection of obscure parts is absolutely amazing. And their knowledge is too. A few years ago I needed a replacement heating element for my oven. I walked in the door, and by the time I made it to the front counter he already had the correct replacement in his hand for me... these guys know their stuff.

Tim was fantastic and very patient. Answered all my questions and made some calls for me. The part I needed (washer lid switch) was in stock and works perfectly. Thank you!

Just updating this review, looks like I made this review 8 years ago and they still are awesome!Dec 2019 they really helped me out, my range has either a misprint in the parts guides or something, but Tim took an hour to get me the right part, tracking down the correct revision of range I have.Ive used them probably around a dozen times over the last 4 years, and theyve always been able to get the parts we need quickly. There have been a couple of times where I didnt know exactly the part, but they were able to come up with something to help me anyway.Theyve always provided us with excellent service, and been quick and responsive.

I research my part online and then call Appliance Parts Depot. Im usually leaving with the part I need, and theyre quick to order it in if they dont have it. They always offer the non-OEM part and take time to explain and show its the same part for less money! Appliance repair isnt as hard as people think, and my appliances seem to want me to be on a first name basis here!

Stopped by looking for a dryer knob. Tried 3 other places first with no luck. I didnt have the model number, but the gentleman who helped me was able to quickly find the same knob, no problem. Looks like they have just about anything you could need. I will definitely go back in the future if I need other parts. Small sign, but easy to find.

The customer service is really lacking here. I called looking for a water filter for my fridge and the man who answered the phone was condescending and unhelpful. When I explained which filter I was looking for he continued to talk over me and scoffed at me when I tried to describe the filter. I would not recommend this business based on this unpleasant interaction.

I want to reiterate what others said. Appliance Parts Depot is clearly knowledgeable with a good inventory and convenient to have a place local. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired, whenever I called I felt as though I was inconveniencing them. Also, I tried to return an opened part, understanding that they dont accept opened parts. My complaint is that apart from opening it I had no wayto know if it would fit. For all I know they gave me the wrong part but wouldnt accept the return. They were less than understanding in discussing this issue. I like to shop local but this is the kind of thing that makes it far more appealing to shop online where I have found lower prices, with free to minimal shipping costs, and easy return policies. Would love to give a positive review but I cant.

Called on the phone trying to find a part. It was my first part order from them so Im sure I was kinda fumbling through what I needed but either way the gentleman was very short not very helpful and hung up on me. Called another place in town had all the info and parts in 5 min with a helpful attitude. They need to do some test calls and really see how there people treat customers.Not a good first impression and I will be taking my propertys business elsewhere.

Tim and the guys here are amazing to work with. They look up parts with just a model number and have a ton of parts on hand. If the part needs to be ordered, it comes fast. The prices are reasonable too- most of the time on par with or below internet pricing. Hands down the best appliance parts store in northern Colorado, maybe the world.

Amazing! Went in thinking we needed a certain part for our dryer and the gentleman behind the counter steered me to another part that was a more common problem. Worked like a charm. This isnt the first time this happened. Weve been going there for years and they always have figured out what part we need. Thanks APD, you guys are the best!

Do not shop here!!! I purchased a part from this business and ended up not needing it. When I went to return this $140 part, which can easily be found online for $55, the business owner opened the taped box and examined the part with a magnifying glass only to accuse me of opening the box, installing and then removing it, and re-taping the box. He then refused to accept the return. The box was never opened by me, and the part never installed! However, that didnt stop the owner from accusing me of re-taping the box and attempting to return it. He even pointed out two layers of tape he cut through to open it, which is exactly how it came. Maybe they sell parts this way so they can refuse returns? He did end up returning the part minus a fee, but only after arguing and accusing me of being a liar for almost a half hour. Awful experience with an extremely rude and apparently dishonest business. Save yourself a lot of headache and money, order the part online or go down the road a few blocks where they dont treat customers like criminals. Worst business ever!

OK: I OWE THESE GUYS MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!I came in with a stuck oven door hinge off a 1 year old Samsung. Upon noticing that it was just stuck, not broken, both counter parts experts took it, compressed the spring, and reset the latch keeper.My wife was going to kill me even though I had just cleaned the oven. I took the door off, by following the owners manual, so Id have more room.Then I couldnt get the door back on.Now Im alive and SAFE....(for the time being)THANK YOU!!!!!

I have been buying parts from these guys for almost 15 years. Always knowledgeable and helpful. Very fast turnaround if they dont have the part in stock but most of the time they will have the item needed and you will walk out the door with it. Always have your make, model and serial number to expedite your order. Saw some negative reviews here but they have to be due to customer error.

I experimented with repairing my own microwave today and to my shock and awe Appliance Parts Depot had the switch that was broken on my Panasonic Inverter and I was able to diagnose, purchase the new part, and fix the problem all in the same day and for only six bucks! I purchased a heating element for my dryer on 10/28/2015. I put the part in and the dry error again said heating element. On 11/02/2015 the dryer company came (had to pay labor but my part was under warranty. Trying to save money on the labor by originally doing it myself) because I couldnt imagine what else it could be. The dryer company said the element was defective and installed an new one. Took the defective part back and they will not give me my money. They say that the part is under warranty and they will give me a new part but I cant have my money back. I said a warranty should be if you use it for a period of time and then it fails with in that time frame, mine never worked its broke! Still wont give me my money back! There are no signs that say the refund policy, it is not told to you when you purchase the part and it is not on the receipt. Now I am out 86.00 because of there crappy business (and the 196.00 I had to pay to have the dryer company to come out/labor only)! The principle of this company is terrible! So sad that a local shop treats people like this!**The invoice does say No exchanges or refunds on electrical or special order parts. Returns subject to 20% restock charge. This invoice is stapled to your credit card slip. After talking to the owner I called ERP the company that supplies this store with there products, they are located in St. Charles, IL. They say that the store can return the product and they will issue a credit to the stores account. I am not able to return it myself but the store can. When I explained everything to them they said this store seems to be doing things backwards. I called the owner back and told him that he can return it and get a credit on his account. He told me he would charge me a 20% restocking fee (not sure what he is restocking/my defective part?) which would be $17.19. Then he would charge me at least $12.00 for shipping and when he sees the credit to his account he would then give me my money. I offered to box the item, go in to the store and have them put what every they needed to in the box and take it to the mail myself, no wouldnt do that either! This company is absolutely horrible if anything goes wrong, you will never see you money! Owner says he has been in business 30 years and cant see why this is frustrating to me. He wants me to utilize a warranty on a part that never even worked, warranties are for products that you used during the warranty time that now have a claim against, my part never worked! He also told me I got ripped off by paying the dryer company 196.00 to come fix my dryer after the defective part would not work. He said that I should be mad at them and then told me that it only costs $40-50.00 to have someone put in a heating element. Huh must have got his figures from 30 years ago (along with his business practices) because I called 3 other places and they were all within that fee. BUYER BEWARE!

Rude from the start, but got the part I wanted. Turns out my appliance needed more repairs than the obvious part I purchased. So decided to buy a new unit. When I went to return the oven heat element they would not refund me, citing their return policy. Thanks for mentioning that before you swiped my card. Then consoled me and told me to try and sell it on Ebay. Never again will I support them. My gut was to go to Sears. And they have a return policy..
